Unwinder of reels of web material
An unwinder of reels of web material wound around winding spindles (A), includes a unwinding station (13) with at least one unwinding member (23) to rotate a reel (B) that is located in the unwinding station and feed the web material toward a delivery path (E). Lifting members (51, 53) are provided to lift a spindle of a first exhausted reel from the unwinding station (13), in a removal position (PR). An insertion member (7; 33) is further provided to insert a second reel into the unwinding station (13). A pressing member (61) is arranged to press the web material coming from the first reel in removal position (PR) against the second reel in the unwinding station (13).
Flying splice tape with residue-free fastener for woven and nonwoven fibrous materials
Provided are adhesive tapes and methods of use. The adhesive tape provides a flying splice of fibrous materials. An example adhesive tape comprises an adhesive layer, a backing adjacent to the adhesive layer, and a non-adhesive mechanical fastener.
Dispenser Apparatus and Method of Use for Laminating and Dispensing Transfer Tape in a Paper Web Turn-Up System
An apparatus and method for assembling, dispensing and using a laminated paper web transfer tape, an embodiment of the apparatus having a pair of transfer tape spools enclosed within a housing, one transfer tape spool containing a first tape component of the laminated transfer tape and the other transfer tape spool containing a second tape component of the laminated transfer tape, the first tape component being the combination of a substrate having adhesive on both sides and a release liner, the second tape component being a cover flap member having a release coating over at least a majority of one side. The components are unwound from the spools and pressed together such that they become joined along a longitudinal edge strip, then dispensed from the housing. The cover flap member covers one of the adhesive sides of the transfer tape substrate until the moment just prior to transfer of a continuous paper web from a full web spool to an empty web spool, the cover flap member being opened to expose the adhesive by air pressure or resistance.
Splicing method and unit for splicing two packaging films for a horizontal packaging machine
Splicing method and unit for a packaging machine, whereby a first film is spliced to a second film which is a spare film. The splicing is performed by means of an adhesive element with two opposing adhesive surfaces, one for each film, and a longitudinal adhering element. First an adhesive surface is adhered to the adhering element and said adhering element moves so that the other adhesive surface comes into contact with the second film and adheres to it. Then the adhering element is separated from said second film, the adhesive element being adhered to said second film, and the first film is caused to come into contact with said adhesive element already adhered to the second film.
DEVICE FOR SEPARATING GUMMED PAPER AND LINING PAPER OF DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE
A device for separating a gummed paper and a lining paper of a double-sided tape is provided. In an example, the device includes a housing, a first rotating structure and a second rotating structure which are provided within the housing and a control part. A chamber for accommodating a double-sided tape coil is provided in the housing. The control part fits the chamber, and the double-sided tape coil is rotatable around the control part. The housing is provided with a sliding groove for accommodating the first rotating structure. When the first rotating structure abuts against the second rotating structure, the first rotating structure is positioned in a first limiting part of the sliding groove.
AUTO SPLICING DEVICE OF ROLL TO ROLL FEEDING EQUIPMENT
An auto splicing apparatus of roll to roll feeding equipment includes first and second supply rolls in which component fabric of a single layer is wound in roll form and the component fabric is unwound from the first supply roll or the second supply roll along a predetermined transfer path including a pair of feeding rollers that are disposed at upper and lower sides, respectively, of the transfer path; a first cutter assembly that is installed to perform a first vertical rotation based on the transfer path between the first supply roll and the feeding roller and including a first fabric cutter and a first fabric absorption portion; and a second cutter assembly that is installed to perform a second vertical rotation based on the transfer path between the second supply roll and the feeding roller and including a second fabric cutter and a second fabric absorption portion.
Splicing equipment for strips wound on a pair of spools
Splicing equipment for strips of paper, paper tissue, plastic and the like, defines an outgoing strip with a first strip and a second strip directed toward a user apparatus by means of two cutting mechanisms and two splicing group. In particular, the equipment comprises an output arresting mechanism actuatable for arresting the outgoing strip during the operations of cutting and splicing; and two respective applying devices for a double sided adhesive film. The splicing groups include a respective retaining member provided for retaining, after cutting and separation, an initial edge of the first strip or, respectively, an initial edge of the second strip in preparation of splicing on a terminal edge of the outgoing strip; and in which the applying devices are selectively actuatable for automatically depositing the double sided adhesive film on the initial edge of the first strip or, respectively, on the initial edge of the second strip.
