CIGARETTE PACK COMPRISING AN RFID/NFC TAG
A cigarette pack (1) comprising a box body (2); an inner wrapper (15), comprising an aluminium layer, is arranged on the inside of the box body (2); a lid (8) connected to the box body by a hinge (9) and capable of opening and closing the upper end of the box body, the lid having an open lower end (10), front wall (11), a rear wall (12), a pair if side walls (18) and a top wall (13, 14) having an outside (13) and an inside (14), which inside (14) faces against the open upper end (3) and the inner wrapper (15) when the lid is in a closed position; an RFID/NFC tag (16) and a distance layer (20), which is arranged on the inside and that the RFID/NFC tag is arranged on the distance layer. The distance layer forces the RFID/NFC tag close to the wrapping material.
Wrapper for tobacco industry products
A wrapper for a group of tobacco industry products is disclosed. The wrapper has a barrier material arranged to extend over an edge of a bundle after the barrier material is wrapped around a group of tobacco industry products to form the bundle. A tab is arranged such that pulling the tab forms an extraction opening that extends over the edge of the bundle. Wherein, prior to pulling the tab for the first time, at least a part of the barrier material is unbroken across the edge.
PACKAGE WRAPPING INCLUDING PLA FILM WITH MOISTURE BARRIER BY ATOMIC LAYER DEPOSITION
Provided herein is a moisture barrier film for packaging, such as tobacco or cigarette packaging. The film comprises polylactic acid (PLA) that is both biodegradable and transparent. The film includes multiple layers of PLA, with a base layer having a relatively high melting point compared to two outer layers, which have a relatively low melting point. The outer layers provide heat sealing capabilities to the film. The film is coated with a metal oxide layer comprised of aluminum oxide, titanium oxide, and/or aluminum-titanium oxide using an atomic layer deposition (ALD) coating method. The ALD coating to the PLA film results in a moisture transmission rate of less than 4 g/m2/day after the film has been subjected to creasing, which induces cracking of the ALD metal oxide layer.
RIGID PACKAGE FOR SMOKING ARTICLES
Package for smoking articles having: a group of smoking articles; an outer container having an open top end; a lid hinged to the outer container to close the open top end; a collar which is glued on the inside of the outer container so as to partially project outwards from the open top end and has a through pull-out opening, through which the smoking articles can be pulled out; and a sealing flap, which is glued to the collar, is arranged on the outside of the collar and on top of the collar itself, covers, at least when the lid is in the closed position, the pull-out opening, and is provided with a connecting tab which is permanently and non-removably glued to a front wall of the lid by means of a permanent glue so that the opening and closing of the lid also simultaneously opens and closes the pull-out opening.

Wrapper for tobacco industry products
A wrapper for a group of tobacco industry products is disclosed. The wrapper has a barrier material and a tab arranged such that pulling the tab separates a section of the barrier material from the remainder of the barrier material to form an extraction opening. The barrier material has a cut arranged such that when the tab is pulled the barrier material is torn along a path extending from the cut to form the extraction opening in the barrier material.
Product and package including power producer and output mechanism, and related method
A product including a package is provided. One or more tobacco-containing articles may be received in the package. A power producer may be configured to produce an electrical current. An output mechanism may be configured to receive the electrical current from the power producer and output a perceptible effect. The perceptible effect may, for example, increase a consumer's interest in the product. A related method is also provided.
BOX-IN-BOX CONTAINER
A box blank useful for forming a container includes a first layer comprising paperboard, a second layer comprising a paper layer and a foil layer, and an adhesive layer adhering the first layer to the second layer, wherein the foil layer is between the paperboard and the paper layer.
MOISTURE BARRIER COATED TOBACCO PRODUCT PACKAGING
Provided herein is a cigarette pack formed of a moisture barrier coated paper material. The paper material includes a base substrate, a first polymer coating, a second polymer coating, and a third polymer coating. The first polymer coating, the second polymer coating, and the third polymer coating provide a barrier for moisture and air exchange through the paper material. The first polymer coating, the second polymer coating, and the third polymer coating also provide heat and pressure sealability capabilities to the paper material.
RECLOSABLE CONTAINER
A reclosable container for consumer items includes a box, a lid hingedly connected to the box, an inner liner wrapped around the consumer items, the inner liner including a section defining an opening for allowing access to the consumer items, means to open and reclose the opening, and an inner frame attached to the box. The inner frame includes a free inner frame portion protruding from the box towards the opening in the inner liner. The free inner frame portion includes a cut out and the inner frame is attached to the inner liner proximate to the cut out.
