Smart mosquito trap
A system for luring pests including a pest detector and a pest lure. The pest detector may be adapted to generate a type detection signal having a value indicative of a type of a pest in proximity to the pest detector. The pest lure may be in electrical communication with the pest detector and adapted to activate responsive to the type detection signal.
COMBINATION BUILT-IN AIR FLOW MECHANISM, GROW LIGHTING AND BUG KILLER
Disclosed embodiments relate to a combination axial fan, LED lighting system and electric blue killer. The disclosed systems may include a housing forming an air chamber and an axial fan. The fan may include a fan cavity having an air diversion mechanism to direct air from the fan cavity toward the lighting, fan and electric bug killing components. The inventions include an airflow surface to direct air existing the fan cavity along an LED light fixture. The LED light fixture emits a blue or light blue light which attracts bugs. Moreover, disclosed embodiments include one or more electric bug killing devices to kill any bugs as air flows through the air chamber. The present invention may also include grow light fixture in the housing.
Object detection systems
Object detection systems are provided herein. An example system includes an enclosure formed by a sidewall to define an interaction volume, at least one light source for illuminating the interaction volume with a light, at least one light sensor that senses disturbances in light intensity due to scattering, reflection, or absorption of the light by objects within the interaction volume, and a controller that is configured to detect an object or object behavior within interaction volume based on the disturbances in the light intensity.

INSECT VACUUM AND TRAP ATTACHMENT SYSTEMS
An insect vacuum and trap attachment system can include a tubular member having an elongate channel that extends along an outer surface of the tubular member. The system can also include a suction member that slideably receives the tubular member. The suction member can have a narrowed open tip that receives insects and a stem that extends along at least an outer surface of the suction member. The stem can be slideably received by the elongate channel to enable the suction member to slide with respect to the tubular member. The system can include a catch that protrudes from the stem. The catch may be arranged and configured to receive a portion of an insect filter pod and thereby couple the insect filter pod between the tubular member and the suction member.
OBJECT IMAGE RECOGNITION AND INSTANT ACTIVE RESPONSE WITH ENHANCED APPLICATION AND UTILITY
A device for detecting offending features on individual granular objects or small objects. The device uses an image capturing system to scan batches of granular or small objects such as wheat, grain, rice, seeds, legumes or nuts to detect any undesirable feature such as disease, mold or spoilage. An action head on the device is configured to automatically respond once an undesirable feature is identified. The action head may capture the individual objects having undesirable features or it may cast them aside.

INSECT TRAP
An insect trap including a light source part to emit a light, a fan disposed under the light source part, a housing to accommodate the fan, and a trapping part disposed under the fan and coupled to the housing. The trapping part includes a trapping net including an opening facing the fan, a body frame coupled to the trapping net, at least one first rib crossing the body frame, and a shutter part coupled to the body frame to be spaced apart from the first rib and opened or closed depending on an operation of the fan.
GRASSHOPPER HARVESTING SYSTEM
A grasshopper harvesting system for collecting grasshoppers featuring a vehicle, a collection array, a transfer mechanism, and a storage container or shredder. The system can be attached to an existing vehicle such as a tractor, ATV, truck, or a GPS-controlled autonomous vehicle that can be programmed to collect grasshoppers according to a particular desired route of a particular field, to protect crops or for consumption purposes. Further, the system may feature a detachable bin that empties the grasshoppers when the bin is full. The system may collect grasshopper pests in organic fields, reduce locust swarm densities in breeding grounds, and harvest grasshoppers from rangeland. The grasshoppers may either be destroyed or processed as edible insects for food and feed.
Induction detector systems
A device for use in detecting metallic objects includes a processor and an electromagnetic radiation source in communication with the processor. The electromagnetic radiation source is configured to emit radiation to heat a metallic object. The device also includes a temperature sensor in communication with the processor. The temperature sensor is configured to detect heat emitted from the metallic object. The device also includes an alarm configured to notify an operator of the presence of the metallic object responsive to a determination by the processor that a temperature threshold has been exceeded.
