Lid and container assembly
A lid for a container assembly is disclosed. The lid is configured for locking engagement with the container such that accidental or unintentional removal of the lid from the container is resisted. The lid includes an outer skirt that overlies the outer surface of the container about an upper rim. The outer skirt includes a plurality of lid locking members that are disposed at spaced apart intervals about the outer periphery of the skirt and extend inwardly, relative to the outer skirt, for engaging an outwardly extending container lip. Disposition of the lid on the container is with effect that the plurality of lid locking members deflect outwardly as the lid is displaced downwardly over the container lip, the lid locking members returning to their inwardly disposed position once clear of the lip. The inward disposition of the lid locking members effects a robust engagement between the container and lid.
Food storage container with reversible lid
Containers for storing food in a storage compartment may include a base portion of the container. The storage compartment is sealed with a film to get the food stored in the storage compartment fresh. The container further includes a reversible lid that is able to attach to the base portion of the container in two different configurations. In a first configuration the reversible lid attaches to the base portion without affecting the seal created by the film. In a second configuration the reversible lid attaches to the base portion when the lid is inverted and the film is removed from the base portion.
Chemical storage container with locking hinge
A storage container is provided. The container includes a receptacle and a lid connected to the receptacle by a hinge. The lid has a latch for sealing the receptacle closed. The receptacle and the lid are each made from a continuous unitary piece of material that has hinge components formed within the material.
Tamper-evident containers
A tamper-evident container formed by thermoforming includes a tub having a bottom and a sidewall forming an interior volume. The container has a lid with an edge extending peripherally outward therefrom which is configured to mate with the tub edge to close the container. The lid edge has an inner portion and an outer portion with a perforated section therebetween. The perforated section extends continuously around the entire periphery of the lid, whereby the outer portion forms a tamper-evident seal removable from the inner portion for removing the lid from the tub. Texture elements are distributed around the outer portion of the lid edge which are configured to provide a visual indication of the presence of the tamper-evident seal. The tub edge is disposed beneath the outer portion of the lid edge and extends peripherally outward so that a substantial part of the outer portion of the lid edge does not extend below the tub edge in a vertical direction of the container in an upright orientation. A tab extends from the outer portion of the lid edge and below the tub edge in the vertical direction of the container.
Gasketless Closure For Open-Top Pails
A molded plastic closure is configured to provide a plug fit with the top rim of an open top container having an outwardly protruding rim flange. A two-part seal preventing leakage of fluid from the container is provided by means of a ridge structure on the inner wall of the inverted U-shaped channel of the closure peripheral structure as well as a flexible sealing wiper appendage which is formed integrally with the top of the inverted U-shaped structure and which deformingly contacts the top surface of the container rim when the rim is essentially fully inserted into the U-shaped channel. The wiper appendage is formed to angle toward the inner channel wall in the undeflected condition.
LID FOR A CONTAINER
A lid for covering the open end of a beverage container (e.g. a container of coffee) having: an annular base adapted to detachably and sealably engage with the circumference of a drinking edge of a container; an elevated portion projecting upwardly from the annular base; and a spout; the lid arranged and formed such that when in use with a container containing liquid and wherein the lid is securely fitted to the container a user is able to move the spout between a closed configuration which closes the open end of a container such that liquid is substantially prevented from escaping from the container and a drinking configuration which allows a user to drink the liquid contained within the container and also wherein in use the lid is adapted such that a user can squeeze the container or the elevated portion which results in the spout moving from a closed configuration to a drinking configuration.
Beverage Container Cover Assembly
A lid assembly is provided that is configured to enclose a beverage within a beverage container. The lid assembly includes a lid, a lid cover, and one or more magnetically-interfacing elements that bias the lid and lid cover with respect to each other. To reduce spillage, various embodiments reduce contact between surface(s) of the lid and lid cover, and/or include a gasket the selectively seals a vent.
CONTAINER AND CONTAINER LID WITH BUILT-IN BRINE DISC
The present disclosure relates generally to containers and container lids. In at least one embodiment, the disclosed containers and container lids provide a liquid-tight seal without the use of gaskets, and can facilitate full submersion of solid items when the container is filled with liquid. For example, in certain embodiments, a container lid includes a brine disc panel with alternating hatched patterns of downward protruding ridges. Thus, in these embodiments, liquids within the container can pass between the protruding ridges (e.g., with the protruding ridges extending downwardly into the liquid) and the protruding ridges may keep solids that tend to float in the liquid below a surface of the liquid.
Container that prevents from an illegal operation and can be easily identified after being illegally operated
A container includes a casing defining an opening and formed with a first abutting edge surrounding the opening. A cover is selectively mounted onto the casing for closing the opening, wherein the cover has a second abutting edge laterally extending therefrom and abutting against the first abutting edge when the cover closes the opening. A puller extends from the second abutting edge of the cover. A snapping device is formed between the casing and the puller. The snapping device includes a plug formed on the puller and a socket defined in the casing for receiving the plug. Two weakened portions are formed on the puller such that the puller is irreversibly curved after being lifted due to the weakened portion and the curved puller is used as a basis for easily identifying whether the container is illegally operated or not.
AN IMPROVED PLASTIC CONTAINER BODY AND CONTAINER CLOSURE AND CARRY HANDLE GRIP / CONTAINER LEVERAGE OPENING TOOL ASSEMBLY
A plastic injection moulded wide mouth container body and container cover locking and sealing mechanism which includes an annular flange and an annular angular notch groove respectively in a pre-determined configuration so as to provide a tight leak-proof seal when the container lid is fitted over, around and within the container body hoop annular fin and upon locking engagement. The present invention incorporates a multi-use plastic handle grip which may also be used as a closure opening levering tool to disengage the container lid from the container body in a safe and ergonomic manner. More significantly the invention, and when in use and upon first usage opening, does not require the removal of any portion of the container lid to comply with tamper evident requirements, nor needs other tools such as knives and metal levers to completely remove the container closure from the container body. Still furthermore the invention includes a plurality of venting channels and adjacent ports which allows the evacuation of increased internal air pressure within the closed container head space with no leakage of the packaged fluid product. The invention may be adapted to plastic containers of any size and shape being round, oval, square or rectangular tapered or straight wall containers.
