DISPENSING DEVICE FOR A FLUID DISPENSER
20180201434 · 2018-07-19 · ·

A dispensing device for a fluid dispenser has a housing, a dispensing mechanism and a dispensing nozzle which can be displaced parallel to a longitudinal extension of the dispensing device by means of the dispensing mechanism. A fluid container is connectable to the dispensing device of the fluid dispenser for the passage of fluid through the dispensing nozzle. The dispensing mechanism has an actuating handle which can be actuated substantially transversely to the longitudinal extension. The actuating handle comprises two actuating elements which are arranged opposite to one another in relation to the dispensing nozzle, wherein at least one actuating arm is assigned to each actuating element, the actuating arm extending on the inside of the actuating handle between the actuating element and an actuating surface of the dispensing nozzle, the actuating surface being formed perpendicularly to the longitudinal extension of the dispensing nozzle.

An Aerosol Fire Extinguisher with Trigger Sprayer that can be easily held in one hand that contains in one embodiment of the invention the fire extinguishing agent in a a bag under pressure in an aerosol can and can only be released by pulling the tab of the trigger assembly. In another embodiment of the invention the Aerosol Fire Extinguisher with Trigger Sprayer does not have a bag but utilizes traditional aerosol technology with unique gases. The trigger sprayer is open when the tab is pulled. The Aerosol Fire Extinguisher with trigger sprayer is cylindrical canister housing and a valve for directing the product flowing out of the can. Pulling the tab of the trigger assembly allows pivoting member of the trigger assembly to be able to press down on the stem of the mounting cup of the aerosol can which then allows the pressurized gas in the aerosol can to force the fire extinguishing liquid through the dip tube up through the direction hole into the direction chamber with pressure out the nozzle toward the fire. The user then sprays the fire with the extinguishing agent until the fire is out.

Spray inserts

According to a first aspect, a spray insert includes a sidewall and a first vane extending from the sidewall. The spray insert also includes an endwall including a discharge outlet. The spray insert further includes a first boss including a tip and a side to direct a fluid product toward a swirl chamber. The boss is disposed on the endwall and extends from the vane. The side has a point of inflection.

Modular spray cap

A spray cap (20; 300; 400; 600) for a spray can (22) has a body comprising: a sidewall (140) having a lower portion for mounting to a body of the spray can; and a button (36). The button has: an upper surface (164) for user engagement; a downwardly projecting sleeve (38) for receiving an outlet stem (240) of the can; and a forwardly-open compartment (42). An insert (34; 302) is within the compartment. A nozzle member (32) is mounted across the compartment to contain the insert within the compartment.

TEARABLE LOCK CLOSURE FOR FLUID DISPENSING CAPS

A fluid dispensing cap has a trigger vertically operable to actuate a valve. The cap has a window located below the trigger. The window defines a side edge and a bottom edge of the cap. A plate has a tab projecting therefrom. The plate also has a bottom surface with a channel. The plate is disposed in the window. A linking rib connects the plate to the side edge of the cap. The bottom edge is disposed in the channel. Movement of the trigger to actuate the valve is prevented until the plate and tab are affirmatively removed.

Dispensing head for a cosmetic product, associated device and method

Provided is a head having an actuating and product dispensing mechanism (30), which includes a coupling part, at least one product dispensing conduit (44), supported by the coupling part; a maneuvering lever (46), rotatably mounted on a pivot axis. A protective cap (32) is provided covering the actuating and dispensing mechanism (30), the protective cap (32) having the pivot axis situated outside the dispensing conduit (44), between the movement axis (A-A) and the dispensing opening (70).

Dispensing system

A method of dispensing includes the steps of exerting a force on an actuator of a dispenser having a conduit with an inlet and an outlet in a first non-actuation state, to place the actuator in a second actuation state. When the actuator is in the second actuation state, the inlet and the outlet of the actuator are moved from a first position to a second position.

AEROSOL ACTUATORS, DEVICES AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME

Aerosol actuation mechanisms include improvements allowing a user to extend the reach of an aerosol application device, apply an aerosol in a windy environment, improve coverage of the aerosol product, or facilitate improved ability to ensure coverage for an aerosol product.
