TRANSPORT AND FEED UNIT FOR PREFORMS
A transport and feed unit for preforms, in particular for PET bottles, in which the transport and feed unit can be charged with preforms at its upstream end and supplies the preforms to a conveyor unit arranged at the downstream end of the transport and feed unit. The transport and feed unit has a first conveyor and a second conveyor, in which at the downstream end of the first conveyor a funnel-like device is provided through which the preforms reach the second conveyor which supplies the preforms to the conveyor unit arranged at its downstream end.
SYNCHRONIZED, HIGH EFFICIENCY PROVISIONING, HANDLING, AND EXCESS RECIRCULATION DESIGN
Parcel processing systems and methods. A parcel processing system includes a parcel transport configured to receive a flow of parcels, and transport the flow of parcels at a rate greater than a processing capacity of a downstream processing device. The parcel processing system includes a diverter configured to divert individual parcels from the flow of parcels to be recirculated. The parcel processing system includes the downstream processing device configured to process the remaining flow of parcels. The parcel processing system includes a control system configured to cause the diverter to divert the individual parcels from the flow of parcels until the remaining flow of parcels is not greater than the processing capacity of a downstream processing device.
Methods and apparatus for dispensing solid articles
A dispensing apparatus for dispensing articles includes a housing and a drive system. The housing defines a hopper chamber to hold the articles, a dispensing outlet, and a dispensing path between the hopper chamber and the dispensing outlet. The drive system includes a belt and a belt actuator operable to drive the belt. The dispensing apparatus is configured such that articles disposed in the hopper chamber are directed onto the belt and the belt, when driven by the belt actuator, conveys the articles received from the hopper chamber in a dispensing direction along the dispensing path toward the dispensing outlet to be dispensed.
VOLUMETRICALLY EFFICIENT LOADING OF CARTONS WITH INCREASED THROUGHPUT YIELD
Parcel processing systems and methods. A parcel processing system includes a parcel singulation transport configured to transport a stream of singulated parcels. The parcel processing system includes a parcel sorter configured to sort individual parcels in the stream of singulated parcels into a plurality of buffers. Multiple buffers comprise a set of buffers corresponding to a single load builder, and each buffer accumulates and buffers sorted parcels before transfer to the load builder. The parcel processing system includes a parcel flow merge configured to selectively receive buffered parcels from each of the buffers in the set and feed the received parcels to the load builder. The parcel processing system includes the load builder, configured to receive the parcels from the parcel flow merge and build successive stacks of parcels on a parcel pallet.
Singulating vibration feeder
The problem of singulating oblong articles (1a, 1b, 1c, 2a, 2b) that are unloaded in an arbitrary orientation onto a conveyor has been solved in that the conveying trough (4) is divided into a central, lower part (5) and surrounding upwards-and-outwards extending parts (6, 7), whereby the central part (5) vibrates with a longitudinal amplitude that is higher than that of the upwards-and-outwards extending parts (6, 7) at the same frequency.
Automated Parcel Singulator
An automated parcel singulator includes a conveyor system, a control and monitoring system, an infeed table, and a hopper system. The hopper system stores and dispenses parcels and boxes onto the infeed table. The infeed tables singulates and moves the boxes and parcels, so that when the boxes and parcels are placed on the conveyor system they form a single line of packages.
Article supply device
An article supply device has: a transport part that transports transported objects, and a movable block. The movable block is provided with a storage part that can store one of the transported objects in a reception position that communicates with a downstream end of the transport part. The movable block is capable of reciprocal movement in a direction that intersects the reception direction of the transported object. At one end of the reciprocal movement, the storage part is in the reception position. At the other end of the reciprocal movement, the storage part is in a dispensation or retrieval position from which the transported object can be dispensed or retrieved.
DEVICE FOR PICKING UP BARS AND CORRESPONDING METHOD
Pick-up device (10) configured to selectively pick up and extract at least one bar (B) from a plurality of bars (B) disposed on a feed plane (111) and to position it on a delivery plane (12), said pick-up device (10) comprising a support arm (11) terminally provided with a pick-up head (12). The present invention also concerns an apparatus (100) for feeding bars (B) comprising the device (10) as above and a corresponding method for picking up bars (B).
TAPING APPARATUS
A component conveyance disk of a taping apparatus has a plurality of component transport units at an equiangular interval. Each component transport unit is formed of three component transport grooves in a peripheral portion of the component conveyance disk. Width direction centerlines of the respective component transport grooves are parallel to each other, with a portion thereof in a direction along the width direction centerlines opening toward a component storage chamber. Dimensions along the width direction centerlines of the opened portion of the respective component transport grooves are shorter than a length of the component. In addition, the respective component transport grooves have component guides that guide the components into the respective component transport grooves.
AUTOMATED ARTICLE SINGULATOR AND METHOD THEREOF
Disclose herein are an automated article singulator and a method thereof. The singulator according to one embodiment includes a measuring unit configured to measure positions and postures of articles being transferred, an arranging unit configured to receive randomly supplied articles, transfer the articles using a transfer apparatus, and change moving directions of the articles using a plurality of direction changing apparatuses, and a control unit configured to control the direction changing apparatuses one at a time or in groups to arrange flows of the articles according to information measured by the measuring unit.
