PACK FOR PREPARING FOODS OR BEVERAGES
A pack (100) having an inner volume in which a food or beverage ingredient is stored and in which a food or beverage product is produced when a fluid is introduced inside, said inner volume being defined by sheets of material joined to one another at their edges and said inner volume presenting a generally plane shape defining a plane (P) essentially vertically oriented during beverage production, said pack (100) comprising at least one fluid inlet (110) for supplying a fluid in the inner volume and at least one dispensing outlet (120) for delivering the food or beverage product from said inner volume, said fluid inlet (110) and said dispensing outlet (120) being positioned at the bottom of the pack (100) and being at least partially positioned between two joined edges of the sheets of material, the fluid inlet (110) being oriented essentially perpendicularly to the plane (P) defined by the inner volume, the dispensing outlet (120) being configured as an essentially parallel tube arranged essentially vertically from the inner volume, configured so as to enable a free flow of the food or beverage product form the pack (100), the dispensing outlet (120) comprising a primary outlet section (300) and a secondary outlet section (400), the secondary outlet section (400) being arranged vertically higher than the primary outlet section (300) and having a bigger diameter than that of the primary outlet section, such configuration allowing the sequential dispensing of the food or beverage product at least in two phases, a first phase where dispensing is done through the primary outlet section (300) and a second phase where dispensing is done through the secondary outlet section (400).
Methods of Making Flexible Containers
Methods of making non-durable self-supporting flexible containers.
SHEET MATERIAL CONTAINER
A sheet material container includes a container body that surrounds a containing portion for accommodating a content. The container body is formed of a container body-forming sheet member formed by layering a plurality of base material films. The container body-forming sheet member includes the plurality of base material films, an attaching layer by which the base material films are attached to each other, and a filler enclosed portion that is formed between the plurality of base material films and into which a filler is to be filled. The plurality of base material films are made from the same type of resins.
CONTAINER WITH SPOUT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
The spout-equipped container includes a container and a spout. The spout includes a spout main body, an opening body accommodated in a cylinder of the spout main body, an activating body which moves the opening body, and a hermetically-sealing sheet which covers an inner opening which fronts an accommodating unit in the spout main body. The opening body is formed so as not to be get out of the spout main body, is formed so as to move toward the hermetically-sealing sheet, and has its center where a spout through hole is formed. The hermetically-sealing sheet is formed so as to be partially torn by the opening body to make the accommodating unit of the container and an outer opening of the spout main body communicate with outside via the spout through hole of the opening body, and is formed so that an accommodated substance is poured outside.
MULTI-CHAMBER CONTAINER FOR BIOLOGICAL MATERIALS AND COMPOUNDED PHARMACEUTICALS
An apparatus for storing tissue and other biological materials includes a separable flexible container that includes a first layer coupled to a second layer via a set of seals to define a first storage volume and a second storage volume. Separate tissue specimens are containable within the first storage volume and the second storage volume. A first portion of the first layer or the second layer defines a first opening into the first storage volume. A second portion of the first layer or the second layer defines a second opening into the second storage volume. The opening into the first volume and the opening into the second volume are positioned near opposite edges of the flexible container. The separable flexible container also includes a hinge to allow the first opening and the second opening to move from location on opposing edges of the separable flexible container to adjacent locations.
FLUID PACKAGE AND FLUID PACKAGE UNIT
A fluid package, having a pouch with a compartment apartment delimited by a film and a spout, is provided. The film includes an outer layer, an inner layer, a light-shielding layer, and a bonding layer. An outer periphery of the light-shielding layer is located at a position on an inner side of outer peripheries of the outer layer and the inner layer, at one of a position same as an outer periphery of the container compartment and a position on an outer side with respect to the outer periphery of the container compartment. The light-shielding layer covers an entirety of the container compartment and blocks ultraviolet rays. The bonding layer bonds the outer layer and the inner layer with the light-shielding layer interposed there-between. The bonding layer includes a directly-bonded area, in which the outer layer and the inner layer are directly bonded, in a range surrounding the light-shielding layer.
PACKS AND MACHINE FOR PREPARING BEVERAGES
The invention concerns a pack (1) with an inner volume (2) in which a food or beverage ingredient (7) is stored and in which a beverage is produced when water is introduced inside, said inner volume (2) being defined by sheets of material (10) joined to one another at their edges and said inner volume (2) presenting a generally plane shape defining a plane (P) vertically oriented during beverage production, said pack comprising at least one inlet (3) for introducing water in the inner volume and at least one outlet (4) for delivering the beverage from said inner volume, said water inlet and said beverage outlet being included in at least one insert (5) and being positioned at the bottom of the pack and being at least partially positioned between two joined edges of the sheets of material (10), and wherein the pack comprises a liquid outlet (6) in at least one insert, said liquid outlet being closed by one sheet of material (10) defining the inner volume (2).
CLOSURE CAP ASSEMBLY
A closure cap assembly for a container having a spout is described. The closure cap assembly includes a spout adapter and a cap. The spout adapter has a tubular body portion and a pull portion. The body portion is configured to be fixed to the spout of the container, and the pull portion is positioned in a flow passage of the body portion. A proximal end of the pull portion is connected to the body portion to form a seal across the flow passage. The distal end extends beyond the distal end of the body portion. The cap has a top end and a bottom end, is connected to the external surface of the body portion, and is connected to the pull portion in a way that the pull portion separates from the body portion as the cap is removed from the body portion.
FREEZABLE SPOUTED PACKAGE
A package for consuming a food product in a frozen or non-frozen state. The package includes a pouch body and a fitment. The pouch body defines a chamber for receiving the food product and includes a cut of predetermined depth to facilitate tearing of the pouch body to create an opening for dispensing the food product in a frozen state. The fitment includes a spout for dispensing the food product in a non-frozen state.
FLEXIBLE POUCH WITH AN INTERNAL ZIPPER
A flexible pouch has an internal zipper adding support to the pouch and allowing the contents of the pouch to be portioned. Flexible pouches having a product disposed therein are also disclosed, along with kits containing same. In addition, methods of producing the flexible pouches and packaged products are also disclosed.
