Provided is an image-forming device with which it is possible to achieve a smaller size while suppressing a reduction in visibility or operability of an operation panel. In this image-forming device, paper sheets are discharged from the rear side of the device toward the front side of the device, and the image formation device is provided with: a paper-sheet-loading unit in which the paper sheets are loaded; an operation panel disposed on the downstream-side end in the paper sheet discharge direction of the paper-sheet-loading unit, at least a part of the operation panel being disposed in a loading region of the paper-sheet-loading unit; and a protruding part disposed to the side of the operation panel in the loading region, the protruding part protruding upward from the top surface of the paper-sheet-loading unit, and extending in the paper sheet discharge direction.
Sheet storage device, image forming apparatus
A sheet storage device includes a case, a lift plate, and a lift attachment. The lift attachment is fixed, in a detachable manner, to a central portion of the lift plate in a width direction. The lift attachment supports a lower surface of the sheets stacked on the lift plate at a position higher than the upper surface of the lift plate. The lift attachment includes a base portion and a pair of arm portions. The pair of arm portions are respectively formed to extend from an end portion of the base portion that is on a downstream side in the sheet feed direction, to opposite directions in the width direction.
Printing apparatus and control method for the printing apparatus
A printer includes a printing unit, a casing, a scanner unit disposed in an upper portion of the casing, and a discharge unit that, below the scanner unit, is connected to the casing pivotably between a closed position and an open position and that a sheet of paper is discharged to. The discharge unit includes a placement surface for the sheet and a medium support unit capable of supporting the sheet from below while in a state of being protruded from the placement surface. The medium support unit is displaceable between a maximum protruded position and a minimum protruded position. When the amount of protrusion of the medium support unit from the placement surface when the discharge unit is in the open position is less than the amount of protrusion of the medium support unit in the maximum protruded position from the placement surface.

A paper feed apparatus includes: a sheet tray on which sheets are stacked; a sheet attractor which is located above the sheet tray and attracts sheets one by one from the above; a leading edge fan which is located in a leading edge side of the sheets and blows separation air against leading edges of the sheets to separate an uppermost sheet of the sheets closest to the sheet attractor from lower sheets located below the uppermost sheet; a sheet conveyor which is located in a downstream side of the sheet attractor along a conveying direction of the sheets to convey the uppermost sheet which is attracted by the sheet attractor and separated from the lower sheets by the leading edge fan; and a lifting member which is detachably provided on the sheet tray to support a tail side of a back of the sheets.
SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A sheet processing apparatus includes a first and second alignment members that moves relatively in a width direction to align a position of a sheet in the width direction. Each alignment member includes a contact surface configured to come in contact with an end of the sheet in the width direction, a lower portion configured to support a lower surface of the sheet, and an upper portion facing an upper surface of the sheet. For each of the first and second alignment members, the lower portion is more distant from the contact surface than the upper portion in the width direction, the lower portion is positioned above a lower end of the contact surface in a gravity direction, and a distance between the upper portion and the lower portion in the gravity direction is smaller than a length of the contact surface in the gravity direction.
Recording apparatus
A recording apparatus includes: a mount base having a mount surface on which a sheet discharged through a medium discharge outlet is mounted, the mount surface facing the recording surface of the sheet; a projection rib that is provided in the mount base, is projectable from the mount surface, and extends along a discharge direction of the sheet discharged through the medium discharge outlet, through a center of the sheet in a width direction crossing the discharge direction of the sheet; and a projection mechanism that causes the projection rib to project from the mount surface to a rib height according to a dimension of the sheet in the width direction discharged through the medium discharge outlet.

A sheet transport device includes a loading unit at which a sheet to be conveyed is loaded, a transport unit configured to impart to the sheet loaded at a sheet loading surface of the loading unit a transport force for transporting the sheet toward an alignment unit, and an adjustment unit configured to adjust the transport force. The adjustment unit includes a movable loading unit formed so that at least part of the sheet loading surface is configured to protrude toward the transport unit and a driving unit configured to displace the movable loading unit in a protruding direction and a retracting direction.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes an ejecting port, an ejected sheet tray and a guiding member. The ejected sheet tray has a sheet stacking face inclined upwardly towards a downstream side from a lower side of the ejecting port. The guiding member is provided at a position on the sheet stacking face to contact with a tip end of the ejected sheet at the position. The guiding member includes a base member attached to the sheet stacking face, a movable guide for stacking the ejected sheet and a biasing member. The movable guide is turnably supported on the base member around a supporting shaft. The biasing member is interposed between the base member and the movable guide at an upstream side from the supporting shaft to bias the movable guide upwardly. The movable guide is turned downwardly against a biasing force of the biasing member by weight of stacked sheets.
Feeding device and recording device
A feeding unit includes a paper feeding tray, a lifter, a feeding roller, a guide plate, and a handling portion. The lifter can displace paper in the paper feeding tray in a +B direction. The guide plate guides a downstream end of the paper lifted by the lifter in a +A direction toward the feeding roller. The handling portion handles the paper toward the feeding roller. The guide plate forms a frontage through which the paper can pass between the guide plate and an outer peripheral surface of the feeding roller, and is provided so that a size of the frontage can be adjusted. The handling portion is provided integrally with the guide plate.
PAPER EJECTION TRAY ASSEMBLY WITH RIBS
A paper ejection tray assembly for ejecting paper in an ejecting direction in an image reading device includes a tray body including a stacking surface for stacking an ejected paper, and a pair of movable ribs which are arranged a predetermined distance apart from each other in a direction perpendicular to the ejection direction of the paper and which project out from the stacking surface of the tray body at least when paper is ejected from an ejection slot, the pair of ribs respectively have first inclined surfaces with heights from the stacking surface gradually becoming higher from the downstream side toward the upstream side of the ejection direction of the paper so as to guide the paper ejected from the ejection slot.
