MEDIA STRAIGHTENER, FEEDER AND METHOD
Disclosed herein is a feeder that includes a receiver configured to receive a reel of carrier tape having media disposed thereon, a presentation location configured to present media from the reel for a subsequent picking process, a media straightener. The media straightener includes an inlet configured to receive the carrier tape and an outlet configured to expel the carrier tape to the presentation location. The media straightener includes a path located between the inlet and the outlet, the path including a first bend configured to permanently deform the media as the carrier tape moves through the first bend. Further disclosed is a media straightener and a method of straightening media.
Transfer apparatus
To provide a transfer apparatus correcting a curl of a card efficiently while preventing the card from deteriorating, a printing apparatus includes a transfer section transferring a transfer surface of a transfer film to the card, a rotating unit reversing the front side and back side of the card in two-sided transfer, a decurl mechanism correcting a curl of the card with the transfer surface transferred in the transfer section, and a control section controlling the decurl mechanism. The control section controls the decurl mechanism such that a correction amount for the card with the transfer surface transferred to one surface in two-sided transfer is smaller than a correction amount for the card in one-sided transfer, and that the total sum of correction amounts for respective surfaces of the card in two-sided transfer is smaller than the correction amount for the card in one-sided transfer.
SHEET CONVEYING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
Disclosed is a sheet conveying apparatus, including: a conveying member configured to convey a sheet; a plurality of changing portions successively provided downstream of the conveying member in a conveying direction of the sheet, the plurality of changing portions being configured to change the conveying direction of the sheet conveyed by the conveying member by curving the sheet; and a control portion configured to control a conveying speed of the sheet. The control portion controls a conveying speed of the sheet such that V1<V2 where V1 indicates a conveying speed of a sheet conveyed fey the conveying member, a leading and of which sheet passes through a specific changing portion among the plurality of changing portions, and V2 indicates a conveying speed of a sheet conveyed without passing through the specific changing portion.
Post processing apparatus and image forming apparatus
A post processing apparatus is attachable to an image forming apparatus. In a state in which a concavely curled recording material is placed on a second placement unit, when a plurality of the recording materials which are convexly curled are discharged to the second placement unit, a control unit causes a post processing unit to perform specified post processing on at least one recording material of the plurality of recording materials, causes a discharging unit to discharge the at least one recording material to the second placement unit, and after the discharge, causes the post processing unit to perform the specified post processing on the recording material or the recording materials of the plurality of recording materials other than the at least one recording material.
PAPER FEED APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A paper feed apparatus comprises a paper feed section, a separation section, a rotating body and a control device. The paper feed section feeds an image receiving medium that is placed. The separation section is arranged at a downstream side of the paper feed section in a conveyance direction of the image receiving medium. If a plurality of the image receiving media fed from the paper feed section is overlapped, the separation section separates the plurality of the image receiving media that is overlapped. The rotating body is arranged at the upstream side of the separation section in the conveyance direction of the image receiving medium. The rotating body is capable of contacting with the placed image receiving medium. The rotating body is rotatable. The control device carries out control to rotate the rotating body at least before an operation of the paper feed section.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND CONVEYANCE SPEED CONTROL METHOD
An image forming apparatus includes: a transferer that forms a transfer nip for transferring an image on a paper sheet; a conveyance member that is disposed upstream from the transfer nip in a conveyance direction of the paper sheet; and a hardware processor that increases a conveyance speed of the paper sheet in the conveyance member relative to a conveyance speed of the paper sheet in the transferer and controls conveyance of the paper sheet to loosen the paper sheet between the transfer nip and the conveyance member, wherein the hardware processor changes a conveyance speed of the paper sheet in the conveyance member in accordance with a conveyance length of the paper sheet in the conveyance member.
Printing device
A printing device is described in which there is a media guide that is arranged to guide a printable media substrate from an upstream media path towards an input of the printing device or away from an output of the printing device towards a downstream media path. The media guide is movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position the media guide is arranged to guide the printable media along a respective media path. In the second position, which is spaced apart from the first position, the media guide forms a buffer region into which a variable amount of media substrate can collect.
Transfer apparatus
The present invention is to provide a transfer apparatus which can effectively correct a curl of a card and prevent deterioration of the card. The transfer apparatus transfers a transfer layer of a transfer film with a transfer roller to both faces of a card, a transfer unit which includes the transfer roller is structured to perform transfer processing for a plurality of times on at least one face of the card. A controller controls transfer sequence of transfer processing so that transfer processing is performed alternately on a first face (front face) and a second face (back face) of a card and so that the number of times of decurl processing with a decurl mechanism is smaller than the number of times of transfer processing.
Printing apparatus, control method therefor and storage medium
A printing apparatus includes a feeding roller to feed a sheet, a conveyance roller conveys the sheet, a printing head prints on the sheet, a reversing path that reverses the sheet from a first surface to a second surface, and a control unit that controls feeding of a preceding sheet and a succeeding sheet fed next to the preceding sheet. The control unit starts feeding of the succeeding sheet when a trailing edge of the preceding sheet, which was reversed by the reversing path, reaches a predetermined position and feeds the succeeding sheet so that a distance between the trailing edge of the preceding sheet and a leading edge of the succeeding sheet is within a predetermined range.
Printer apparatus
A printer apparatus includes a printer main body having a platen roller and a print head to print on recording paper, a cutter unit configured to cut the recording paper, and a presenter unit connected to the cutter unit, wherein the recording paper on which the print head has printed enters the presenter unit through the cutter unit, and comes out from a discharge slot of the presenter unit, wherein the presenter unit includes a first roller and a second roller configured to convey the recording paper placed therebetween, and a flapper disposed along a transportation path of the recording paper between the cutter unit and both the first roller and the second roller, and configured to be flipped open to an outside of the presenter unit to expose the transportation path, wherein an angle at which the flapper is open is selectively set to one of a plurality of different angles.
