LINE FIXING DEVICE
A line fixing device includes a first housing, a second housing disposed to face the first housing, and a fixing member at least partially provided between the first housing and the second housing and configured to hold and fix a line. The fixing member includes a base portion, a column portion, protruding from a center of the base portion, around which the line is to be wound, and a plurality of latching protrusions disposed at predetermined intervals along an outer periphery of the base portion and configured to hold and fix a portion of the line which is not wound around the column portion. The latching protrusions have a tapered shape with a diameter gradually decreasing away from the base portion.
Receptacle with pivoting closure
A receptacle providing secure protection for its contents and comprising a housing with an opening, and a cover member pivotably attached to the housing to move between a closed position and an opened position. In the closed position, a locking mechanism may lock the housing and cover into engagement. In the open position, convenient access is provided to the interior of the housing and the contents. The cover member may be equipped with a retaining member for wrapping wires or cables in an organized fashion.
Collapsible cord spool
A collapsible cord spool 100 includes a base 102, defining one or more pivots 104, 106, and mounted to a power converter block 108 having a cord 110. The collapsible cord spool 100 further defines first and second cord cleats 112, 114. The first and second cord cleats 112, 114 include opposed projections 116, 118. The first and second cord cleats 112, 114 are movable about one or more pivots 104, 106 and may be stowed or deployed. In the deployed position, the first and second cord cleats 112, 114 define a cord wrapping region 302 to receive windings of the cord 110.
Conductor winding tool and battery charger having the same
A conductor winding tool configured to stow a flexible electrical conductor, such as a conductor attached to an automotive battery charger. The tool includes a handle that is configured to be grasped by a human hand and a body defining an aperture through which the flexible electrical conductor passes. The tool is used to stow the flexible electrical conductor by winding the flexible electrical conductor into a storage device, such as a spool, reel, or storage bag.
Cord storage device
A cord storage device has a base member with two sides, and a plug receptacle extending from one side. The plug receptacle anchors a plug end of an electronic device cord and forms a core about which the cord can be wound. A flexible retaining wall is coupled to the base member and moves between a closed position on the one side and an open position on the other side of the base member. In the closed position, an annular space is formed for the wound cord.
Cord management devices and methods
A cord spool may have a generally cylindrical primary element made of flexible material, which may have first and second primary element openings. The primary element may further include a central exterior portion between first and second raised portions. The primary element may further include an interior portion dimensioned and configured to accept a fixture. The cord spool also may have at least one flexible strap securely affixed to and extending through the interior portion of the primary element and extending beyond the first and second openings of the primary element. The strap may have first and second strap ends with first and second fasteners. The strap may be dimensioned and configured to allow the first and second strap ends to be releasably secured to one another, forming a cord securing loop.
INFUSION SET IMPROVEMENTS
A method and device for adjusting the unstored length of tubing directed to improving the use of infusion sets that deliver fluids to a user. The device includes a storage module and other features for adjusting, storing and securing the length of the tubing. The method of adjusting the length of the tubing to a desired length typically comprises removably attaching the tubing to the adjuster, adjusting the tubing by wrapping the tubing around a hub or post of the adjuster, and fixing the length of the unstored tubing by attaching the tubing to a securing device such as a friction structure or fastener.
OBLONG CABLE SPOOL
The invention is an oblong cable spool with an internal perimeter defining a hollow that is disposable to retain a rigid portion of a device-cable assembly, such as an ear-bud assembly, where the cable can be spooled around a spooling surface, making the combined assembly of spool and device-cable assembly suitable for the compact organization, spooling, storage and transport of a device-cable assembly.
CABLE SPOOL
The invention is a circular cable spool with an internal perimeter disposable to retain a power adaptor at its distal portions by friction fit. In most embodiments, sidewalls of the spool will extend axially and distally from opposite ends of the circular spooling surface, disposed to spool and retain a cable between them. Power adaptors intended for electronic devices are, in general, nominally square or rectangular in profile (typically box-like in volume), whether the corners of the adaptors have radii or not. In order to retain a square power adaptor within a round interior perimeter, the adaptor must be held at its distal portions by friction, generally at its corner portions, to the interior perimeter of the spool. Accommodations in the design of the cable spool allow the tangs of the power adaptor to straddle the spool, by limiting the thickness of the spool to fit between the tangs, as provided by a radius between the interior perimeter and a sidewall, and further by including a relief slot in a sidewall or interior perimeter that facilitates insertion of the adaptor within the interior perimeter of the spool. Accommodating the tangs to fit around the spool in such as manner in measure to facilitate the assembly of the adaptor within the interior perimeter provides a more compact assembly, desirable for transporting portable devices and their cables and adaptors together in an organized fashion.
