FOLDABLE PITFALL BEDBUG TRAP
A trap for certain insect pests may be configured to be particularly suitable for bedbugs and take the form of a foldable pitfall bedbug trap. The pitfall trap walls extend vertically upwardly at an angle and are sufficiently rough to permit bedbugs to climb to an upper edge of the trap, whereas the inner surfaces of the pitfall trap walls have been treated with a smooth material, such as being laminated, causing bedbugs at the upper edge to fall upon initiating contact with the inner pitfall walls and their smooth characteristics. The resultant foldable pitfall bedbug trap is relatively inexpensive to produce and easily user-deployable.

CAROUSEL-TYPE TRAP FOR INSECTS

The error rate of the classification is reduced by utilizing multiple inputs to the classification system, which may include a precise circadian rhythm for the time of year, current environmental conditions, and flight velocity or direction.
A SYSTEM FOR INSECT SURVEILLANCE AND TRACKING
A mosquito surveillance device includes one or more mosquito traps having a camera capable of taking images of mosquitos and transmitting the images electronically to a receiver. Suitable traps include an ovitrap, for example. Images may be transmitted from inside or outside the trap to a receiver using low bandwidth cellular phone networks. The images are processed and displayed using software forming mosquito data. The images may be analyzed and the number of live mosquitos identified, the number of dead mosquitos identified, the species of mosquitos identified, or mapped vector densities in real time identified preferably at high resolution.

The present invention relates to a mosquito-killing lamp, including a shell consisting of an upper shell, a fan frame and a lower shell, wherein the upper shell is provided with a mosquito inlet cavity, the lower shell is provided with a mosquito storage cavity, the fan frame is internally provided with a mounting cavity, a mosquito blocking base is clamped between the fan frame and the lower shell, the mosquito blocking base is provided with an opening for conducting the mounting cavity and the mosquito storage cavity, the mosquito blocking base is provided with a baffle capable of opening or closing the opening in a hinge manner, and a driving mechanism is arranged on the mosquito blocking base. By adoption of the above solution, the mosquitoes are not easy to fly out and the mosquito killing effect is better.
