Two-part spindle mechanism for a printer paper bucket, a printer paper bucket, and a printer having a paper bucket with a two-part spindle mechanism
Methods and apparatus for supporting a paper roll in a paper bucket of a printer are provided. The paper bucket may comprise a curved base portion for accepting paper rolls of varying widths, two oppositely disposed side walls movably mounted to the curved base portion, and a two-part spring-loaded spindle assembly extending through each of the side walls and adapted to support a paper roll therebetween. Each spindle assembly may comprise a first spring loaded spindle part and a second spring loaded spindle part movably connected to one another.
Roll paper holder
A roll paper holder is provided which rotatably holds belt-like paper to be conveyed towards a printing section when a roll of paper is obtained by winding the paper on an upstream side in a conveyance direction with respect to the printing section. The roll paper holder includes a side wall section in contact with both side ends of the roll of paper in a width direction to prevent the roll of paper from moving in the width direction. The holder further includes at least one protrusion located outside a range where it can contact with the side end of the roll paper to be held having the largest diameter in the side wall section. The at least one protrusion is configured to protrude by a predetermined dimension from a portion contacting with the side end to control a position of the paper in the width direction.
Core for Wrap Dispenser and Method of Its Use
A film roll compatible with a wrap dispenser comprising a core with a first end with a notch, a second end with a notch, an outer surface and a lumen, a stretch film wrapped around the core, a wrap dispenser comprising a first frame member and a second frame member, a handle connecting the first frame member to the second frame member, a first roller operationally associated with a second roller with each being connected to the first frame member and the second frame member, an upper boss secured to the first frame member with one or more lugs emanating out of the upper boss, a boss handle operationally associated with the upper boss allowing for the raising and lowering of the upper boss, and a lower boss secured to the second frame member with one or more lugs emanating out of the lower boss.
UNWINDING OR WINDING ROLLS OF PRINT SUBSTRATE
In one example, a device for unwinding or winding multiple rolls of print substrate includes multiple spindles each to hold a roll of print substrate and a differential operatively connected to one end of each spindle. The spindles are aligned with one another lengthwise along a spindle axis and the differential is to output torque along a differential axis offset from the spindle axis to turn the spindles on the first axis.
Belt press filter belt changing assembly
A belt press filter belt changing assembly that includes two upright members, a wrap bar, a dowel rod, and a means of temporarily affixing the assembly to a belt press filter. The belt press filter changing assembly facilitates rapid, efficient, and safe changing of the belt press filter's continuous belts while requiring less personnel using less physical exertion than current solutions.
Foil dispensing device
A foil dispensing device for on demand dispensing of sections of foil of a selectable length includes a housing comprising a lid that is hingedly engaged to a box so that the lid is positioned to selectively close an open top of the box. A motor is engaged to and positioned the box. A spindle is positionable in box to operationally engage the spindle to the motor. A roll of foil is positioned around spindle so that a free end of the roll of extends into a slot positioned in the housing. A motion sensor engaged to the housing and operationally engaged to the motor is actuated by motion of a hand of a user to signal the motor to rotate the spindle to dispense a section of the foil through the slot. A cutter positioned by the slot cuts the foil to separate the section from the roll.
ROLL MEDIUM FEEDING SHAFT
According to an aspect of the invention, a roll medium feeding shaft to be inserted into a through hole of a roll medium formed by winding a long recording medium is provided. The roll medium feeding shaft includes a holding member configured to be inserted into the through hole and to be rotated about a rotary axis together with the roll medium, a support part provided to one end of the roll medium feeding shaft and configured to support the holding member in a vertical direction when placed on a horizontal surface, and a shaft provided inside the holding member.
SPINDLE AND RECORDING DEVICE
To provide a spindle supporting a roll body on which a sheet-shaped medium is wound and rotationally driving the roll body. The spindle includes a shaft member to be inserted into the roll body, a gear fixed on a tip side of the shaft member in an axial direction, a spacer member contacting both of the shaft member and the gear, and a coupling member coupling the shaft member to the gear. In the axial direction of the shaft member, a contact area of the spacer member and the gear is larger than a contact area of the shaft member and the spacer member. The gear is coupled to the coupling member in the axial direction and the shaft member is coupled to the coupling member in an intersecting direction intersecting the axial direction.
