Configurable container
A configurable storage container system for storing items includes a tote, an insulated shell with a lid, and an insulated divider configured to divide the internal cavity of the tote into two sections. The insulated shell is configured for receiving the tote. The insulated shell includes a base and a plurality of side walls and is foldable between an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration such that the tote fits inside the insulated shell when the insulated shell is in the expanded configuration. The lid is configured for closing the tote inside the insulated shell when the insulated shell is in the expanded configuration.
Pallet Bag System
This invention relates to a pallet bag system for bags enclosing items, pallets loaded with bags containing items, and containers containing such loaded pallets.

Package for food and related method of packaging
A food package having a heat-sealed cover composed of a lower plastic film and an upper plastic film which is distinct and separate from the lower plastic film is disclosed. The upper and lower films are collapsible, i.e., they can be creased and crumpled into a ball without effort or folded as a tissue paper. The lower film and upper film are heat-sealed to each other at respective perimeter edges to define a closed, watertight internal housing filled with a modified atmosphere. A tray, configured to house the food product, is inserted in the closed internal housing but is not fixed to the upper or lower film. The food packaging described herein allows a substantial reduction of plastic compared to those currently on the market, while guaranteeing its mechanical rigidity, and the long-term quality of the product. A method for producing the packaging is also disclosed.
ORGANIC MEAT PACKAGING
The present disclosure describes methods and systems for packaging meat products, which may be organic, in low-oxygen preservation bags configured to extend the shelf-life of the meat. Packaging methods may involve placing a plurality of pre-proportioned organic meat products on a substrate and wrapping a film around the meat and substrate. The wrapped meat products may then be positioned in a bag containing ambient air. The ambient air may be purged from the bag using a first vacuum cycle, which may be followed by a second vacuum cycle. The method can also involve flushing the bag with a gas mixture after and/or between the vacuum cycles. The gas mixture may be comprised of nitrogen and/or carbon dioxide, but not carbon monoxide. The vacuumed, gas-flushed bags may then be sealed.
Apparatus and Process for Packaging Materials
A system for automatically sealing a plastic bag/enclosure over containers of biological materials carried on a pallet, comprising: a sealing system for automatically sealing a pallet bag enclosing a plurality of containers of biological materials wherein said pallet bag encloses the containers and an atmosphere surrounding the containers, the pallet bag optionally comprising at least one ACM and optionally including a reinforced portion. The pallet bag generally surrounds a number of flats or boxes on pallets containing fruits or vegetables that are sealed with or without a membrane to create an optimally suited atmosphere to control ripening, extend shelf-life, minimize microbial growth, maintain color, and maintain freshness.
Fruit packaging containers
Described herein are sealable, breathable bags for packaging, storing, and transporting fresh fruit in boxes. The bags protects the fruit from outside contaminants while maintaining a modified atmosphere environment around the fruit to preserve the freshness of the fruit. Furthermore, the bags are constructed in such a way that they have a flattened closed configuration and an fully opened configuration that allows them to efficiently fit into a generally cuboid, open-topped packaging box to be filled with fresh fruit and then seal around the fruit in the box, such as by sliding a slider across an upper closure of the bag.
Package and method for color retention of fresh meat
The package includes a plurality of food packages (16) continuing fresh meat food products (17). Each food package is vacuum packaged in a case ready package with a permeable film. The case ready package being sealed within a master pouch (12) having a modified atmosphere. The modified atmosphere having an elevated concentration of carbon monoxide. The fresh meat (17) being in the case ready package and not in direct contact with the modified atmosphere. The fresh meat (17) retaining acceptable color within the case ready package after being removed from the master pouch.
