Palletizing installation and a method for palletizing
A palletizing installation comprising two palletizing devices (10, 20) and a linear common feed conveyor (1). Each palletizing device has a stationary mounted shutter device (22) and a pallet lifter (26). A stationary mounted row formation platform (28) is present to form thereon a row of products, which platform has a lateral side that extends adjacent a lateral side of the common feed conveyor. Each palletizing device comprises a product row transfer mechanism (30) that is adapted to slide a row of products from the row formation platform onto the layer formation surface of the shutter device in closed state. The installation further comprises a product ejector system and one or more product ejector devices (41) which are adapted to eject a product from the common feed conveyor such that the product moves onto a selected product location of said at least two row formation platforms.
SLUG LOADING SYSTEMS WITH INDEPENDENTLY DRIVEN LOADING UNITS
A system for formation of one or more slugs is provided. The system comprises a first loading unit having one or more first cups and a second loading unit having one or more second cups. The first loading unit and the second loading unit are each configured to receive products therein from a conveyor. The first loading unit and the second loading unit are each configured to move to an unloading position after receiving the products so that the slug(s) are formed. The first loading unit and the second loading unit are each configured to unload the slug(s) when the first loading unit and the second loading unit are in the unloading position. The first loading unit and the second loading unit may be independently driven so that the first loading unit and the second loading unit are configured to move relative to each other.
SHEET STACKER AND METHOD FOR FORMING STACKS OF SHEETS
A sheet stacker including a sheet conveyor arrangement and a stacking bay, wherein sheets delivered by the sheet conveyor arrangement are formed into stacks; the stacking bay including a stacker platform. The stacker platform is provided with a vertical lifting and lowering movement with respect to a stationary supporting structure and is controlled to move downwards while a stack of sheets is formed thereon. The stacker platform supports a stack conveyor configured and controlled to perform at least an evacuation motion, to remove a completed stack from the stacking bay. The evacuation motion of the stack conveyor is oriented such that a completed stack is moved from the stacking bay onto an evacuation conveyor arranged under the sheet conveyor arrangement.
