The valve stem has an open top portion, a closed bottom portion, at least one primary radial opening, and a valve stem longitudinal passageway between the open top portion and the at least one primary radial opening. A conduit extends from the valve stem at an angle relative to the valve stem longitudinal passageway, proximate to the open top portion. The conduit provides a flowpath between the valve stem longitudinal passageway at a conduit first end and a dispensing opening at a conduit second end.

The actuator includes a dispensing flow path to direct fluent product from the valve to an exterior of the actuator via an exit orifice located at an end of the flow path, and a post defining a portion of the flow path, the post extending along and centered on a longitudinal axis and having an end face adjacent said exit orifice. The improvement includes a flow channel extending laterally across the end face of the post, the flow channel being symmetric about a lateral axis extending transverse to the longitudinal axis of the post, a portion of the flow channel directly communicating with said exit orifice to direct the fluent product from the flow channel into the exit orifice.

A product dispensing system includes a housing that has a sidewall with at least one communication element provided thereon. The sidewall has at least a first side and a second different side coupled to the first side, the first side and the second side each configured to extend below a bottom of a container coupled to the housing. A dispensing opening is provided on a first side of the sidewall. A switch controls an automatic dispensing sequence. The at least one communication element is configured to provide guidance as to how to set-up, hold, orient, spray, or otherwise use the product dispensing system, and the second different side of the sidewall is configured to accommodate a user's hand in an ergonomic manner.

The tilting valve comprises a sealing part that can be connected to the container and a valve nozzle interacting with the sealing part. The cap can be fastened on the container in the area of the tilting valve. The dispenser has a fastening area by means of which it can be fastened on the valve nozzle through a central opening of the cap. For easy mounting of the dispenser on the valve and for its actuation, provision is made for the inner area of the opening of the cap and the outer area of the fastening area of the dispenser to display positively interacting areas that, in tilted position of the dispenser relative to the container, create a positive fit opposing removal of the dispenser in the axial direction of the tilted position and detachment of the fastening area of the dispenser from the valve nozzle of the tilting valve.

An antiperspirant system which includes a water-based antiperspirant which feels comfortable on the skin and a capillary aerosol dispenser is disclosed. The antiperspirant system includes: a pressurized container (51) in which a water-based antiperspirant composition with one or more astringent active salts and a propellant are present, a valved outlet (41) on the surface of the container through which antiperspirant is ejected into an inlet port (111) of a capillary tube (11), a capillary tube (11) with one inlet port (111) and one exit port through which antiperspirant is dispensed from the system, and a coupling means (12) to closely couple the inlet port of the capillary tube (11) to the valved outlet (41) of the pressurized container (51). The void volume between the inlet port and the valved outlet is minimized, such that upon use of the antiperspirant system, the valved outlet, the capillary tube, and the void volume do not become obstructed by solid deposits of the astringent active salt.
