The first supporting member and the second supporting member are movably connected to the pallet body. The first supporting member and the second supporting member protrude from the pallet body to provide support for preventing the pallet body acted by an external force from falling over when the at least one supporting module is located at a first position relative to the pallet body, and the first supporting member and the second supporting member are received inside the at least one chamber when the at least one supporting module is located at a second position relative to the pallet body.
TRANSPORT PACKAGING FOR PACKAGING HAZARDOUS MATERIALS
A method for packaging articles to be transported is provided comprising a) preparing at least one pallet comprising a base plate, which base plate forms an even plate-shaped element; b) placing the articles to be transported onto the base plate; c) providing a transport box that's open toward the base plate in an inverted orientation over the articles, wherein the transport box is placed on the base plate so that the transport box and base plate together form an interior of the transport packaging unit, wherein the transport box comprises an opening that's closable by folding flaps on a side opposite the base plate, wherein the transport box closes off flush with the pallet; and d) fixing the transport box on the base plate with at least one packing strip, wherein the transport box is pressed onto the base plate by said at least one packing strip.
Transport packaging for packaging hazardous materials
Disclosed is a transport packaging unit for packaging articles to be transported, in particular hazardous materials. The transport packaging unit comprises the following: a pallet with a base plate, wherein the articles to be transported are receivable on the base plate; a transport box which is open toward the base plate, wherein the transport box rests on the base plate and together with the base plate forms an interior of the transport packaging unit which receives the articles to be transported,
wherein the transport box is fixed on the base plate by means of at least one fastening element, preferably by means of at least one packing strip.
Collapsible packaging sleeve for attaching to a base and container formed therefrom
The present invention provides a packaging sleeve that can be attached to a base, such as a pallet, to form a container. The container can be used for the shipping and/or storage of goods. The packaging sleeve comprises latching members by which the packaging sleeve may be securably attached to the base in a manner of seconds. The present invention also provides a collapsible packaging sleeve having four panels, each panel being hingedly connected to two adjacent panels by non-metallic hinges. By operation of the non-metallic hinges, the box can be collapsed such that the packaging sleeve lays substantially flat, rendering it suitable for easy, out of the way storage and enhancing warehouse efficiency. The non-metallic hinges are designed to have a long life span and to be operable with panels having various dimensions.
SIDE WALL ARRANGEMENT FOR A CONTAINER AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF AND CONTAINER HAVING SUCH A SIDE WALL ARRANGEMENT
The invention relates to a side wall arrangement for a container and a method for the production thereof and a container, in particular a pallet container, which comprises several side walls (16) that can be connected to one another on their narrow sides assigned to one another of the side walls (16) by means of a joint (18) or are connected to one another, such that a closed ring (14) is formed from the side walls (16) that can be folded together, wherein a loading hatch (19) is provided on the at least one side wall (16), said loading hatch (19) closing an opening (27) in a closed position (22), said opening (27) being open towards an end edge (37) of the side wall (16), and wherein the loading hatch (19) is flexibly connected to the side wall (16) by means of a hinge (21), wherein side edges (42) of the loading hatch (19) which border it in terms of width and side edges (43) of the side wall (16) which border the opening (27) in the side wall (16) are reduced in terms of wall thickness relative to its adjacent wall sections (28, 29) of the side wall (16) and the loading hatch (19) on at least one side edge (43) of the side wall (16) or at least one side edge (42) of the loading hatch (19), at least one tab (31) is provided which extends beyond the opposite side edge (42, 43) of the loading hatch (19) or the side wall (16) and can be transferred into the open position (23) or closed position (22) when opening and closing the loading hatch (19) after overcoming a holding force produced by the tab (31) or after overcoming a holding force produced by corner regions (51) of the side wall (16) projecting into the opening (27) and, in the closed position (22), the side edge (42) is positioned in the upper corner region (52) of the loading hatch (19) between the side edge (43) of the side wall (16) and the tab (31) positioned in the side wall (16) or the side edge (43) is positioned in the upper corner region (51) of the side wall (16) between the side edge (42) of the loading hatch (19) and the tab (31) that is arranged on the loading hatch (19).
Pallet and panel storage system and related methods
Disclosed are systems, apparatus and methods for transporting a palletized stack of bottles or other similar bulk-produced containers using a unique pallet base and a unique set of side panels that may be engaged with the base and with each other in order to protect the stacks of bottles on the pallet base during shipping and transport. Embodiments of the invention dampen vibrations, protect the bottles from exterior contaminants, and allow the bottles to be viewed from the outside. Embodiments of the invention also provide reusable pallet systems that are easy to assemble and disassemble, and ship back for reuse.
QUARTER PALLET WITH PRODUCT TAB RECEIVING AREAS FOR PRODUCTS CARRIED THEREON
A pallet includes a top including a product support surface and an opposing underside, with outer sides extending between the product support surface and the underside. Four feet each extend away from the underside of the top, and each foot has a first opening facing out through the product supporting surface of the top. The feet thus allow stacking of such pallets with the feet of a first such pallet extending into the first openings of a second such pallet. Product tab receiving areas are for receiving respective product tabs, with each product tab receiving area having a slot within the top adjacent a respective outer side of the top. The slot has a pair of spaced apart opposing long sidewalls and a pair of spaced apart opposing short sidewalls adjacent to the pair of long sidewalls, with one of the long sidewalls including a laterally extending tongue for engaging an opening in one of the product tabs.
