CONTROLLED ROTATIONAL MEASURING HEAD AND SPOOLING SYSTEM FOR STRINGS CONFIGURED TO DELIVER AND RETRIEVE DOWNHOLE TOOLS AND METHOD OF ITS USE
Embodiments of a downhole tool spooling system of a spooled downhole tool string include an actuator connected to a measuring head of the string and configured to provide for controlled rotation of the measuring head. The measuring head may include more than one sheave, with the string being off vertical center when passing through the head. A controller may send a signal to the actuator to rotate the measuring head about a vertical axis of the head into different rotational positions. The actuator also may be configured to linearly move the measuring head in the transverse direction. The system may also include a spooling drum that is configured to rotate about its central vertical axis. The guide frame to which the actuator is connected may be a fixed guide frame or may be an adjustable guide frame that provides for vertical movement of the frame, a tilting movement, or both.
Irrigation system hose-pull apparatus
A hose-pull apparatus for mounting to an irrigation system mobile tower supporting a fluid-carrying conduit. The hose-pull apparatus includes a swivel, a first pipe section, a joint, and a second pipe section. The swivel is configured to be in fluid communication with the conduit and rotate about a vertical axis. The first pipe section has a first end connected to the swivel and a second end extending outwardly from the swivel so that the first pipe section can pivot horizontally. The joint is connected to the second end of the first pipe section. The second pipe section has a first end connected to the joint so that the second pipe section can articulate relative to the first pipe section. The joint also has a second end configured to be in fluid communication with a supply hose.
Drill-powered drip tape winder and method of use
A drip tape winder for easily and cost-effectively rolling lengths of drip tape in the field is described. The winder comprises a frame and a mandrel rotatably received in the frame and utilizes a battery powered drill to provide the power necessary to turn the mandrel and neatly wind lengths of drip tape thereon.
System and method for handling reel of pipe
A system includes a frame and a first pair of rollers coupled to a first side of the frame. The first pair of rollers is configured to support a first end of a pipe reel. The system also includes a first cradle disposed longitudinally between the first pair of rollers and a second pair of rollers coupled to a second side of the frame. The second pair of rollers is configured to support a second end of a pipe reel. The system also includes a second cradle disposed longitudinally between the second pair of rollers, a pipe guide coupled to a third side of the frame between the first and second sides, a pipe brake coupled to the frame, and a pipe re-spooler coupled to the frame.
Compact urinary catheter
A urinary catheter system includes a catheter, a sheath, an enclosure and a plug. The catheter has distal and proximal ends. The sheath is slidable along the catheter between first and second positions. The enclosure encloses a majority of the catheter and includes a bottom member, a top member, an outer peripheral wall defining an outer hole to allow advancement of the distal end, and an inner peripheral wall defining an inner hole, where the catheter is extendable through the inner hole. Rotating the top or bottom member relative to the other member causes the catheter to wind within the enclosure. The plug can seal the proximal end to block liquid flow, and a user can disengage the plug to allow liquid flow.
Offshore hose loading station apparatus and system
The present invention is an apparatus, system and method for use of an offshore hose loading station comprising multiple modular reel assemblies that may be selectively configured to a frame attached to a ship and or vessel wherein the reel assemblies may be powered by one motor and engaged for rotation by one shaft and provides a jumper shaft for when a module is taken out of line.
A DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING AND OPERATING A CABLE DRUM AND A SERVICE TRAILER COMPRISING SAID DEVICE
Invention relates to a device for supporting and operating a cable drum, equipped with a rectangular frame and a locking-release mechanism, including a sliding carriage equipped with tensioning that is mounted on the main frame. The sliding carriage is in the shape of a rectangle, open on one side, which is the front part of a sliding carriage, in addition, the main frame is equipped with a locking-release mechanism mounted on both sides. In the center of the front transverse part of the main frame there is a winch connected to the drive; in the longitudinal part, the main frame consists of two parallel semi-closed channels, and in the center of each semi-closed channel of the longitudinal part of the main frame there are support rollers, which are attached to a sliding carriage mounted on the main frame; a triangular boom with swivel arms is mounted in the front, open part of the sliding carriage by means of bolts; in the upper part of each of the swivel arms of the triangular boom.
REEL ASSEMBLY FOR A HOUSING
A reel assembly (100) for coupling within a housing (160) includes an axle (110) and a reel (120) defining a rotational axis (X-X). The reel (120) is rotatably mounted around the axle (110) to allow winding of a flexible linear component (130) on the reel (120). The reel assembly (100) further includes a frame (140) which houses the reel (120). Moreover, the reel assembly (100) includes one or more fixing units (150) to removably fix the reel assembly (100) inside the housing (160). The reel assembly (100) is characterized in that the reel assembly (100) further includes a blocking mechanism (170) that operatively couples with the reel assembly (100) and cooperates with the reel (120) for selective rotation of the reel (120). The blocking mechanism (170) disallows rotation of the reel (120) in absence of coupling of the reel assembly (100) within the housing (160).
AUTOMATIC WATERCRAFT COVER AND RECEIVING SYSTEM
The cover delivery device (e.g., for use in selectably covering a watercraft) can include a first mobile support assembly, a second mobile support assembly, a drive shaft, and a cover carrier mechanism.
