A sheet feeding device includes a sheet feeding cassette, which is detachable with respect to a sheet feeding cassette mounting portion provided on an image forming device body. The sheet feeding cassette includes a storage portion that stores a paper sheet, a first regulator provided on a bottom portion of the storage portion that regulates the position of a paper sheet, and a movable placement plate that upwardly pushes a paper sheet stored in the storage portion. The movable placement plate includes a second regulator that regulates the position of a paper sheet having a different size to the size of a paper sheet that can be regulated by the first regulator.

A medium conveying apparatus for conveying media in a conveying direction includes: a medium container on which the media are stacked; and a medium separator that abuts an uppermost medium of the media stacked on the medium container and separates the uppermost medium from the media stacked on the medium container. The medium container includes: a medium support that abuts a lowermost medium of the media stacked on the medium container and supports the stacked media; and a tilting mechanism that tilts the medium support relative to a horizontal plane at a tilt angle according to a weight of the media stacked on the medium container.

Provided are a recording apparatus, when a medium is discharged from a recording apparatus main body, which can achieve both of appropriate mounting of a medium in which the leading edge thereof is curled on a medium receiving tray, and reduction of damage to a medium when mediums of different sizes are mixed on the medium receiving tray.

An adjustable tray includes a first board, a second board and an adjustment component. The second board is pivoted on the first board, and the second board has at least one first position section and at least one second position section. The adjustment component includes a main part and at least one abutted part connected to each other. A first distance is between the first position section and the first board. A second distance is between the second position section and the first board. The first distance is different from the second distance. The main part is movably disposed on the first board for positioning the abutted part at the first position section or the second position section to pivot the second board with a first angle or a second angle between the first board and the second board, and the first angle is different from the second angle.

A sheet feeding device includes a document mounting board, in which a downstream end of the document mounting board in the feeding direction of the documents in the feed mechanism is connected to a scanner body so as to be rotatable about a first turning shaft parallel to a rotation shaft of a pickup roller, the first turning shaft is located downstream from the feed mechanism in the feeding direction of the documents in the feed mechanism, a mounting surface of the document mounting board on which the documents are mounted is located above the pickup roller when the documents are mounted on the document mounting board, and the document mounting board turns about the first turning shaft such that the mounting surface moves downward and the mounting surface moves downward from a contact portion of the pickup roller with the document when the documents mounted on the document mounting board are fed.

A sheet feeding device includes a document mounting board, in which a downstream end of the document mounting board in the feeding direction of the documents in the feed mechanism is connected to a scanner body so as to be rotatable about a first turning shaft parallel to a rotation shaft of a pickup roller, the first turning shaft is located downstream from the feed mechanism in the feeding direction of the documents in the feed mechanism, a mounting surface of the document mounting board on which the documents are mounted is located above the pickup roller when the documents are mounted on the document mounting board, and the document mounting board turns about the first turning shaft such that the mounting surface moves downward and the mounting surface moves downward from a contact portion of the pickup roller with the document when the documents mounted on the document mounting board are fed.
