The product support surface has grommet openings extending therethrough, with each grommet opening including a recessed shelf. Grommets are inserted into the grommet openings. Each grommet includes an upper section comprising an upper lip resting on the recessed shelf, and an outer exposed surface of the upper section extends in height above the top deck. Pallet support legs are coupled to the underside of the top deck and are aligned with the grommets. Each pallet support leg includes a base extending across a width of the top deck. An underside of the base is configured to engage the upper sections of the grommets of an identical pallet when stacked thereon.

The equipment base can include a first coated substrate including a first part having a first thickness sized to provide the load-bearing support for the equipment, a first elastomer coating the first part, a second coated substrate positioned adjacent to the first coated substrate, the second coated substrate including a second part having a second thickness sized to provide the load-bearing support for the equipment, and a second elastomer coating the second part. A first seam can be formed between the first and second coated substrates to allow for moisture to pass between the first and second coated substrates so that moisture is allowed to seep away from the bottom of the equipment.

A modular pallet for use in supporting and transporting goods. The modular pallet comprises a plurality of hollow legs integral to an inner side of the sidewall and a plurality of interlocking means integral to an outer side of the sidewall for coupling other modular pallets laterally, wherein each of the hollow legs comprises a top opening aligned with the top surface of the pallet and a bottom opening further away from the bottom surface of the pallet, and a top groove along a peripheral edge of the top opening and a bottom groove along a circumference of the hollow leg adjacent to the bottom surface. A multilayer support structure comprises at least two layers of the modular pallets separated by a plurality of hollow support columns for being positioned under the ground to support a hardscape/softscape disposed thereon while enable for tree roots growth, water drainage and storage of utilities.

Each module includes a folding sheet and a fixing element and provides a respective segment of the upper surface of the base body. The base body has exactly four modules, where each module has exactly four feet arranged spaced apart from one another, where each of which has foot lateral surfaces around a respective hollow space, and where each side has a respective lateral surface which is formed from the foot lateral surfaces of two respective feet, where the foot lateral surfaces, which form opposing lateral surfaces of modules connected to one another, rest flat against one another.
