The device (12) comprises a main pile supporting unit (18) having a supporting surface (22) adapted to support a pallet (16) carrying a sheet pile. Furthermore, the device (12) comprises a residual pile supporting unit (24) with a plurality of residual pile bars (28), which can be moved into a sheet pile region (30) when the sheet pile is to be changed. The residual pile bars (28) are then carrying the sheet pile. When in the sheet pile region (30), each of the residual pile bars (28) is movable in a direction substantially orthogonal to the supporting surface (22), wherein the residual pile bars (28) are movable independently from each other. Furthermore, a method for changing the sheet pile in a sheet feeder (10) for a sheet treating machine is explained.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STACKING TWO-DIMENSIONAL MATERIAL SHEETS, AND PRINTINGAND/OR COATING MACHINE
20200255249 · 2020-08-13 ·

Two-dimensional material sheets are stacked in a stacking device. One of a printing machine and a coating machine has at least one stacking unit having a stacking space. Material sheets are conveyed, via the stacking space of the stacking unit, comprised by the stacking device, and are deposited into a stack on top of one another on a loading aid. For two different production runs, the stacks are formed on the loading aid with the four corners of their areas in mutually different relative orientations with respect to the loading aid, which is arranged, in each case, in the stacking space of the stacking unit and is larger-format compared with the material sheets to be deposited in each case. For the two production runs, in each case, one loading aid of the same format is positioned on different positions, as seen in projection in the horizontal, in the stacking space of the stacking unit.

Apparatus for automatically unstacking a pallet on which at least two stacks of blanks are arranged

Apparatus for automatically unstacking a pallet on which at least two stacks of blanks are arranged. The apparatus comprises an unstacking station which is configured for receiving a pallet on which are arranged at least two stacks of blanks in collapsed condition. The unstacking station is further configured for taking off one by one individual blanks from the at least two stacks of blanks which are on a pallet received in the unstacking station. The apparatus further includes a feed track for conveying pallets. The feed track links up by a discharge end with the unstacking station for the purpose of feeding a pallet with stacks of blanks to be unstacked to the unstacking station. Further, the apparatus includes a blank main discharge assembly for discharging individual blanks to a further processing station.

METHOD OF DEPOSITING WET PRINTED SHEETS AND FORMING A SHEET STACK

A method for depositing wet printed sheets and forming a sheet stack in a delivery of a printing machine. An auxiliary stack which is separate from the sheet stack has sheet-shaped intermediate layers that are usable as moisture barriers in the sheet stack. A plurality of sheets are stacked on top of one another to form a first section of the sheet stack. Then an intermediate layer is moved from the auxiliary stack onto the section of the sheet stack. A plurality of sheets are stacked on top of one another and on the intermediate layer to form a further section. The intermediate layer is thus arranged in the sheet stack between the first section and the further section. The placement of the intermediate layers provides a way of reducing or even eliminating quality losses in sheets and/or sheet stacks caused by moisture and moisture exchange.
