A planar structure formed from a plurality of folding portions which are interconnected by way of integral hinges and which are erectable to a functional position so as to form a three-dimensional body. A fixing arrangement is provided for mutually fixing the folding portions in the erected functional position. The folding portions are of triangular design such that the folding portions are erectable to form a supporting corner in the form of a triangular pyramid. The structure can be utilized in the cargo space of passenger motor vehicles.

A packaging box includes a body part, flaps and a buffer. The body part has a rectangular bottom plate and side plates erected from four sides of the bottom plate, and is provided with an opening at an upper face. The flaps are connected to upper edges of the side plates via fold lines to close the opening by being folded inside. The buffer is interposed between the body part and a packaged article. An edge and corner protector device is disclosed. The device includes a main body having a plurality of panels with one or more apertures, and one or more support members attached to the main body through the one or more apertures.

An edge protector that is configurable between first and second configurations. In a first configuration, the edge protector has a first side having a distal opening and a first bottom flap, a second side having a distal opening and a second bottom flap, and a divider portion between the first and second sides defining a proximal opening. The divider portion has a center fold line, a first side fold line spaced apart from a first side of the center fold line, and a second side fold line spaced apart from a second side of the center fold line. In a second configuration, the edge protector has a third side defined by folding the divider portion at the center fold line and interlocking the first and second bottom flaps.
