Nestable trays with minimum axial spacing
A molded container of solid continuous construction having a floor and contiguous upstanding sidewalls angling outward and upward to a surrounding upper lip. Below the upper lip the floor and sidewalls surround an inner cavity adapted to receive food. The sidewalls include at least three outwardly-directed lugs that are thicker from an inner surface to an outer surface thereof than a nominal wall thickness of the remainder of the sidewalls. The sidewall at the location of each lug having an inner surface which is contiguous and uninterrupted relative to the inner surface of adjacent portions of the sidewall. Consequently, a first container may be stacked and nested within a second container such that the lugs on the first container contact the inner surface of the second container at the location of the lugs on the second container and maintain a predetermined axial spacing between the first and second containers.
Edge protector and method of manufacturing same
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide an improved edge protector having two plies wrapped around a core and a method of manufacturing the improved edge protector.
Cushioning member, method for manufacturing cushioning member, and packing body
A cushioning member includes a medium-filled cushioning component and a surrounding member. The medium-filled cushioning component includes a first cushioning portion and a second cushioning portion. The surrounding member includes a first tubular portion, a second tubular portion, and a connecting portion that connects an end of the first tubular portion in a direction parallel to a first central axis and an end of the second tubular portion in a direction parallel to a second central axis. The connecting portion is bendable such that a posture of the first tubular portion and the second tubular portion is changed between a parallel posture in which the first central axis is parallel to the second central axis and an intersecting posture in which the first central axis intersects the second central axis.
Scored corrugated corner elements
A corrugated corner element including at least some of a portion of material extending from a first terminal end to a second terminal end; a first corner element leg having one or more alternating ridges and grooves; a second corner element leg, extending from the first corner element leg, the second corner element leg having one or more alternating ridges and grooves; and a score mark formed in the portion of material, extending from an area proximate the first terminal end to an area proximate the second terminal end, wherein the score mark provides a line or portion along which the corrugated corner element may be bent or folded.
Trilobular packaging element
A trilobular packaging element, including at least some of a sheet extending from a first terminal end to a second terminal end and including one or more alternating ridges and grooves, wherein the length of the sheet is defined between a terminating proximal end and a terminating distal end; a first extension portion defined along a portion of the sheet; a central portion defined along a portion of the sheet, extending from the first extension portion; and a second extension portion defined along a portion of the sheet, extending from the central portion to the terminating distal end, wherein the sheet is formed to be bent or folded between the first extension portion and the central portion and between the central portion and the second extension portion such that a portion of the second extension portion overlaps a portion the first extension portion to form a deformable hollow.
BUFFER PACKAGING
A buffer packaging is provided. The buffer packaging includes a main body and at least one support plate. The main body is stretchable in a stretching direction and includes at least one receiving hole. The at least one support plate is connected with the main body and is swingable between a first position and a second position.
PACKAGING WITH RAISING PLATFORM AND LAY-FLAT CONSTRUCTION
Packaging may include a base box having a cavity to receive a product. Cushioning cells formed as rollover structures are configured to hold the product within the cavity. When the rollover structure rotate away from the cavity, a product support panel raises, thereby raising the product within the packaging. The packaging may also easily fold flat, without the need to remove adhesive, thereby enhancing recyclability.
Hourglass shaped packaging element
An hourglass shaped packaging element, including at least some of a sheet that includes one or more alternating ridges and grooves formed between a terminating proximal end and a terminating distal end of the sheet; a first sheet portion defined along a portion of the sheet, wherein the first sheet portion extends from the terminating proximal end of the sheet; and a second sheet portion, defined along a portion of the sheet, wherein the second sheet portion extends from the first sheet portion to the terminating distal end, wherein the sheet is bent or folded between the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion such that a portion of the sheet proximate the terminating distal end overlays a portion of the sheet proximate the terminating proximal end to form a deformable hollow defined within at least a portion of the sheet.
CUSHION PACKAGE BOX AND ELECTRONIC PRODUCT CUSHION PACKAGE ASSEMBLY
A cushion package box includes a box body, a first cushion member and at least one paper tube. The first cushion member is disposed in the box body and has a porous structure. An opening direction of the porous structure is different from an opening direction of the at least one paper tube. The at least one paper tube is disposed in the box body and in contact with the first cushion member.
EDGE PROTECTOR
A sheet of foldable material having a plurality of laterally spaced parallel fold lines dividing the sheet into consecutive panels to allow for folding of the panels into overlapping engagement. A notched edge protecting section comprising at least two panels folded into an overlapping engagement and formed from the removal of material from the overlapping panels. An un-notched edge protecting section comprising at least two panels folded into an overlapping engagement and including a first and second leg each having an inner longitudinal edge, outer longitudinal edge and an outside edge wherein the angle between said first longitudinal edge and said outside edge is greater than 90 degrees. A third and a fourth leg formed from the folding of said un-notched edge protecting section so that at least a portion of the inner longitudinal edges of the first and second legs contact one another.
