Cover material for packaging container for retort sterilization
Provided is a cover material for packaging contains for retort sterilization which comes to exhibit excellent sealing strength through low-temperature, short-time heat sealing. The cover material for packaging containers for retort sterilization is constituted of a multilayered laminate obtained by superposing a base layer, an interlayer, and a sealing layer in this order, and is characterized in that the base layer is constituted of a laminated film obtained by laminating a polyethylene terephthalate film or polybutylene terephthalate film to an aluminum foil and the aluminum foil of the base layer has been laminated to the interlayer with a polyurethane-based adhesive or a polyester-based adhesive, and that the aluminum foil has a thickness of 7-40 μm, the polyethylene terephthalate film or the polybutylene terephthalate film has a thickness of 6-18 μm, the interlayer has a thickness of 10-100 μm, and the sealing layer has a thickness of 3-20 μm.
PACKAGING FOR STORING AND/OR COOKING A FOOD PRODUCT AND COVER THEREFOR
The present invention relates to a packaging for storing and/or cooking a food product, the packaging comprising a container for holding the food product, and a cover removably fastened to an upper rim of the container characterized in that the cover comprises a weakening line forming a spiral. Further aspects of the invention are the cover as well as the packaged food product.
Fusion Packaging
Disclosed herein are fusion packaging and fusion packages. A package includes a frame which provides structure, a sidewall fused to the frame, and a cap connected to one end of the frame. Another package includes a sleeve, a cap fused to one end of the sleeve, and a seal configured to be fused to a remaining end of the sleeve after filling with content. Another package includes a frame, a film fused to the frame, a cap connected to one end of the frame, and a seal connected to another end of the frame, where one of the cap and seal are connected to the frame after material placement. Sealed edges are formed at junctures between a frame, sleeve, or cap and a sidewall or film when frame, sleeve, or cap material embeds with sidewall or film material.
Method of transferring a plurality of containers and/or closures to a clean room, transport and packaging container and packaging structure therefore
A transport and packaging container for a plurality of pharmaceutical containers and a method for transferring the pharmaceutical containers from the transport and packaging containers into a clean room are provided. By placing a side wall of the transport and packaging container in close proximity to or in contact with the side wall of the clean room and by opening the side wall of the transport and packaging container and a transfer port door of the clean room, the pharmaceutical containers can be transferred into the inside space of the clean room via the access opening.
INK CARTRIDGE
An ink cartridge contains an outer package, an ink container within the outer package, and sheet bodies attached to an outer surface of the outer package, and is attachable to and detachable from a printing device. Small pieces are formed by cuts in the outer package. The small pieces include breakable sections, and the bendable sections. Sheet bodies cover a portion of the small pieces. Pressing on a small piece with a finger breaks the breakable section, and bends the bendable section to press them inside the outer package. A portion of the sheet body then shifts upwards so that the sheet body can be grasped with fingers and peeled away from the outer package. Disassembly and sorting of used cartridges in this way becomes easier.
Tabbed sealing member with improved heat distribution for a container
A tabbed seal as well as a method of manufacture is provided for sealing containers such as bottles, jars and the like. The tabbed seal is formed with a lower sheet-like structure having a non-foam, heat-distributing layer thereon.
PEEL-OPENABLE PACKAGE AND OPENING STRUCTURE FOR PEEL-OPENABLE PACKAGE
A peel-openable package includes a lid. The led includes a sheet member located at a position corresponding to a container portion of a package main body, and a film member bonded to a surface of the sheet member. Cutouts running in a thickness direction of the members and are formed in a peel region defined in a foldable portion of the members. The cutouts and cross a longitudinal direction L and are away from each other by a predetermined interval extending in the longitudinal direction. Facing surfaces of the sheet member and the film member, which are in the peel region corresponding to an area between the cutouts, are bonded together so as to be peelable from each other by an adhesive layer.
Lidding device
Embodiments of the present invention provide a three-panel lidding device used to seal a food container. Such devices are particularly useful for covering and sealing a plastic food container, eliminating (or diminishing) the need for an outer carton and the clear film membrane that traditionally covers a food container. The lidding device may contain all brand identifiers, product messaging, ingredient list, instructions (e.g., opening and cooking) printed directly on the device. The device may also allow for venting of the food container during cooking and may then be removed for serving. The device may further provide a foot panel that allows the food product container/lidding device to sit upright, enhancing store front and freezer display options.
SNAP CLOSE PEEL RESEAL PACKAGE
A package for the storage of food or other suitable products includes a tray and, optionally, a lidding film. The tray is thermoformed, molded, or otherwise shaped to provide a recessed portion and flange, the recessed portion defining a product-receiving cavity. The flange includes a frame portion surrounding the cavity and a margin portion disposed alongside the frame portion and, in some embodiments, extending substantially a full width of the tray. The optional lidding film attaches to both the frame and margin portions and typically seals the cavity. The margin portion and a side wall of the recessed portion may include locking features to allow the margin portion to snap close against the side wall. The package may then be made to stand on end with the margin portion acting as a base. The lidding film may include a peelable/sealable film to allow repeated access to the product while sealing the cavity between uses.
DUAL OPENING DISPENSING PACKAGE
A dual opening single use package for dispensing a thickened product wherein, in one position, the package can be squeezed to remove the thickened food product but also can be opened for full access to the thickened food product, such as for dipping french fries in ketchup.
