All-glass travel mug
A beverage container for hot or cold beverages, where the lid and base are connected via a glass joint. The glass joint forms a seal between the lid and base and eliminates the need for a synthetic material to form such a seal. The base has a double wall construction forming a cavity between the two walls. One or more of the surfaces facing the cavity are coated with a thermally reflective coating, which along with the glass materials, reduces heat transfer to the external surroundings. The lid is formed by a glass shell with an internal cavity, where the internal surfaces defining the cavity are optionally coated with a thermally reflective coating to further insulate the beverage container.
Lid Assembly for a Beverage Container
A leak resistant lid assembly for a beverage container where the lid assembly has a straw or similar means for a user to drink liquid is disclosed. The lid assembly may include a base, a straw that extends through the base, a gasket, and a grommet. The base may have a primary opening that receives the straw and a secondary opening in the top of the base, where the secondary opening acts as a vent to prevent a vacuum from occurring when drinking from a straw. The grommet may have a spiral ring may help create a flow path for air from inside the beverage container to the exterior environment.
PORTABLE AIRTIGHT BOX AND BOX COVER THEREOF
A box cover for a portable airtight box, comprising an upper cover, a lower cover, a sliding plate, a reset spring, a pinching member, a lower cover plate, and a sealing ring, wherein the upper cover is fixedly connected to the lower cover, an accommodating space is formed between the upper cover and the lower cover, and the sliding plate is movably arranged within the accommodating space, wherein the reset spring is disposed between the sliding plate and the lower cover, wherein the sliding plate is capable of moving upward relative to the lower cover, wherein the pinching member is movably arranged on the upper cover, and the pinching member abuts against the sliding plate, wherein the lower cover plate is movably arranged at outer bottom of the lower cover, and the lower cover plate is fixedly connected with the sliding plate.
TAMPER-RESISTANT AIR-PERMEABLE CONTAINER
A tamper-resistant air-permeable container includes a cover having a bottom that is formed with a first wall having primary troughs and primary blocks and formed with a retaining engagement portion; and a box including a receiving space and having a second wall that is provided with a first step part lower than the second wall and a second step part lower than the first step part to define forming therebetween a retaining engagement groove. The second wall is formed with secondary troughs, each including a curved section, such that each of the secondary troughs has a curved configuration. When the cover is combined with the box, the retaining engagement portions of the cover are fit into and retained in the retaining engagement groove. The primary troughs and the secondary troughs form passages in communication with the receiving space.
Snap closure with tamper-evident safety means
A cover operates with a bistable snap-fit mechanism for positioning on a closable opening of a container or on another element to be closed by the cover. The cover and/or a container wall region has fitted thereon a tamper-evident sealing element to be removed when opening the container for the first time, which, prior to being removed, blocks deformation of the front wall necessary for changeover between the two bistable states and/or prevents an expansion portion necessary for the snap-fit mechanism, from bringing about alteration to the outer circumference of the cover necessary for deformation of the front wall of the cover between the two bistable states. As an alternative, or in addition, it is also possible for a handle member, necessary for pulling off the cover, to be configured such that it can only be used once the tamper-evident sealing has been successfully removed.
FRESHNESS-RETAINING NEGATIVE PRESSURE CONTAINER FOR FOOD
A container for storing food includes a container wall with a top edge and a lid. The lid includes a lid edge with a sealing profile which contacts the top edge of the container wall when the container is closed, an opening with a valve which can have air be sucked therethrough when the container is closed so as to obtain a negative pressure inside the container, the negative pressure being lower than atmospheric pressure, a lid interior region, and a flexible profile which attaches the lid interior region to the lid edge so as to form a variable-height support of the lid interior region. The flexible profile maintains the lid interior region in an upper position if the negative pressure is not present and allows for a movement of the lid interior region into a lower position if the negative pressure is present.
CLOSURE AND DRAINAGE FOR FOOD CONTAINERS AND FOOD SUPPORTS
Systems and methods for providing compostable food containers that preserve the quality of a food product for an extended duration of time, and which optionally allow for cooking of the food product therein. In some implementations, the food containers are sturdy, stackable, insulating, and require minimal or no manual labor to assemble. In some implementations, the food container includes a base and a cover which cooperate to form a closed chamber for supporting, protecting, insulating and optionally cooking a food product, such as a pizza. The base and cover may each be formed of a single layer of material including, but not limited to, molded sugarcane fiber (“bagasse”), molded wood fiber, molded bamboo fiber, molded paper or plastic.
Tamper-evident plastic container
Tamper-evident plastic container comprises a base portion having a sidewall and a base flange, and a lid portion having a lid tab joined to the base flange by a hinge, wherein the lid portion has an open and a closed position. The lid portion is configured to lockingly engage the base portion in the closed position. One of the base flange or the lid tab has a non-linear path of weakness formed therein to define a frangible connection, wherein the frangible connection is configured to be ruptured to initially open the lid portion from the closed position. The non-linear path of weakness is spaced from the hinge to define a tamper indicator region between the non-linear path of weakness and the hinge, wherein the tamper indicator region remains joined to the hinge after the frangible connection is ruptured. Methods of containing a product in a tamper-evident container are also disclosed.
Double-walled beverage container and method of using same
A container having fluid container inner body positioned within an outer body having a lower end wall with an aperture. An interior chamber is formed between sidewalls of the inner and outer bodies. A flexible and resilient stopper removably positionable in the aperture in fluid-tight sealing engagement with the end wall. A stiffening member is removably positionable within a cavity of the stopper after the stopper is positioned in the aperture to provide rigidity to the stopper to resist bending of the stopper and thereby resists unintentional dislodgement of the stopper from the aperture without first removing the stiffening member from the stopper.
CONTAINER CAPABLE OF IDENTIFYING THE CONTAINER BEING UNAUTHORIZED OPENED
A container includes a box member and a lid. The box member has a first extending member, and the lid has a second extending member. The first extending member is connected to the second extending member initially, and a breaking portion is formed between the first extending member and the second extending member to disconnect the first extending member and the second extending member when the breaking portion is broken. The second extending member is above the first extending member when the lid is connected to the box member, and the first extending member has at least a portion uncovered by the second extending member.
