Bin sweep with weight-sensitive link
09650217 · 2017-05-16 · ·

The disclosure describes an apparatus including a bin sweep arm, a floor support in contact with a floor surface, and a vertical adjustment assembly positioned between floor support and the bin sweep arm and connected to the floor support and the bin sweep arm, wherein the vertical adjustment assembly automatically raises the bin sweep arm off the floor surface and automatically lowers the bin sweep arm to the floor surface in response to changes in weight disposed on the bin sweep arm.

Horizontal support system
09643800 · 2017-05-09 ·

A system supports an outlet, within a storage silo, of a pneumatic conveyor. The outlet comprises a horizontal section, a vertical section, and an elbow interconnecting the sections. The system comprises a vertical support for suspending and centering the outlet, and a horizontal support for selectively supporting the outlet upon the silo floor. The horizontal support has clamp assemblies mounted on the horizontal section, and sets of removable support legs respectively attachable to the clamp assemblies. The horizontal support also has elbow clamp assemblies adjacent the elbow, and an elbow brace and a subframe each interconnecting the elbow clamp assemblies. Each of the support legs has a locking pin for locking that leg in a deployed position, and a storing hole for placing that leg in a stored position. The system further comprises a deflector, and sets of stanchions therefor respectively attached to the clamp assemblies of the horizontal support.

DOUGH HANDLING APPARATUS

A dough handling apparatus has a conveyor device for dough having a conveying chamber arranged between a dough inlet and a dough outlet, and a conveyor screw arranged in the conveying chamber; a supply container having an outlet opening for supplying dough to the conveyor device, wherein, in an operative position, the outlet opening connects to the dough inlet of the conveyor device, wherein the supply container is pivotable from the operative position into a pivoted-away position; and a helical feed device, wherein the helical feed device is releasably mounted in an upper part of the dough inlet of the conveyor device, wherein a first end of the helical feed device extends into the supply container, and a second end of the helical feed device extends toward the conveyor screw, wherein the second end is arranged near an outer circumference of the conveyor screw.

Storage tank with discharge conveyor

A storage tank defines a square hopper bottom converging to a bottom discharge located at one corner. The tank sits on a base frame defined by four vertical retractable legs with one leg at the discharge recessed inwardly from the corner. A discharge conveyor is mounted at the discharge for rotation about an upstanding axis at the discharge opening unimpeded by the recessed leg to move the conveyor from a retracted position along a side of the frame to an extended position at a selected angle outwardly from the frame. A horizontal platform and ladder is located at one side of the tank with the ladder being movable to a stored position parallel to the platform and both the ladder and the platform are movable to a stored position along the side of the tank.

Deflector For A Conveyor System

A system protects an outlet of a pneumatic conveyor. The outlet has a horizontal section. The system comprises a deflector for protecting the horizontal section, and sets of stanchions therefor respectively attached to clamp assemblies mounted on the horizontal section. The deflector comprises angled walls, a plurality of crossbeams interconnecting the angled walls for reinforcing the deflector, and an end flange. Each stanchion has a foot. Each clamp assembly comprises two equal halves, fasteners joining together the equal halves, and a flange for each equal half perpendicular thereto. The system further comprises fasteners each attaching one foot to one flange, respectively.

Extendable bin sweep

A bin sweep comprising a first auger section configured to be movably mounted to a central support framework of a storage bin, and a second auger section operably engaged with the first auger frame such that the second auger section is moveable relative to the first section frame substantially along an axis.

A sweep auger system having a driveshaft with auger fighting and a backboard extending a length from an inward end to an outward end. An input of a gearbox is connected to an outward end of the drive shaft and a sweep wheel having a plurality of notches, arms and feet is connected to an output of the gearbox. A drive shield is placed around a rearward side of the sweep wheel that forms a channel that is configured to capture grain agitated by the drive wheel. A guide plate is connected to the gearbox and covers a portion of the gearbox. The guide plate angles from an upper outward edge downward and forward to a lower inward edge that is configured to urge the grain captured within the channel of the drive shield to move in front of the sweep auger system reducing grain left in the grain bin.

Sweep system for grain bins

A sweep system having for removal of grain from a grain bin is presented. The sweep system has an elongated body extending a length between an inward end and an outward end and having a leading side and a trailing side. The elongated body is connected to a pivot point at the center of the grain bin and is configured to rotate around the pivot point. An agitator is connected to the outward end of the elongated body and is configured to agitate grain as the elongated body rotates around the pivot point. In one or more arrangements, the agitator is configured to support the sweep system on a floor of the grain bin. In one or more arrangements, the agitator is configured to move the sweep system forward during operation to facilitate rotation of the sweep system.
