Tamper evident container
A container having provisions that indicate tampering or previous attempts in opening the container is described. The container includes a peel tab for opening the container to thereby gain access to the container interior and contents therein. The container further includes pull tab provisions which must be at least partially separated from a container substrate, in order to gain access to the peel tab. Separation of the pull tab provisions provides indication of tampering or prior opening attempts. Related methods of providing such indication are also described.
DEVICE FOR PRESSING OBJECTS FROM BLISTER PACKS
A device (1) for use with a battery carrier (10) defining at least one sealed compartment (12) in which a product (14) is located and which is at least partly formed of a frangible material (20), the device (1) having a support for supporting the carrier (10) with the compartment (12) aligned with an aperture (8) in the support, and an engaging device for engaging with the compartment (12) whereby to break the frangible material (20) and displace the product (14) from the compartment (12) through the aperture (8). The support and the engaging device are normally spaced apart but are relatively movable to effect product (14) displacement, the support including at least one prong (15, 16) arranged in the aperture (8) in order to break the frangible material (20) when the engaging device displaces the product (14).
Multi-layer lidding film with peel off and push through portions
The present invention discloses a child resistant lidding film with a unique structure, comprising a peel-off portion and a push-through portion. The peel-off portion includes a first layer composed of a blend of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and hydrocarbon resin. The push-through portion includes a second layer comprising cyclic olefin copolymer (COC). Notably, the first layer is in direct contact with the second layer, providing a child resistant and convenient peel-push opening functionality for packaging applications.
