This present invention is directed to a method for the production and use of the leaf and/or leaves and/or stem(s) and/or stalk(s) of plants of the cannabis species for animal, microbial, bacteria, fungi or human consumption as a food, supplement, medicine, beverage.

AEROSOL GENERATING DEVICE AND AEROSOL GENERATING ARTICLE

An aerosol generating article includes an aerosol generator including a first aerosol generating material which does not include nicotine; a tobacco filler arranged adjacent to an end of the aerosol generator and including a second aerosol generating material including nicotine; a cooler arranged adjacent to an end of the tobacco filler and configured to cool aerosol; and a mouth piece arranged adjacent to an end of the cooler.

NICOTINE-CONTAINING AGGLOMERATES AND METHODS OF FORMING THE SAME

A method for preparing nicotine-containing agglomerates includes introducing a solid particulate into a fluid bed granulator, and introducing a binder solution into the fluid bed granulator such that the binder solution contacts the solid particulate. The solid particulate and/or binder solution may be introduced into the fluid bed granulator in parts, concurrently or in series. The binder solution includes a binder material and a solvent, which may include water. Introducing the binder solution into the fluid bed granulator may include spraying the binder solution into a fluid bed of the fluid bed granulator during circulation of the fluid bed and materials therein, such as the solid particulate. The fluid bed may further include a filler material and/or an additive. The filler material and/or the additive may be introduced into the fluid bed granulator prior to, concurrently with, or subsequent to the addition of the solid particulate and/or binder solution.

SPRAY DRIED NICOTINE FOR INCLUSION IN ORAL PRODUCTS

A method for preparing the nicotine-containing powder includes dissolving a carrier in a solvent to form a first solution, where the carrier includes a biopolymer, a natural polymer, a synthetic polymer, a bulk sweetener, or any combination thereof; contacting the first solution with nicotine, a nicotine complex, a nicotine salt, or any combination thereof to form a second mixture; and spray drying the second mixture to form a plurality of particles that define the nicotine-containing powder. The method may further include adding at least one of a pH modifier and an antioxidant to the second mixture. When the solvent includes water, an inlet temperature ranges from 120° C. to 210° C. and an initial product temperature ranges from 25° C. to 100° C. When the solvent includes ethanol, the inlet temperature ranges from 65° C. to 180° C. and an initial product temperature ranges from 25° C. to 79° C.

The disclosure provides chewable nicotine formulations comprising an orally-acceptable nicotine salt, an orally-acceptable alcohol, flavor components, and an orally-acceptable binder in a water-permeable, water-insoluble pouch, together with methods of making and using the same.

ARECOLINE SALT AND PREPARATION METHOD AND PRODUCT THEREOF

This application provides an arecoline salt and a preparation method and a product thereof. The arecoline salt is a benzoate of arecoline, with a structural formula shown as follows:

##STR00001##

where X is a molar ratio of arecoline to benzoic acid. The arecoline salt, with good physicochemical stability, is convenient to use and widely used.

ORAL PRODUCTS WITH NICOTINE-POLYMER COMPLEX

Products containing a nicotine-polymer complex are provided herein, which can optionally further include one or more, different nicotine components. Certain such products are pouched products including an outer water-permeable pouch defining a cavity containing a composition comprising a water-soluble component capable of being released through the water-permeable pouch. The disclosure further provides methods of preparing such products.
