Portable, deployable container system
10981698 · 2021-04-20 ·

A portable deployable container system has structural elements, including a base, a cover, and a set of panels, which can be manipulated into at least two container configurations. In one configuration, a container is formed by releasably securing the cover to the base to define a first volume. Some or all of the panels may be enclosed within such first volume, defining an undeployed configuration for the system. A second configuration involves removably securing some or all of the set of panels to the base and enclosing the panels with the cover, thereby deploying the system and forming a second, deployed configuration enclosing a volume larger than the first volume. Interconnections between the structural elements benefit from duckbill connections which add strength to the configurations by receiving flanges of first elements into corresponding channels of second elements formed by flared walls on such structural elements.

Lid for a Cup

The current invention relates to a lid for a cup which protects the contents of the cup and the drinking hole from contaminants. In some embodiments the lid for a cup includes a base and a cover connected to the base which rotates around the base. In this way the cover protects the drinking hole when closed, but can rotate open to allow the user to access the drinking hole and the contents of the cup. In some embodiments the cover is further equipped with a stopper which fits into the drinking hole and helps secure the cover in a closed position. In other embodiments the base is further equipped with a ramp leading up to the drinking hole which guides the cover to the drinking hole and locks the stopper within the hole. In other embodiments a protective layer is provided over the base which is removed before use.

CHILD RESISTANT DOUBLE SEAM CONTAINER LID

More particularly, a one-piece, two-piece, and three-piece child resistant double seam affixable container lid is provided having a first piece lid portion first, a second piece adapter ring locking member second piece and optionally a third piece securing unit piece, with rotational alignment indicators, and optional additional integral features such as a liquid measuring cup feature, a liquid tight lid feature, a threaded lid portion, a replaceable double seam container lid portion and a double seam container lid locking member adapter ring securely affixable to the double seam container.

ALIGNMENT POSITIONING STRUCTURE FOR CONTAINER LID HANDLE AND HOLDING PART
20210130044 · 2021-05-06 ·

An alignment positioning structure for a container lid handle and a holding part includes: a body formed by surrounding a side to form an accommodating space, and a longitudinal lengthwise columnar body with an open end communicating with the accommodating space; a gripping protuberance being a convex surface protruded from a side of the body and each opposite end of the convex surface having an inwardly bent force applying surface; a lid having a combining section extended from a side of the lid for combining with the open end of the body and having two opposite first combining portions; a handle having two opposite end portions with a second combining portion for combining the two first combining portions; and a compensation portion having a gap formed between the lid and the open end of the body to define a relative position between the handle and the gripping protuberance.

Lid for beverage containers

A lid for a beverage container comprising a lower lid having a perimeter skirt adapted to secure the lower lid to an opening of the beverage container, a lip portion radially inward from the skirt and extending upward from the skirt and defining an inside surface, an annular portion radially inward from the lip portion and defining a plurality of openings through which liquid from the container may flow; an upper planar lid resting on the lower lid by gravity and having a perimeter edge that is sized to closely conform with the inside surface, the upper lid covering the annular portion as it rests on the lower lid, and a stop mechanism cooperating with the lower lid and the upper lid to limit the range of motion of the upper lid with respect to the lower lid, wherein the stop mechanism enables the upper lid to move away for a distance from the lower lid in response to pressure exerted upon the upper lid by liquid flowing out of the container through the openings as the container is tilted, and wherein the stop mechanism prevents the upper lid from being expelled from the lower lid, and wherein the upper lid returns to resting on the lower lid by gravity as the container is returned to vertical.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SEALED VESSEL, VESSEL CLOSURE, AND VESSEL HAVING VESSEL CLOSURE
20230406583 · 2023-12-21 ·

The invention relates to a method for producing a sealed vessel, in which vessel it should be possible to store moisture-sensitive contents, and the vessel closure associated with which vessel should have improved recyclability. A vessel closure having a sealing element is provided. The sealing element comprises a polymer composition containing at least one polymer. The Shore A hardness of the polymer composition, determined in accordance with DIN ISO 7619 with a hold time of 15 s and a temperature of 23 C., is at most 80. A vessel having an opening is provided, the opening of the vessel being surrounding by a vessel mouth. The vessel closure is applied to the vessel mouth such that the opening of the vessel is sealed, the sealing element having a temperature of at most 80 C. during the application of the vessel closure to the vessel mouth, and/or an inert gas is introduced into a head space of the vessel and the vessel closure is applied to the vessel mouth such that the opening of the vessel is sealed by the vessel closure.

Caps for Catheter Packages

A package for a medical device such as an intermittent catheter has a case which is closed at one end and open at the other end. A cap is connected to the case by a hinge to permit selectable movement of the cap between an open position, wherein access is provided to the open end of the case, and a closed position, wherein the cap prevents access to the open end of the case. A seal is connected to one of the cap and case. The seal is engageable with the other of the cap and case when the cap is closed to form a barrier that maintains a sterile environment inside the package. The seal can be repeatedly made and broken whenever the user closes or opens the cap, respectively. One of the case and cap has a latch and the other has a receptacle for receiving the latch to releasably retain the cap in a closed position. The latches fit into the receptacle to prevent lateral forces from distorting the cap when the cap is closed. A locking slide may be used to lock the cap to the case.

CONTAINERS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME

Disclosed herein are containers. Also disclosed are methods using the containers and methods of storing substances in containers. The containers have a glass base and a plastic cap and provide for child-resistant containers. A user can releasably remove the cap from base. For example, the user squeezes opposite corners of the container cap, which releases a locking mechanism and allows for removal of the cap by lifting or pulling the container cap off from the container base.

Seal indication mechanism for containers

A seal indication mechanism for a container assembly having a container and a lid is provided. The seal indication mechanism has a portion on the container and a portion on the lid that interface to indicate to a user that a seal has been achieved between the container and the lid. The seal indication mechanism provides an audible, tactile and visual indication to the user that the lid and container are sealed. The seal indication mechanism functions to indicate a range of sealed relative positions between the container and the lid throughout the usable life of the container assembly.

DEVICE CONTAINER

Device containers, such as therapeutic kit containers, are disclosed. In one embodiment, a device container comprises a first member configured to releasably hold a syringe barrel, a second member configured to releasably hold a vial, wherein the second member is coupled to the first member by a first hinge, and a third member configured to releasably hold a vial adapter, wherein the third member is coupled to the second member by a second hinge.
