Multi-track loading of pick-and-place robots
12180015 · 2024-12-31 · ·

The loading of one or more multi-track pick-and-place devices with formations of products from an interim store including buffer-storage belts arranged in a number of planes takes place by means of a lifting device arranged at the exit of the interim store. The lifting device has a height-adjustable platform, on which conveyor belts which run transversely to the conveying direction of the buffer-storage belts are arranged. The conveyor belts can be displaced horizontally in the conveying direction of the buffer-storage belts and can be rotated through an angle between 0 and 90.

System And Method For Storing And Sequencing Luggage Items
20170200248 · 2017-07-13 ·

A system and method for storing and sequencing a plurality of luggage items. The method includes receiving at least one of the luggage items into a loading area from an entrance conveyor disposed in the loading area. Once received, the luggage items are moved from the entrance conveyor onto a shelf of a container with a loading assembly. The method continues with transporting the container from the loading area to the storage area with an automatic guided vehicle with the luggage item disposed on the shelf of the container. When the luggage items are ready to be processed, the method continues with transporting the first container from the storage area to the unloading area with the automatic guided vehicle with the received luggage item disposed on the shelf of the container. Different embodiments of the loading and unloading assemblies are provided.

Device for the accumulation and release of products, in particular for supplying packing lines for such products

A device for the accumulation and release of products arranged within containers comprises a main accumulation unit with a reception opening and a first delivery opening, the containers being guided between the openings. The device is provided with a second accumulation unit operationally in communication with the main unit and having a second delivery opening. The device uses an actuator for selectively moving containers loaded with products from the main accumulation unit to the second unit, in order to selectively by-pass the first delivery opening and enable containers to be unloaded at the second delivery opening provided in the second accumulation unit.

STORING UNIT FOR CARDBOARD TUBES AND METHOD FOR STORING CARDBOARD TUBES
20170073160 · 2017-03-16 ·

A method for storing cardboard tubes (2) in a storing unit according to the present invention comprising the following steps: providing a storage unit with an input section for the tubes (2), a storage section (AC) comprising a plurality of storing planes (13), an output section for the tubes (2), transfer means (3) for transferring the tubes (2) from the input section to the storage section, and discharge means for conveying the tubes (2) from the storing section to the output section; providing a plurality of cardboard tubes (2) in the input section (E) of said storage unit; transferring the tubes (2) from the input section of the storage unit to the storage section; storing a plurality of tubes (2) in said storage section (AC); transferring the tubes (2) from said storage section (AC) to said output section. The step of transferring the tubes (2) from said input section to said storage section involves more tubes (2) simultaneously, whereby a plurality of tubes (2) are transferred from said input section simultaneously on a plurality of storing planes (13) of the storage section (AC).

Transfer device for an apparatus for continuously conveying items, and method for continuously conveying items

The invention relates to a transfer device (20) apparatus (100) for continuously conveying items. The apparatus (100) has a store (10) having storage tracks (11), and a downstream conveyor track (30), wherein the transfer device (20) is arranged between the store (10) and the conveyor track (30) and is designed to transfer conveyable items from a storage track (11) to the downstream conveyor track (30). The transfer device (20) has: a feed component (21) to receive conveyable items from the selected storage track (11); a discharging component (23) to discharge the conveyable items onto the downstream conveyor track (30); and a transfer track (22) to transfer the conveyable items from the feed component (21) to the discharging component (23). The discharging component (23) is designed to be moved relative to the downstream conveyor track (30) so that continuous operation is possible when the storage track (11) is being changed over.

High-density automated storage and retrieval system

A high-density storage system for goods is described in which totes carrying the goods are stored in a storage structure and stored and retrieved via stationary or mobile conveyors running along opposite ends of each layer of the storage structure. The totes may be moved to or from the conveyors as the rows move at a constant velocity toward or away from the conveyors. Totes at the ends of rows are quickly moved and stored in another row until the desired tote appears at the end of the row, at which point the desired tote is carried to an exit point of the storage structure by one of the conveyors.

High-density automated storage and retrieval system

A high-density storage system for goods is described in which totes carrying the goods are storage in a storage structure and stored and retrieved by robotic carriers. The carriers move laterally and/or longitudinally along the exterior of the support structure and retrieve totes from the interior of the structure by manipulating rows of coupled totes. Totes at the ends of rows are quickly removed and stored in another row until the desired tote appears at the end of the row, at which point the carrier proceeds with the tote to the exit point of the storage system. Storing totes is also a quick action by pushing them into any row. As a tote is pushed into the row, it will automatically couple with a tote inside the row that it comes into contact with.

Apparatus and process for the temporary storage of piece good stacks in a system for producing food products

A device and method for temporarily storing stacks of piece goods which are provided in a clocked manner at a transfer point integrated in the device or adjacent to the device of a system for producing food products, in particular chocolate products, comprising: one or more storage points, a delivery point, a transport apparatus for moving the stacks of piece goods in the direction of transport; and a manipulator by means of which the transfer point, the delivery point as well as the storage points arranged therebetween can be approached; wherein at least one piece of goods of a stack of piece goods, preferably a plurality of piece goods of a stack of piece goods, can be transferred at once to the delivery point by the manipulator; wherein the stacks of piece goods can be separated at the delivery point and fed to a downstream section of the system; and wherein the flow of stacks of piece goods provided at the transfer point can be decoupled from the downstream section of the system by successively occupying the storage points.
