Cylindrical vessel for low pressure storage of perishable goods fabricated from neat or reinforced plastics
A vacuum container for containing perishable items in controlled, reduced pressure, atmospheric conditions is provided. The vacuum container includes a section of generally cylindrical pipe open at both ends and formed of a plastic material. A first end cap is detachably secured to one end of the pipe to form a vacuum resistant seal between the first end cap and the pipe. A second end cap detachably secured to the other end of the pipe to form a vacuum resistant seal between the second end cap and the other end of the pipe. Preferably, the pipe and end caps are all formed of a plastic material capable of withstanding the pressures created when a high vacuum is formed in the chamber.
METAL PALLET
A sheet metal pallet assembly includes a deck and an undercarriage. The deck is reinforced about its outer edges by longitudinal and transverse perimeter girding. The deck is further reinforced by one or more transverse reinforcement ribs and interior longitudinal girding. The undercarriage is composed of left and right fork tube risers joined together by bridges. The fork tube risers are configured to receive the tines of a forklift. Each fork tube riser has inner and a outer legs, each splayed at an a respective angle. Preferably, the splay angle of the outer leg is greater than the splay angle of the inner leg. The ends of each fork tube riser are folded over with a hem to improve strength and present a blunt edge. The undercarriage may, optionally, be fabricated from a single monolithic piece of sheet metal.
SHIPPING PALLET AND/OR DECK USEFUL FOR SUCH
A single deck pallet comprising a deck having a top for supporting a load and a bottom, at least four sides, the at least four sides comprising a first pair of opposed sides and a second pair of opposed sides. A plurality of intermediate spaced apart beams of the deck extending between (and preferably to) at least a first pair of opposed sides. A plurality of distributed primary props dependent from the deck and projecting below the bottom of the deck to aid in supporting the pallet on a surface. At least one beam extends between adjacent primary props and the primary props are horizontally spaced apart from each other and from said at least one beam so as to allow a tine of a forklift to pass in a linear direction parallel to the at least one beam between adjacent primary props to reach at least partially under and bear on the bottom of the deck and bear on the at least one beam.
Pallet having panels and tube segments
The invention relates to a pallet (1) comprising parallel panels (11, 12), a layer (13) arranged between the panels (11, 12) and formed by at least one spacer (18), having a respective first strip (15a) and a plurality of tube segments (14), wherein the tube segments (14) have two respective cut ends (141, 142) and two respective cut surfaces (143, 144), wherein the tube segments (14) are mechanically connected to the first strip (15a) by their cut ends (141, 142), and mechanically connected to the panels (11, 12) by their cut surfaces (143, 144), wherein the tube segments (14) of the at least one spacer (18) have two respective lateral elements (146) and a cover element (147) mechanically connected to the lateral elements (146), wherein the lateral elements (146) form a first internal angle () of 95 to 120 with the cover element (147).

Pallet
A pallet comprising a cover element (12) having a load bearing surface and a bottom surface being opposite the load bearing surface (11), and foot elements (10), each having a foot surface (15) being parallel with the bottom surface, and side walls (17) connecting the foot surface (15) and the bottom surface, the foot elements (10) being connected to the bottom surface (13), wherein the side walls (17) facing to each other of adjacent foot elements (10) being parallel with each other. The pallet further comprising a central stiffening element being supported against the side walls (17) facing to each other of adjacent foot elements (10) and being abutted against the bottom surface of the cover element (12), and the cover element (12) and the foot elements (10) being made from foldable sheet material.
MODULAR REUSABLE SHIPPING CRATE
A system, method, and device for shipping, transporting, storing, and managing logistics of a variety of cargo. A crate is disclosed that allows for easy and inexpensive return shipment (reverse logistics) after use through a collapsible, interlocking system of a pallet base, foldable side wall assemblies, and a lid that can be removably connected to one another. The crate can utilize guide protrusions and corresponding guide recesses to fit the components together. The height of the crate can be increased by additional tiers of side walls. Latch assemblies can be utilized to fasten adjacent components together. The crate may include a tracking or monitoring device that can monitor one or more of humidity, temperature, tilt, impact, vibration, and variety of desired conditions. The system may include Bluetooth beacons on each of the components and a Bluetooth sensor in the monitoring device in the pallet base to monitor disassembled components.
PIPE COIL SKID WITH SIDE RAILS AND METHOD OF USE
A pipe coil skid includes a plurality of beams affixably connected together to form a rectangular shaped base and a platform disposed within the base. The platform has a concave upward shape on its upward facing side when the skid sits on a horizontal surface, such that a coil of pipe positioned upon the platform contacts the platform within the base. The pipe coil skid also includes a first side rail coupled to at least one of the plurality of beams. The first side rail is configured to block movement of the coil of pipe beyond a boundary of the rectangular shaped base.
MOLDED CONTAINER ASSEMBLY
A molded container assembly includes a pallet, a molded container, and a plurality of connection systems. The pallet supports the molded container thereon and includes stacking alignment structure for stacking the pallet on another molded container assembly. The molded container includes a tank portion, several leg supports, several buttresses, and several horizontally extending ribs. The tank portion includes several curved sidewalls and a fill opening. The leg supports include lower and upper sections that extend above the fill opening for spacing a pallet stacked on top of the molded container above the fill opening. The upper sections include pallet engaging structure for engaging pallets of at least two different types. The horizontally extending ribs minimize outward deflection due to hydrostatic loading and/or pressurization. The connection systems include washers that allow for shrinkage and expansion between the molded container and the pallet in a number of directions.
MOVING PRODUCT USING SELF-STABILIZING PLATFORM ASSEMBLY
Methods are presented which include moving a self-stabilizing platform assembly with product disposed on a deck of the self-stabilizing platform assembly. The self-stabilizing platform assembly includes multiple torque-generating devices, a stability control system to control operation of the multiple torque-generating devices, and the deck to support the product being moved. The methods also include adjusting, by the stability control system, operation of one or more torque-generating devices of the multiple torque-generating devices to produce during the moving a stabilization torque within the self-stabilizing platform assembly to facilitate stabilizing the self-stabilizing platform assembly and product during moving of the self-stabilizing platform assembly and product.
