Dual vacuum belt system with adjustable inter-copy gap
A sheet transport apparatus includes a first belt having a first pattern of first vacuum holes, and a second belt having a second pattern of second vacuum holes. The first belt is positioned on and contacts the second belt. The first belt contacts sheets to be transported. When transporting the sheets on the first belt separated by spaces between the sheets, the first pulleys and second pulleys rotate together and the first belt and the second belt move together. When not transporting the sheets, a controller controls pulleys to move the first belt relative to the second belt so as to leave blocked-hole regions of the first belt where the spaces between the sheets are located. The blocked-hole regions are locations of the first belt where the first vacuum holes are unaligned with the second vacuum holes and the first vacuum holes are blocked by the second belt.

An apparatus for forming and sorting informational items comprises a folding unit, a conveyor belt, a camera, a controller, and a diverter assembly. The folding unit forms a folded article from a sheet of paper. The conveyor belt transports the folded article. The camera captures an image of the folded article as it passes by the camera. The controller receives and processes the image, and the diverter assembly causes the folded article to move off of the conveyor belt when the controller determines that the folded article fails to satisfy at least one predetermined criteria.
FEEDER MODULE
The present invention relates to a feeder module for a converting machine, the feeder module comprises an upper feeder assembly, and a lower feeder assembly comprising a loading surface configured to receive a stack of sheets. The upper feeder assembly (20) comprises a gauge (32), wherein a distance (d1) between a vertical distal end of the gauge and the loading surface defines a clearance through which a lowermost positioned sheet in the stack can pass at a time. A feed roll assembly (34) located downstream of the gauge comprises an upper feed roller (35a) and a lower feed roller (35b). The lower feeder assembly (22) and the lower feed roller are displaceable in the vertical direction.

A processing apparatus for a vacuum heat-insulating plate, an aerogel-modified polyurethane foam thermal insulation plate, and a preparation method therefor are disclosed. The processing apparatus includes a first frame, a conveying mechanism disposed on the first frame, two edge-pulling mechanisms arranged as mirror images on the two sides of the conveying mechanism, two adhesive tape machines arranged as mirror images on the two sides of the conveying mechanism, and an edge-folding mechanism disposed above the conveying mechanism. The edge-pulling mechanisms, the edge-folding mechanism, and the adhesive tape machines are sequentially arranged along the conveying direction of the conveying mechanism. The aerogel-modified polyurethane foam thermal insulation plate of the present invention includes a polyurethane foam core and at least one thermal insulation pack, the polyurethane foam wraps the thermal insulation pack, and the volume ratio of the thermal insulation pack in the thermal insulation plate is 10%-90%.

Provided is a sheet folding apparatus including: a transport unit configured to transport a sheet bundle in a transport direction; a stopper arranged at a stop position, the front end of the sheet bundle being abutted against the stopper; a restriction part configured to restrict deformation in a height direction of the sheet bundle abutted against the stopper; a pushing roller configured to generate pushing force for pushing the front end of the sheet bundle against a transport face; and a roller motion mechanism configured to move the pushing roller between a protruding position upstream of the stop position and a retracted position spaced apart from the protruding position, and the roller motion mechanism moves the pushing roller from the protruding position to the retracted position after the front end of the sheet bundle transported by the transport unit reaches the pushing roller.

An electrode sheet transporting apparatus includes a first transporting conveyor having a supply area receiving an electrode sheet, the first transporting conveyor being configured to transport the electrode sheet in a first direction, a supply member configured to supply the electrode sheet to the supply area, a lighting member configured to radiate light to the supply area, and a sensing member facing the lighting member, the sensing member being configured to detect light reflected from the electrode sheet on the supply area.
