Transfer device for maintaining an electrical or optical connection
A transfer device for limiting a twisting of a link between an end of the fixed link with respect to a fixed part and an end of the fixed link with respect to a revolving part that can revolve with respect to the fixed part about an axis of rotation, the transfer device for a link includes a composite drum comprising a set of drums aligned on the axis of rotation about which the link can be wound, the set of drums comprising a fixed drum intended to be secured to the fixed part in rotation about the axis of rotation, a revolving drum intended to be able to revolve about the axis x with respect to the fixed part and a set of at least one loose drum interposed between the fixed drum and the revolving drum, each loose drum being free to rotate about the axis of rotation with respect to the revolving drum and the fixed drum and having a height on the axis.
Inner drum module with push-cable interface for pipe inspection
A pipe inspection system includes a cable storage drum and a housing configured to removably receive and rotatably support the cable storage drum. A push-cable with a plurality of conductors is stored in the drum. An inspection camera may be attached to a distal end of the push-cable. The drum includes a hollow core outer cone configured to accept an inner core removable module. The removable module may include electrical, mechanical, wireless, satellite, and power/battery interfaces. The module mates with a contact plate sealed inside the inner cone. The inner core components, including the battery module, are stationary relative to the inner core. The inner core is free to rotate bidirectionally inside the outer cone as the camera is being fed into, and out of a pipe or conduit for inspection. Slip-rings are not required to maintain connectivity because the electronics and battery module are stationary relative to each other.
WINDING UNIT FOR A CABLE
A winding unit for a vehicle charging cable includes a rotationally symmetrical winding element, a rotationally symmetrical inner body, and a rotationally symmetrical outlet disc. The winding element has a first winding area, onto which a cable can be wound, and a second winding area in a radial peripheral area of the winding unit. The second winding area is arranged adjacent to the first winding area, so that a cable can be wound in the second winding area from an area close to the first winding area one above the other in the direction of the outlet disc in the opposite direction to a winding direction in the first winding area. In addition, the outlet disc can be rotated a predetermined number of revolutions together with the winding element and can then be blocked so that a cable is pushed out of the outlet opening.
Compact high fidelity reel
A retractable cord reel houses contacts that connect autonomously when the user aligns the spool to lock it from retracting. The spool and housing contains high quality, sensitive contacts for high speed data and other critical signals that engage when indexed by the user. The design is flexible for adaptation to a variety of applications and scalable based on cable type and length as well as the number of contacts required. The contacts are engaged when the user allows an indexing dog to engage a spool indexing housing causing the dog to shift and force a mating lever to make the electrical connection. Decoupling occurs instantly when the spool is slightly rotated by the user. The user's only action throughout the process is to pull the cable. Without this intentional action of the user, the spool, rotates freely and the contacts are not engaged.
Energy supply system
An energy supply system includes a cable store for winding and unwinding an energy cable about a winding center of the cable store. A carrier is provided for the energy cable, and the cable store has an opening for the inlet and outlet of the carrier and the energy cable. The carrier can be guided through the opening in order to guide the carrier and the energy cable in sections in the cable store to the winding center of the cable store over a first guide path through a first guide arc, over a second guide path which adjoins the first guide arc, through a second guide arc, and over a third guide path which adjoins the second guide arc and lies further inwards relative to the winding center than the first guide path using guides.
Winding drum and torsion spring for a winding drum
A winding drum for a line and/or for a line guide device which is adapted to receive and guide at least one line, wherein the drum is rotatable about the longitudinal axis thereof, wherein a first end region of the line and/or line guide device is or can be fixed to the drum and the line and/or line guide device can be wound on to and unwound from the drum by rotation of the winding drum in a winding-on and an unwinding direction about the drum longitudinal axis, wherein there is provided a drive device engaging the winding drum in order upon rotation of the drum in the unwinding direction thereof to exert a return force on the drum for rotation thereof in the winding-on direction. The drive device is in the form of a torsion spring which upon rotation of the drum in the unwinding direction is subjected to torsional stress and by virtue of the torsional stress exerts a torque on the drum for rotation thereof in the winding-on direction and the torsional stress exerts the return force on the drum.
