Device for providing a tubular foil
A device for providing a tubular foil comprises a frame (5) with a position for an active product holder (P4) from which the tubular foil (10) can be removed and at least one further position (P1-P5) for at least one subsequent product holder with a subsequent tubular foil (20). The device provides coupling means for attaching a leading end (25) of the subsequent tubular foil (20) to a tail end (15) of a spent tubular foil (10). The coupling means comprise a carriage (110) with a drivable applicator device (100). The applicator device comprises a set of opposite applicator members (130) with mutually facing operative surfaces (135) and can be manipulated between a spread position, wherein the operative surfaces lie removed from each other, and a clamping position wherein the operative surfaces lie clampingly on each other. The applicator device (100) further comprises supply means for providing adhesive strips (60) in the spread position, and can be controlled to bring the applicator members (130) with the adhesive strips (60) into the clamping position, with interposing of the tail end (15) of the spent tube (10) and the leading end (25) of the subsequent tube (20), in order to mutually connect the ends (15, 25), and to bring the applicator members into the spread position in order to release the ends with the adhesive strips.
Splicing device and splicing method
A splicing device and splicing method in which automatic and accurate splicing is performed by inserting two carrier tapes into the device. The splicing device including cutting devices for cutting the tail end of number one carrier tape and the leading end of number two carrier tape at a predetermined cutting position; a positioning device for indexing number one and number two carrier tapes towards each other respectively to splicing position at which positioning pins engage with indexing holes of the number one and number two carrier tapes; and a joining device which, with splicing tape affixed to connected protective tape positioned at the splicing position, folds protective tape and joins the splicing tape to both surfaces of number one and number two carrier tapes straddling thereof.
Electrode sheet connection method and electrode sheet
The present technology relates to a method for connecting electrode sheets in a roll-to-roll process, and the method includes: arranging a flexible connection sheet of a predetermined length between a first electrode sheet and a second electrode sheet; connecting the first electrode sheet to the flexible connection sheet by attaching one side of the first electrode sheet to one side of the flexible connection sheet using a first tape; and connecting the second electrode sheet to the flexible connection sheet by attaching one side of the second electrode sheet to the other side of the flexible connection sheet using a second tape. Further, the present technology relates to an electrode sheet manufactured by manufactured by the method of connecting electrode sheets.
Method and apparatus for feeding a production line of absorbent sanitary articles with a layer of a virgin multilayer tape
A method for feeding a production line of absorbent sanitary articles with a layer of a virgin multilayer tape including providing a head free end of the virgin multilayer tape partially unwound from a respective virgin spool; providing a tail free end of a multilayer tape in use; applying a first connecting element on a first layer of the virgin multilayer tape and on a first layer of the multilayer tape in use at the head free end and tail free end; applying a second connecting element on a second layer of the virgin multilayer tape and on a second layer of the multilayer tape in use at the head free end and tail free end; pulling the first layer of the virgin multilayer tape in a first direction; pulling the second layer of the virgin multilayer tape in a second direction.
Roll replacing device and tab welding apparatus
The present application relates to a roll replacing device and a tab welding apparatus. The roll replacing device includes an unwinding mechanism, a first fixing mechanism, a second fixing mechanism, a cutting mechanism, and a strip connection mechanism; wherein the first fixing mechanism is capable of following a sliding bracket to move along a first direction until a spare material strip fixed by the first fixing mechanism and a working material strip fixed by the second fixing mechanism are aligned at a strip connection station, and allows the strip connection mechanism to connect the working material strip and the spare material strip which are aligned at the strip connection station.
Unwinder with automatic switching of the unwinding roll
Unwinder of a thin ply product wound on a roll, of the type with automatic switching of the unwinding roll with a spare roll, said unwinder comprisinga first roll-holder assembly equipped with a first unwinding rod for a respective roll, on which the roll is adapted to be supported, and which has an axis of rotation transversal to the direction of movement of the ply unwound from the roll,a second roll-holder assembly equipped with a second unwinding rod for a respective roll, on which the roll is adapted to be supported, said second rod being parallel to said first unwinding rod of the first roll-holder assembly, said second roll-holder assembly facing said first roll-holder assembly in an unwinding zone, wherein of said two roll-holder assemblies, one assembly holds the unwinding roll and the other assembly holds the spare roll to be switched,a ply splicing assembly placed above said first and second facing roll-holder assemblies,a ply accumulation unit to allow automatic switching between a roll being unwound in one said roll-holder assembly and a spare roll provided in the other roll-holder assembly,a transversal position correction system for the side edges of the plies on the rolls present in said roll-holder assemblies.
