AEROSOL ACTUATORS
An aerosol actuator which may be connected to a container to form an aerosol delivery systems or package wherein the aerosol includes two parts: a base and a trigger, the trigger including an integrated cap for the base, trigger, spring or living hinge, manifold and orifice.
Sprayhead for a spray device
A sprayhead for use with an aerosol container, the sprayhead including a chassis capable of firm attachment to the container; a rotatable circular collar; a spray channel and associated actuator button; and an over-cap; the rotatable circular collar being rotatable between a first and second position, wherein, when the rotatable circular collar is in the first position, a holding feature of the rotatable circular collar interacts with a holding feature of the chassis and wherein the rotatable circular collar further includes a projection that interacts with a non-rotating feature of the overcap to produce an audible signal when the rotatable circular collar is rotated between its first and second position.
SINGLE PIECE ACTUATOR WITH SLIDER LOCK
An actuator has a slidable body that is slidable between a first position in which the actuation of a valve is blocked by the slidable body and a second position in which the valve can be actuated. The actuator, together with the slidable body, is formed as one piece. In an initial state, the actuator and the slidable body are connected by gates that are frangible. A tether can connect the actuator to the slidable body so that after the gates are fractured, the actuator, together with the slidable body, is still one piece.
BASE FOR CONTAINER OF A VISCOUS PRODUCT AND A PROPELLANT
A method and apparatus for storing and dispensing a viscous product. The product and a propellant are stored in a container on a base, and the propellant forms a head space. In a storage configuration, the container rests on the base, the base rests on a surface, and the propellant in the head space and the product tend to move toward positions wherein the propellant in the head space is at a higher elevation than the product and the product is at a higher elevation than an inlet to a dispenser. In one aspect, the base comprises a first portion, a second portion comprising a lid, a sidewall comprising a window, and an interior. In a second aspect, the method comprises storing the container in the storage configuration, removing the lid to expose a dispenser, dispensing the product, and viewing an interior of the base through the window.
Apparatus and Method for Releasing a Unit Dose of Content from a Container
An apparatus for delivering a predetermined quantity of content from a pressurized container includes a dispensing assembly which sits on the container and connects with an upper portion of a valve stem of the valve assembly, wherein the dispensing assembly includes a) an actuator cap having a discharge passage, which is open or obstructed and wherein the actuator cap acts as a metering chamber in combination with b) an adaptor which fits inside the cap and also snuggly engages the valve stem. The cap fits snuggly over the adjuster to define a metering chamber which depending on its position can close off the metered chamber or open it to the dispensing conduit nozzle. When the cap is depressed it pushes down on the adjuster which depresses the valve. The chamber fills, but nothing is released until the upstroke.
AEROSOL DISPENSING DEVICES
A multidirectional aerosol dispensing device and methods of utilizing the device in a variety of positions, including an inverted position, to dispense an aerosol product. The device may include an aerosol container, an undercap, and an actuator. An aerosol valve may be located at a bottom portion of the aerosol container. The aerosol valve may have a valve stem for displacing the aerosol valve from a biased closed position to an open position upon a movement of the valve stem to discharge the aerosol product from the valve stem. The undercap may be mounted to the aerosol container with the top portion of the undercap being adjacent to the bottom portion of the aerosol container. The bottom portion of the undercap may terminate in a base surface for supporting the device on a supporting surface to store the aerosol dispensing device in an inverted position.
Dispensing adaptor for one-component polyurethane foam
A dispensing adaptor for one-component polyurethane foam, which is coupled to a valve stem of a polyurethane pressurized container, the dispensing adaptor including: a tubular main adaptor body coupled to the valve stem and introducing polyurethane foam out of the pressurized container; a stem coupling portion formed at one end portion of the adaptor main body and coupled to and communicating with the valve stem; a discharging pipe extended from the other end portion of the adaptor main body; a stationary lever formed integrally with and extended from an outer wall of the adaptor main body; and an extended lever curvedly extended from the stationary lever along a lengthwise direction of the pressurized container, and making the valve stem be inclined to open with respect to an axial direction.
Aerosol Freeze Formulation and Delivery System
An environmentally safer aerosol freeze spray formulation and delivery system that is under pressure in an aerosol can and can only be released by pulling the trigger of the trigger sprayer by a finger or fingers. The trigger sprayer unit cannot be sprayed until the tab is pulled. The can is cylindrical canister housing and has a dip tube that goes into the can into the freeze spray. The freeze spray formulation in the can travels up through the dip tube up to the trigger sprayer and out a nozzle in which is cold and will flow out as an mist when the trigger is depressed.
Dispenser assembly for aerosol container
The dispenser assembly for an aerosol container includes a fixing plate 10 mounted to an aerosol container 2 that has two stems 6, a nozzle 40 for discharging the contents via two connection parts 47 that respectively lead to the stems 6 and via one discharge tube 42, and a cover member covering the nozzle 40 and held by engagement with the fixing plate 10. The cover member includes a lower cover 20 having a first engaging piece 25, and an upper cover 30 having a second engaging piece 33. The lower cover 20 has a pressing portion 26 that is supported via a hinge ha and pushes on the second engaging piece 33 to disengage the second engaging piece from the second engaging hole 27.
