A recyclable cardboard pallet is described herein. The pallet includes a top platform and a bottom platform formed by at least one layer of laminar components, wherein at least one of the layers of laminar components of each platform has openings, fastening components, and a frustoconical shape for inserting separators. The separators include outer tubular bodies with an inner diameter that is greater than or equal to a largest diameter of the openings, such that ends of the outer tubular body rest completely on the laminar elements between which it is located. The separators further include an inner tubular body concentric with and longer than the outer tubular body, the inner tubular body having an outer diameter configured relative to a smallest diameter of the openings, such that the outer diameter of the inner tubular body fits flush with laminar elements between which it is located.

A pallet system with a reusable metal pallet base and a reusable collapsible corrugated carton or box. The pallet has a rectangular outer perimeter frame and a rectangular inner perimeter frame located inside the rectangular outer perimeter frame. A lightweight pallet assembly comprising a hybrid of durable corrugated material and heat-treated wood bonded with industrial strength adhesive. The pallet is constructed of one or more base components, two or more support components and a sleeve component. The sleeve component substantially covers both the one or more base components and the two or more support components to increase strength and durability of the overall pallet assembly. Embodiments of the pallet can be quickly assembled from components that can be easily and economically stored and transported. The lightweight pallet provides savings in assembly, transportation, and storage.

The invention relates to a composite sandwich base panel for a Unit Load Device. The panel comprises an upper surface layer comprising fibre reinforcement material, a lower surface layer comprising fibre reinforcement material, and a central core section where at least the majority comprises a plurality of particles bound in a matrix material. The upper surface layer and lower surface layer are provided with a matrix material to bind them to the central core section.

The invention relates to a collapsible ring made of several side walls (15, 16) for a transportation container (11), which is positioned to stand on a palette base (12) of a transportation palette (13) and surrounds an interior (19) delimited by the side walls (15, 16), and at least one intermediate base (31) that can be arranged in the ring (14) in a usage position (32) and having at least one releasable connection (34) formed between the side wall (15, 16) and the intermediate base (31), said connection being formed by at least one holding element (36), wherein adjacent and/or opposing side walls (15, 16) are held by the releasable connection (34) at a distance to the intermediate base (31), and the intermediate base (31) is simultaneously positioned by the releasable connection (34) to the usage position (32) in relation to the adjacent side wall.

A twin-sheet, thermoformed pallet is configured with a bottom-opening recess shaped to receive and hold in place a signal transmitting device. The recess has undercuts that allow the device to be snapped in and held against the floor of the recess and well above the bottom surface of the pallet body. The recess is provided with access for a tool to pry the device out for replacement or servicing.
