AIR-BASED PHOTORECEPTOR SHEET STRIPPER
Printing apparatuses include (among other components) a photoreceptor (that is adapted to contact and transfer marking material to a printing side of sheets of media), a transport belt adjacent the photoreceptor, a baffle, and an air outlet. The sheets of media are moved by the photoreceptor across a gap to the transport belt in a “processing direction.” The baffle is adjacent the back side of the sheets of media (the side that is opposite to the printing side of the sheets of media). The air outlet is also positioned adjacent the back side of the sheets of media, and the air outlet is adapted to direct a stream of air along the baffle and between the baffle and the back side of the sheets of media to lift the sheets of media off the photoreceptor without damaging the sheets of media or disturbing the unfused marking material thereon.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR STACKING CARD-LIKE DATA CARRIERS
The invention relates to a device and a method for stacking card-like data carriers. The device comprises (i) a conveying device for transporting individual card-like data carriers downstream along a conveying path and (ii) a stacking unit for selectively transferring and stacking card-like data carriers conveyed along the conveying path. The conveying device is arranged to convey the card-like data carriers in such a way that they are fixed to it in a hanging mode of transport. The stacking unit is arranged to selectively release certain ones of the card-like data carriers conveyed along the conveying device from the latter in order to transfer them directly—i. e. in particular without intermediate processing, intermediate transport or intermediate storage—into a card magazine and to stack them therein when the card magazine is arranged in a stacking area at a stacking position which, in relation to the direction of gravity, is situated below the conveying path.

Method and apparatus for folding and opening-up wipes
Apparatus is provided for manufacturing a wipe in a three dimensional form out of an essentially flat piece of material. The apparatus produces a blank (12) of essentially flat planar form with a pleat folded on each side. The folded blanks are fed by a conveyor belt (21) to an opening station (22). The opening station comprises a pair of movable pinch rollers (34, 35) which selectively grab individual blanks from the conveyor belt and feed them via belts (32, 33) to a pair of counter-rotating drums (30, 31). The blanks are ejected from the drums, which partially opens them up in the process. The partially open blanks are fed onto a shaped former (37), where the final process of forming the wipe into its chosen three dimensional form is completed.

Medium processing apparatus, post-processing apparatus, and medium transporting apparatus
A suction mechanism for suctioning a loop transporting belt a medium processed by a processing unit, a rotation mechanism for rotating the transporting belt, a stacker for stacking the medium transported by the transporting belt, and a change mechanism for changing a movable area are included. The rotation mechanism, after suctioning the medium to the transporting belt to rotate in a first rotation direction to transport the medium in a first transport direction, rotates the transporting belt in a second rotation direction to transport the medium in a second transport direction to stack the medium on a stacker. The change mechanism narrows a movable area when the medium is transported in the second transport direction compared to an area when the medium is transported in the first transport direction.

INVERSION TRANSFER MODULE FOR A CONVERTING MACHINE
The present invention relates to an inversion transfer module (60) for a converting machine having a printing module (16) comprising a first printing unit (17) arranged to print on a top side (S1) of the sheet (1), and a second printing unit (17) arranged to print a bottom side (S2) of the sheet. The inversion transfer module is arranged between the first printing unit and the second printing unit and comprises a first inversion vacuum transfer (62) arranged to contact the first side of the sheet and a second inversion vacuum transfer (64) configured to contact the second side of the sheet, whereby the inversion transfer module is configured to change the side of adherence and transportation of the sheet.
Medium transporting apparatus and post-processing apparatus
A medium transporting apparatus includes a transport belt that has a loop shaped, an clinging mechanism that causes a medium to cling to the transport belt, a rotation mechanism that rotates the transport belt in a first and second rotation direction, and an intermediate stacker on which the medium transported by the transport belt is stacked, in which the clinging mechanism cling an upper surface that is opposite to a lower surface of the medium on the intermediate stacker side, and after rotating the transport belt, to which the medium is cling, in the first rotation direction to transport the medium in a first transport direction, the rotation mechanism rotates the transport belt in the second rotation direction to transport the medium in a second transport direction that is opposite to the first transport direction so as to stack the medium on the intermediate stacker.
