The first material includes a first elastic layer and a first support layer. The first material dispensing station includes a dispenser roller configured to hold a roll of the first material, a plurality of rollers configured to convey the first material from the dispenser roller to the first receiving location, and a stripper plate configured remove at least a portion of the first support layer from a portion of the first elastic layer.
Apparatus and method for splicing substantially flat continuous material
The apparatus and method for splicing substantially flat continuous material (10) comprises a transport unit (1) for transporting a first substantially flat continuous material (70) and a second substantially flat continuous material (71) to a splicing location. The transport unit is adapted to transport the first substantially flat continuous material and the second substantially flat continuous material parallel to each other forming an overlap portion of the first substantially flat continuous material and the second substantially flat continuous material in the splicing location. A pressure unit (3) is arranged in the splicing location. The pressure unit is adapted to apply a mechanical impact onto at least a part of the overlap portion of the first substantially flat continuous material and the second substantially flat continuous material, thereby at least partially merging the first substantially flat continuous material with the second substantially flat continuous material.
LEARNING DEVICE, FIBROUS FEEDSTOCK RECYCLING APPARATUS, LEARNING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A control device using, as a learning target, a transporting apparatus, a rotation control section which controls at least one of a rotation speed of a first roller and a rotation speed of a second roller, and a position detection section which detects a position of the transport target matter, the control device including a state variable acquisition section which acquires a state variable and a detection result of the position detection section, the state variable being based on information of a state of the transport target matter and information of an environment to which the transport target matter is exposed, and a learning section which learns a control expression for calculating a control value of the rotation control section based on a dataset containing the state variable acquired by the state variable acquisition section and the detection result of the position detection section.
MEDIUM CONVEYING DEVICE AND LIQUID DISCHARGING DEVICE
A medium conveying device includes a driving roller configured to apply a driving force to a medium to convey the medium, a first driven roller configured to press the medium toward the driving roller, and a second driven roller arranged upstream of the first driven roller in a conveying direction of the medium, and that is configured to contact the medium entirely in an intersecting direction intersecting the conveying direction to press the medium toward the driving roller, wherein a contact portion of the second driven roller contacting the medium includes a material configured to adsorb a plasticizer of the medium, and a pressing force of the second driven roller is weaker than a pressing force of the first driven roller.
Sheet conveying device and image forming apparatus
Provided is a sheet conveying device including: a conveying portion; and a first conveying guide, the first conveying guide forming a conveying path above a heating portion and having a curved portion for forming a curved path in the conveying path and a plurality of ribs provided on a surface of the curved portion, the plurality of ribs extending along a conveying direction and including a first rib and a second rib adjacent to the first rib, wherein the second rib is arranged to be deviated from the first rib in a width direction and the conveying direction, and wherein in the conveying direction, a second upstream end of the second rib being positioned between a first upstream end and a first downstream end of the first rib, the first downstream end being positioned between the second upstream end and a second downstream end of the second rib.
Tension head with tension wheel cam biasing element for modular steel strapping machine
A self-actuating tension head for a strapping machine for feeding a steel strapping material around a load, tensioning the strapping material and sealing the strapping material to itself has a tension wheel biasing element. The tension head includes a body defining a strap path therethrough, a drive wheel, a tension wheel and a pinch wheel. The strap path extends between the tension wheel and the pinch wheel. The drive wheel is a fixed distance from the tension wheel. The drive and tension wheels are operably engaged with one another. A pivoting link operably connects the drive and tension wheels. The link pivots about the drive wheel axis of rotation. A cam is operably mounted to the tension wheel, and engages a cam follower to pivot the link to move the tension wheel into and out of engagement with the pinch wheel. The tension wheel biasing element cooperates with the cam to maintain the cam in a position relative to the cam follower.
Apparatus and method for combining tobacco sheets
The apparatus for combining tobacco sheets comprises a first shaft for carrying a first bobbin of tobacco sheet and a second shaft for carrying a second bobbin of tobacco sheet. The apparatus also comprises a splicing unit for combining an end portion of tobacco sheet from the first bobbin to a head portion of tobacco sheet from the second bobbin. The splicing unit comprises a cutting device for cutting the tobacco sheets such as to provide complementary cuts to the tobacco sheets from the first bobbin and from the second bobbin, a dispensing device for dispensing water to at least one of the tobacco sheets, and a combining device for applying force onto the tobacco sheets thereby producing a spliced tobacco sheet.
Image forming device
An image forming device capable of reducing resources related to destruction of a wireless tag is provided. The image forming device according to the present embodiment includes a reader and writer, a fixing unit, a determination unit, and a control unit. The reader and writer reads information from the wireless tag. The fixing unit heats and conveys a sheet having the wireless tag. The determination unit determines a defect of the wireless tag based on a reading result of the reader and writer. If the determination unit determines that the wireless tag is defective, the control unit controls the fixing unit to increase an amount of heat applied to the wireless tag such that information cannot be read from the wireless tag.
