LOGISTICS SYSTEM
A novel logistics system (1000) featuring a load carrier (100) and a cooperating superstructure (200) is proposed for transporting parcels. The load carrier has a deck (110) with a top load carrying surface (111) and a flank (112). The load carrier also has a plurality of locking protuberances (114) that extend from and are arranged spaced apart from one another on the load carrying surface (111) of the deck (110). The superstructure is a merchandising unit that is made of sheet material. The superstructure has first section (230) which is configured to extend from the load carrying surface (111) of the load carrier (100). The superstructure also has a plurality of receptive cavities (221) for receiving the respective plurality of locking protuberances (114) of the load carrier (100).
Workpiece storage device and workpiece loading method
A first plate-like member on a bottom surface side is disposed in a horizontal direction. A second plate-like member is disposed in a vertical direction. A first position restricting mechanism is engaged with a first end portion including a first side that opposes the first plate-like member in a workpiece in a state where the workpiece stands while a front surface and a rear surface of the plate-like workpiece are along a vertical direction, and restricts the position of the first end portion in a plate thickness direction. A second position restricting mechanism is engaged with a second end portion including a second side that opposes the second plate-like member in the workpiece, and restricts the position of the second end portion in the plate thickness direction.
Storage and transportation radome container
A storage and transportation container for a radome of an aircraft is disclosed having a top wall, and bottom wall that are planar and parallel to one another, and a peripheral wall, wherein the top, bottom, and peripheral walls form an enclosure for supporting the radome within the container. The top wall has a closed curved outline and a surface of a dimension greater than that of the bottom wall having an outline which forms a parallelogram thus making it possible to receive the radome with its curved nose pointing downwards, and wherein the geometry of the container is matched to the form of the radome and of the hold.
Securing device
A securing device includes a base and a sheet placed on the base. The sheet includes a hole. A securing support is disposed opposite the hole of the sheet. A coupler secures the sheet to the base through the securing support. The securing support includes a contact face that contacts the coupler. The contact face includes a notch through which the securing support is removed from the coupler to separate the base from the sheet without removing the coupler.
PALLET COVER AND TRANSPORT CONTAINER
A pallet cover and transport container includes a container body having a top end, a plurality of side walls, and an interior space. The bottom end of the container is open to the interior space and includes complementary dimensions to a shipping pallet. A first plurality of grooves are disposed along the bottom end of the side walls at locations complementary to the side channels of the shipping pallet. Connectors are disposed along the side walls to removably secure the container to a pallet. The connectors including a sliding shaft having an aperture for receiving a lock. A second plurality of grooves are disposed along the closed top end of the container body to allow the container to be used while inverted and transported by a forklift.
STACKABLE BULK CONTAINER
A stackable container system is configured to provide stacked receptacles for receiving bulk material therein. The stackable container system includes a first receptacle configured to provide a respective stacked receptacle. The first receptacle includes a receptable bottom, a receptable top, and a receptacle side extending along an upright container axis between the receptacle bottom and top, with the first receptacle presenting a container chamber. The receptacle top is configured to at least partly support another one of the stacked receptacles stacked relative thereto along the upright container axis. The receptacle top and the receptacle side have, respectively, a top peripheral margin and a side peripheral margin that extend laterally about the upright container axis, with at least part of the top peripheral margin being laterally outboard of the side peripheral margin. At least part of the top peripheral margin is interconnected to the side peripheral margin along a transition section that extends laterally between the receptacle top and the receptacle side.
BULK CONTAINER WITH BOTTOM CONFIGURED FOR DRAINAGE
A container includes a receptacle including an upright receptacle side and a receptacle bottom that cooperate to at least partly define a container chamber. The bottom presents a peripheral margin, with the side being attached to the bottom along the peripheral margin and extending upwardly relative to the bottom along an upright container axis. The receptacle further includes a drain configured to permit material flow out of the chamber, with the drain intersecting the bottom to define a drain opening that fluidly communicates with the chamber. The drain opening is spaced inboard from the peripheral margin and is laterally offset from the container axis in an offset direction. The bottom includes first and second floor sections extending inboard from the peripheral margin and joined relative to each other along a first gutter area adjacent the drain opening. The first floor section slopes downwardly toward the first gutter area in the offset direction and the second floor section slopes downwardly toward the first gutter area in a direction opposite the offset direction, with the floor sections configured to cooperatively advance material within the chamber toward the drain opening.
BULK CONTAINER WITH QUICK-COUPLE LID
A container is configured to receive bulk material therein and to experience a pressure differential for which an internal container pressure is greater than ambient pressure. The container includes a receptacle and a removable lid. The receptacle defines a chamber to receive material. The receptacle includes a fill neck that defines a receptacle opening in fluid communication with the chamber. The lid covers the receptacle opening in an engaged condition to enclose the chamber. The receptacle includes a receptacle connector with spaced apart connector teeth, and the lid includes a lid connector with spaced apart connector lugs. The receptacle connector and the lid connector cooperatively providing a fractional-turn connection where the connector teeth and lugs are rotatable into and out of engagement with one another in the engaged condition to restrict lid separation from the fill neck associated with the pressure differential.
Pallet box
A system is provided comprising a box with four bottom flaps, at least four durable pegs projecting from exterior surfaces of two opposing bottom flaps, the pegs positioned to function as a built-in pallet structure for the box, adhesive strips on interior surfaces of the two opposing bottom flaps to promote closure of the bottom flaps, four top flaps, interior surfaces of two opposing top flaps containing protected adhesive strips to promote closure of the top flaps, and wax paper covering the adhesive strips prior to use of the strips. The pegs are constructed from the same material as the box. Material comprising the pegs is denser than material comprising the box. The denser concentration of the peg material enables the pegs to sustain weight of the box and contained items. The pegs are positioned on the opposing bottom flaps.
MOLDED CONTAINER ASSEMBLY CONNECTION SYSTEM
A molded container assembly including a pallet, a molded container, and a plurality of connection systems. The pallet supports the molded container thereon and includes stacking alignment structure for stacking the pallet on another molded container assembly. The molded container includes a tank portion, several leg supports, and several buttresses. The tank portion includes several curved sidewalls and a fill opening. The leg supports include lower sections and upper sections that extend above the fill opening for spacing a pallet stacked on top of the molded container above the fill opening. The upper sections include pallet engaging structure for engaging pallets of at least two different types. The buttresses extend between the tank portion and the leg supports. The connection systems include washers that allow for shrinkage and expansion between the molded container and the pallet in a number of directions.
