Bag in box container
A bag in box container having one or more features for lifting the bag in box, deploying the tap dispenser of the bag in box conveniently, storing a dosing cup, or conveniently using the bag in box container.
Liner for beverage and food vessels
A liner for use with a fluid dispensing vessel. The liner includes a flexible pouch defining an interior region and configured to be placed in a fluid dispensing vessel. The pouch includes a top end that is partially sealed and that includes a first opening. The pouch includes a fluid passageway defined by at least two sealed boundaries and that leads from the opening to the interior region. The pouch includes a bottom end that includes a second opening. The liner includes a fluid dispensing fitment connected to the pouch and configured to be in fluid communication with interior region via the second opening. When fluid is poured into the interior region of the pouch through the opening, it can be dispensed from the pouch through the fitment.
A VALVE ASSEMBLY
A valve assembly (300) comprising a valve body (302) and a plunger (304). The plunger (304) is movable through an opening (314) in the valve body from (i) a transit seal position in which an axial bias spring (316) is relatively uncompressed, to (ii) an operating configuration in which the plunger (304) is movable between an operational open position and an operational closed position by or against the axial bias spring (316). In addition, the valve assembly (300) is configured to provide a mechanical restriction to the plunger (304) moving from the transit seal position to the operating configuration.
Dispensing assembly
A dispensing assembly for a liquid container including a ring part configured to be mounted to a liquid container, a resilient member positioned in the ring part to be in contact with the liquid contents of the liquid container, a ring member mountable to the ring part to secure the resilient member to the ring part, and a hollow connecting member with an outlet. The connecting member is releasably securable to the ring member and includes a hollow projecting member which, when the connecting member is secured to the ring member, engages the resilient member so as to urge an opening in the resilient member to permit liquid in the container to pass into the connecting member and subsequently out through the outlet.
Bag-in-Box Container for Storing and Transporting Liquids with a Maximum Security Tap for Consumption Directly or by Means of Flexible Tubes
The invention relates to a bag-in-box container for storing and transporting liquids with a maximum safety tap for direct consumption through flexible tubes, for housing a filled bag with two opposite vertical positions for handling and transport, and another position for dispensation, with better safety control and a content outflow anti-blocking system; and spouts with direct connection to tube lines for the conduction of and mixing with other products at a distance, or for visible dispensation without touching the container at a shorter distance, with another end tap, a flow interrupter with a deformable elastic element connected with flanges that can be actuated between normal and safety closed positions, a nozzle that can be connected to one of the spouts for direct dispensation into the mouth, and a set of measurements printed on the box to help sorting and recycling the components of the container.
Dispensing tap and methods for using the same
A dispensing tap for liquids includes a body connected to the neck of a container, a dispensing head with an outlet or mouth, and a throat connecting the body to the dispensing head. A shut off valve is configured for sealing engagement with the mouth of the dispensing head, and a piston is axially guided within the dispensing head. The piston includes a peripheral seal slidably engaged with an interior surface of the dispensing head, and a valve stem coupled to the shut off valve. The piston is selectively actuable between a normally closed position an open position. A vent is in communication with an interior of the body and the vent is opened and closed with movement of the piston and shut off valve.
PRODUCT CONTAINER INCLUDING A PRODUCT DISCHARGE DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
A product container includes a product discharge device for releasing product from the container, the discharge device including a spout unit for discharge. The spout unit is rotatable, about a spout rotation axis, from a first position to an operational position. The spout unit preferably includes a handle for rotation from the first to the operational position, the handle preferably extending substantially radially outwardly from the axis; and a seal unit configured to enter an opened state, from a sealed state. In the latter, the seal unit is configured to substantially airtightly close off a flowthrough channel of the discharge device, and, in the former, the seal unit is configured to allow flow through the flowthrough channel. The discharge device is configured such that the seal unit can be brought from the sealed to the opened state by rotating the spout unit from the first to the operational position.
HAND-SANITIZER DISPENSER KIT SYSTEM
A hand-sanitizer dispenser kit includes an outer box or container; a bag having a concealable or retractable spout for dispensing the material stored within the bag; and a plurality of spray bottles. Wherein the bag is located within the box and the box has an opening configured to allow the spout of the bag to be placed inside of the box when the spout is in a retracted position or outside of the box when the spout is in a non-retracted position; and wherein the spout must be rotated before the material inside of it can be dispensed.
TAP ASSEMBLY
A tap assembly for dispensing fluid from a flexible container includes a gland for connecting with the container, the gland having an inlet and an outlet. A tap is in fluid communication with the outlet of the gland. An incision device is fixed with respect to the tap to rotate with a corresponding rotation of the tap, the incision device located at the inlet of the gland, and positioned fully within the gland in a first rotational position and generally outside of the gland in a second rotational position. An indent and/or rib and/or molded sidewall is positioned on the gland or the tap and a corresponding detent and/or rib and/or tap flange is positioned on an opposite of the tap or the gland such that the tap is rotatable between the first rotational position and the second rotational position and the indent and the detent and/or molded sidewall prevents further rotation.
Containers for holding materials
The invention provides for a container that may include a liquid-holding vessel and a skeleton shell supporting the liquid holding vessel. The liquid-holding vessel may comprise a flexible polymer or plastic material for preventing contact between a liquid stored in or dispensed from the container and the skeleton. The liquid-holding vessel and the closure may be formed from a minimal amount of polymer or plastic. The invention also provides for a connection of a liquid-holding vessel with a fitment to the skeleton shell using ultrasonic means. Further, a skeleton shell with mating features allowing the skeleton shell to be formed with smooth edges is provided.
