Sheet discharge device and image forming apparatus
In a post-processing device (sheet discharge device), a pile thickness calculating section calculates, from a type and the number of paper sheets discharged through a sheet output port, a thickness of a pile, at its leading end, of sets of paper sheets on a sheet output tray (piling section), calculates a thickness of the pile, at its trailing end, of sets of paper sheets on the sheet output tray from an amount of movement of a lifting section, and calculates an angle of inclination of the uppermost set of paper sheets in the pile from the thicknesses of the pile at its leading and trailing ends, a height of inclination of the sheet output tray, and a length of the paper sheets. The control section controls the sheet discharge section to change a manner of discharging a subsequent set of paper sheets according to the calculated angle of inclination.
SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A control portion controls a distance H and/or a shift amount L1 such that a relationship of L<HL+L1 holds, where L is a length of each sheet among the sheet bundle in the conveyance direction, H is a distance from the conveyance roller pair to an end regulation member in the conveyance direction, and L1 is a shift amount between a first sheet among the sheet bundle and a second sheet adjacent the first sheet. The second sheet is conveyed toward the end regulation member by the conveyance roller pair in the state in which the leading edge of the preceding sheet is in contact with the end regulation member.
Sheet sorting apparatus
A sheet sorting apparatus includes a discharge port through which sheets are discharged, a stacking tray on which the sheets discharged from the discharge port are stacked, a sheet sorting member provided on a stacking surface on which the sheets of the stacking tray are stacked, and an operation mechanism for operating the sheet sorting member. The sheet sorting member is provided to be able to rise from the stacking surface by employing one end of the sheet sorting member as a pivot point, at a position at which the sheets fall from the discharge port. The sheet sorting member rises from the stacking surface by the operation mechanism, thereby forming an inclined surface, guiding the sheets placed on the inclined surface along the inclined surface, and shifting the sheets stacked on the stacking tray to a discharge direction of the sheets and a direction perpendicular to the discharge direction.
Image forming apparatus and sheet storage device
In an image forming apparatus including an apparatus body, an image forming portion, a conveyance unit, a storage portion, a sheet movement unit, a memory portion, and a control portion, in a case where an image forming instruction to perform image formation on a sheet has been received, the control portion provides notification of a plurality of discharging methods of storing the sheet which is an object of the image forming instruction, into the storage portion and then exposing the sheet outside of the apparatus body via an opening of the storage portion, based on first information stored in the memory portion and second information about the sheet which is an object of the image forming instruction, and controls the conveyance unit and the sheet movement unit based on a discharging method selected from among the plurality of discharging methods.
Sheet conveyance apparatus and image forming system
A sheet conveyance apparatus includes first and second conveyance paths, a conveyance roller pair, first and second conveyance guides, and a holding unit. The reverse unit reverses a sheet having passed through the first conveyance path. The second conveyance path conveys the sheet having passed through the first conveyance path between the reverse unit and the first conveyance path. The conveyance roller pair nips and convey the reversed sheet. The first conveyance guide forms the second conveyance path and the second conveyance guide forms the second conveyance path. The holding unit moveably holds the first conveyance guide. The first conveyance guide moves between a first position located at a first distance from the second conveyance guide and a second position located at a second distance. The sheet reversed by the reverse unit is conveyed toward the conveyance roller pair by the first conveyance guide located at the first position.
