20240034539 · 2024-02-01 ·

A shipping assembly is described. The assembly includes a shipping container, a bottom structure, and a top structure. The bottom and top structures retain objects in a spaced-apart arrangement within the shipping container. A paperboard sheet is folded into three horizontal layers to form the bottom structure. A first layer has apertures to retain the objects. A second layer is below and spaced apart from the first layer with a substantially flat surface below the first apertures. A third layer is below and spaced apart from the second layer. Another paperboard sheet is folded into two horizontal layers to form the top structure. A fourth layer has another set of apertures to retain the objects. A fifth layer is above and spaced apart from the fourth layer. The apertures are align to position the objects in the shipping container.

A washing machine tub lock device is provided that prevents the wash tub from impacting the washing machine cabinet during shipping and handling. The tub lock device is formed by cutting and folding a corrugated blank into an inverted truncated rectangular cone that can be wedged inside the top portion of the washing machine tub. The tub lock device includes hanging tabs which prevent the tub lock device from falling into the wash tub during shipping and handling. The tub lock device also includes elliptical tabs which bend or deform into elliptical cutouts such that the edges of the elliptical cutouts are covered, thus preventing the elliptical cutouts from damaging the washing machine during shipping and handling.

This invention is related to a 2-ply corrugated paper-based envelope with crease lines and glue strips for primary and secondary packaging and transportation needs. The envelope comes with glue strips in single or double (for reverse logistics if required) lines. These envelopes can be enhanced with a provision for tear tape for the frustration-free opening of the package. To enhance evidence of tampering of the envelope, there is an option for perforation. The envelope can come with a numbering system all around except at the top, where tear tape can be provided for ease of opening. To help in identifying if the package has been tampered with, there is an option of printing a line along with the flap/opening with special ink which turns pink in color when comes in contact with heat.
