Ring apparatus and method for lifting an item for holding windable material
An apparatus and method for lifting a spool of windable material including a barrel and two flanges whose rims engage the floor utilizes a ring having a diameter which is greater than the height of the flanges of the spool desired to be lifted. A strut spans at least a portion of the ring interior, and a carriage assembly which is cooperable with the spool barrel at one end thereof is mounted upon the strut for movement between first and second locations therealong so that by positioning the apparatus alongside one flange of the spool while the carriage assembly is positioned in its first location along the strut, placing the carriage assembly in cooperating relationship with the barrel of the spool, and then effecting the movement of the carriage assembly along the length of the strut to the second location therealong, the one flange of the spool is lifted from the floor.
FLANGE STAND AND ADAPTER FOR FLANGES
A flange for use on a reel, a flange adapter, and a flange stand are provided. The flange may include an outer circumference, a hub assembly, and an arbor hole adapter that is adapted to engage an arbor hole to secure the flange to the reel. The arbor hole adapter may include an expandable portion that is movable between an extended position and a retracted position. First and second expansion plates may be coupled to the arbor hole adapter and connected by shoulder bolts that guide movement of the plates between an abutting configuration and a spaced-apart configuration, allowing movement of the expandable portion relative to the reel for modified engagement. The flange stand may include a base, a support portion, and a coupler for engaging a central extension of the flange to allow the flange to be supported in an upright position.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SPOOLING AND UNSPOOLING LINEAR MATERIAL
Apparatus and methods are disclosed related to spooling and unspooling linear material. Such apparatus and methods can assist the user in deploying and/or retracting linear material.
Independently rotatable flanges and attachable arbor hole adapters
A pair of flanges attachable to the arbor hole of a reel is disclosed. The flanges provide a mechanism to allow the reel to be easily loaded, and lifted into place. Once loaded into place, the flanges may include a locking mechanism that locks the reel in place, centered on the flanges. Additionally, the flanges are attachable using a hub that allows them to rotate independently from one another, and from the reel to which they are attached.
Method and apparatus for producing battery separator roll
The present invention provides a long separator roll. A method according to the present invention for producing a battery separator roll includes a connecting step of connecting two or more separators (12b and 12c) to each other along a lengthwise direction so that the battery separator roll is produced.
Mobile hose reel
A mobile hose reel traversable between a mobile mode and a stationary mode. The mobile hose reel comprises a first side frame assembly having a first rotatable side wall and a first side frame assembly elongated body. The first side frame assembly elongated body is slidably engaged with at least a portion of the first rotatable side wall and is configured to secure to a first pair of stability members. A second side frame assembly comprises a second rotatable side wall and a second side frame assembly elongated body. The second side frame assembly elongated body is slidably engaged with at least a portion of the second rotatable side wall and is configured to secure to a second pair of stability members. Traversal of the first and second side assemblies upwardly or downwardly about a longitudinal axis traverses the mobile hose reel between a mobile orientation and a stationary orientation.

PORTABLE GENERATOR RETRACTABLE POWER CORD
A portable power distribution system is provided that may include a portable generator and one or more retractable power cords in order to simplify the process of storing power cords associated with the system while the portable generator is moved from one location to another. Some or all of the retractable power cords may be removably attached to the portable generator, or some or all of the retractable power cords may be permanently attached to the portable generator. The system may include additional features to optimize performance, including color-coded power cords, a storage compartment, various lighting components, displays to enhance user experience, load shedding features, a power switch associated with each cord, and a cooling system such as an airflow management system. A method of using the system is also provided.
