Electronic dispenser for flexible rolled sheet material
An electronic dispenser for dispensing flexible sheet material. A control circuit receives a plurality of signals and controls dispensing of the sheet material. A tear bar is mounted within the housing for severance of the sheet material. A pivotally mounted pawl member is located proximate to the tear bar such that movement of the sheet material into the tear bar for severance pivots the pawl member from a first position to a second position, such movement causing a signal to be sent to the control circuit. The dispensing mechanism is operative in a first mode to be responsive to a signal from a proximity sensor to dispense a sheet of material, and is operative in a second mode to dispense a next sheet in response to the signal activated by movement of the pawl member to the second position in response to dispensed sheet material being removed from the dispenser.
Systems and methods for handling a flexible web
According to one aspect, a web handling system comprises a plurality of cross-grooved idler rollers, an imaging drum, a nip roller adjacent the imaging drum and forming a nip therewith, and a spreader roller disposed between the plurality of idler rollers and the nip roller. Each idler roller is disposed no more than a first distance from an adjacent idler roller, spreader roller, and nip roller and the spreader roller is disposed no more than a second distance from the nip. The first distance is in a range of 38 to 28 inches, 36 to 30 inches, or 35 to 33 inches and the second distance is in a range of 6 to 11 inches, 6.5 to 9 inches, or 7.0 to 8.5 inches.
Dispenser for Rolled Sheet Materials with Belt Drive System
The present disclosure is in one aspect to a dispenser for rolled sheet materials. The dispenser includes a feed roller that is rotatably mounted to a housing of the dispenser housing, and that is configured to feed a predetermined amount of sheet material from the supply of sheet material through a discharge provided along the housing of the dispenser. The dispenser also has a feed roller drive assembly with a drive motor, and a belt transmission assembly. The belt transmission assembly has a drive belt coupled to the drive motor and to the feed roller such that rotation of the feed roller is driven by operation of the drive motor.
Elastic body roller
An elastic body roller which has an excellent non-stick property or release property, and frictional force (gripping force) and is able to stably feed and guide a belt-shaped member such as a linerless label, a typical liner label, or the like is provided. Attention has been paid to coating an outer layer of an inner layer elastic material member having a silicone resin (a outer layer elastic material member) with a C hardness (hardness by a spring-type Asker C type defined in the SRIS 0101 standard) set low. An elastic material member of an elastic body roller has an inner layer elastic material member provided on the outer periphery of a roller shaft, and a outer layer elastic material member provided on the outer periphery of the inner layer elastic material member and being in contact with a belt-shaped member, and the outer layer elastic material member is formed from a silicone resin with a C hardness of 20 degrees or less.
MEDIUM CONVEYANCE DEVICE
Provided is a medium conveying apparatus to enable suitable feeding of a plurality of types of media. A medium conveying apparatus includes a guide member including an opening or a notch and configured to form a conveyance surface of a medium, a feed roller located inside the opening or the notch and configured to feed the medium, a separation roller located to face the feed roller, and protruding parts located on left and right sides of the separation roller relative to a medium conveying direction. The guide member includes recessed parts positioned on left and right sides of the feed roller relative to the medium conveying direction. The protruding parts are located at positions facing the opening or the notch, or the recessed parts in such a way that the medium is conveyed between the protruding parts and the recessed parts. A tip of each of the protruding parts is positioned on the feed roller side of a nip part of the feed roller and the separation roller.
MEDIA FEEDING APPARATUS
A media feeding apparatus includes: a feed roller, a separation roller, and a pressing portion to press one of the feed roller and the separation roller against the other to form a nip region. A surface of the feed roller has grooves extending in a width direction of the feed roller. The grooves are arranged with a pitch such that at least one groove is always present in the nip region during feeding of the medium. A width of each groove is 0.5 mm or greater and is set such that a contact area ratio is 0.5 or greater, the ratio being a value obtained by {(a surface area of the feed roller in the nip region?an area of the at least one groove of the feed roller in the nip region)}/(the surface area of the feed roller in the nip region). A surface of the separation roller has grooves extending in a circumferential direction of the separation roller.
Sheet conveyance apparatus and image forming apparatus
The sheet conveyance apparatus includes first and second rollers, the second roller coming into contact with the first roller and thereby forming a nip portion, the second rotation axis being inclined with respect to the first rotation axis, wherein the second roller includes a first outer circumferential portion having a first outside diameter, a second outer circumferential portion arranged on one side of the first outer circumferential portion in an axial direction of the second rotation axis and having a second outside diameter larger than the first outside diameter, and a third outer circumferential portion arranged on the other side of the first outer circumferential portion, and wherein an outer circumferential surface of the first roller contacts with at least the first, second and third outer circumferential portions of the second roller, to form the nip portion.

Provided are a sheet stacking device, a counter ejector and a box making machine, wherein: a hopper unit stacks sheet-like cardboard boxes; feeding rolls feed a cardboard box to the hopper unit; and a guiding device is disposed between the feeding rolls and the hopper unit and includes a first guide part that extends in a horizontal direction and guides a lower surface of the cardboard box and a second guide part that extends in a vertical direction and guides a rear end of the cardboard box. Due to this configuration, the occurrence of damage to box making sheets in high-speed conveying of the box making sheets can be suppressed and the box making sheets can be appropriately stacked in a prescribed posture.
