PALLET ASSEMBLY AND COMPONENTS THEREOF UTILIZING RECYCLED MATERIALS
A pallet assembly is disclosed, comprising extruded or pultruded lineal components with a composition including various recycled plastics, polymers, and metals. The assembly includes a lineal engagement stringer, a lineal stringer with a top wall and internal screw boss, and a lineal slat with a leg designed to fit into slots on the top wall of the lineal stringer. The components are made from materials such as low-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polychlorotrifluoroethylene, polyamide, polyethylene terephthalate, or rolled metals or alloys, providing a durable and versatile pallet solution for various applications.
Shipping pallet apparatus and method
Shipping pallets 10 that may be constructed, at least in part, from structural members 100 that are largely fabricated from paper and paper based materials are disclosed. One or more of the structural members 100 may include a wrapper 60 secured in tension to a core 20. The core 20 may include one or more laminated fiberboard sheets 40. Because of the use of paper and paper based materials, the one or more aspects of shipping pallets 10 in accordance with the present inventions may be recycled.
TANK SUPPORT BASE
A tank support base and skid apparatus provides a frame having upper and lower end portions, left and right side portions and front and rear portions. The upper end portion has a front row of tank receptive supports and a back row of tank receptive supports. A frame floor is spaced vertically below the tank receptive support. The frame has a peripheral fluid barrier that includes a front wall, a rear wall and side walls that form the fluid barrier around the floor, each side wall extending from the floor to a tank receptive support. First and second internal support members span from one side of the frame to the other side of the frame and each spaced between the front wall and the rear wall. Each tank receptive support includes horizontal beams that span from the front wall to the rear wall and supported by the internal support members vertical members that each connect with a horizontal beam. Inclined plates each connect to both a horizontal beam and a vertical member. Stops mounted on the beams separate a tank receptive support of the first row with a tank receptive support of the back row.
PALLET AND METHOD OF MAKING A PALLET
A method of making a pallet (10, 210) includes providing a pallet inner core (16, 218), and attaching, by adhesive, first and second complementarily shaped plastic skin shells (12, 14, 226) to portions of the core, and interconnecting the shells by heat fusing or interlocking elements. Each shells is formed of two plastic materials. The core is formed with reinforcing truss beams (700) therein, each having an upper chord part (710) which is flush with an upper surface of the core and in contact with the upper shell or adhesive. Each beam has webs (708) connected to chords, straight central portions (702) and end portions (704) extending downwardly into leg portions of the pallet. Also disclosed is a pallet having such features.
Reinforced foot for agricultural commodity bin
Disclosed are structures for protecting the lower corners of containers used for storing and shipping agricultural commodities, and related methods of use. More particularly, removable reinforced feet or toes for protecting the lower corners of agricultural commodity bins are disclosed. The reinforced feet or toes are resistant to damage and may be easily removed, repaired and replaced. In embodiments of the invention, the feet or toes are provided with one or more removable reinforcement structures that may be removed and replaced by new structures when worn or damaged, without requiring removal of the feet or toes themselves.
PALLET ASSEMBLY
A pallet includes fire retardant coatings to improve the overall fire performance of the pallet. First, the coatings may be used in combination with fire retardant additives in the plastic material of the pallet in order to reduce the amount of additives, thereby reducing cost and improving the structural performance of the pallet. Alternatively or additionally, the fire retardant coatings may be placed inside the pallet. This eliminates the chance that the fire retardant coating will get worn off during use. For example, the coating could be placed between the reinforcement sheet and the deck or runners, within the columns, etc.
HEAVY LOAD CARRIER
The invention relates to a heavy load carrier comprising plastics material and including a base part, comprising a number of feet and four side walls, wherein the side walls have positioning surfaces for receiving the feet of an identically designed heavy load carrier in a stack, wherein the positioning surfaces are arranged in a recessed state in relation to protrusions of the side walls, and wherein the protrusions at least partially surround the feet of an identically designed heavy load carrier in the stack circumferentially, wherein a first protrusion may at least partially surround a foot of the identically configured heavy load carrier in the stack on the inside of the foot, and a second protrusion may at least partially surround the foot of an identically configured heavy load carrier in the stack on the end side of the foot.
Pallet with impact resistant and strengthened composite legs
A pallet includes a deck and one or more leg-plank bridges that extend from the deck. The leg-plank bridges include one or more legs and a plank that extends between the legs. The legs and plank are integrally formed together and attached to the deck. The legs have one or more internal walls that define one or more cavities. Concrete fills the cavities of the legs located on a lead end of the pallet. The remaining cavities in the legs are filled with foam. The cavities in one version are wedge shaped. Other legs of the deck are filled entirely with foam.
Assembled plastic pallet
An assembled plastic pallet is provided in the disclosure, which includes a panel and a plurality of support legs detachably arranged at a lower side of the panel. A metal reinforcement is embedded in the panel, each of the plurality of support legs is in a cuboid, four sides of each of the plurality of support legs is recessed inward to form a first groove, four sides of each of the plurality of support legs is formed with a reinforcing rib, and the reinforcing rib is smoothly transitioned to a bottom of the first groove with an arc. An assembled plastic pallet provided in this disclosure can be freely assembled as required and has high bearing capacity.
