A stress tearable tape includes an elongated film and a hand tearing arrangement. The film has a non-adhesive surface and an opposed adhesive surface, and defines a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction. The hand tearing arrangement includes a plurality of pinholes formed along the longitudinal direction of the film. With the combination application of internal force, shear tension, compression tension, pinhole arrangement, and material's biaxial structure, and users' habit together, each of the pinholes enables the film being torn by hand with a force starting at one of the pinholes, such that the film is hand tearable at any section in the transverse direction thereof.

Strap dispenser

A strap dispenser includes a main body and two loading units. The loading units are configured to receive a strapping roll. The loading units are connected with a connecting member and an elastic member. When in use, a strapping roll is first placed on one of the loading units to be guided and located between the loading units through the connecting member and the elastic member. When the strapping roll is pulled, the strap dispenser can prevent the strapping roll from being jammed or pulled out of the loading units due to the action of the centrifugal force.

Drywall banjo tools for applying joint tape

Method and apparatus are disclosed for drywall banjo tools for applying joint tape. An example drywall banjo for applying joint tape includes a banjo body. The banjo body includes a panel and side walls protruding from outer edges of the panel to define a cavity that is configured to contain joint compound mud. The side walls include a first side wall that extends between an inlet and an outlet. The example disclosed drywall banjo also includes a sloped mound configured to couple to and project away from the first side wall within the cavity. The sloped mound is configured to guide the joint compound mud within the cavity toward the joint tape travelling between the inlet and the outlet to enable the joint compound mud to uniformly collect on a side of the joint tape.

Buffer system and method for buffering a length of a strip between an input side and an output side, and related computer program product

There is provided a method for cutting an adhesive film and an adhesive film that are novel and improved and capable of fabricating an adhesive film with a low glass transition point, high quality, and a width of less than 1 mm. According to an aspect of the present invention in order to achieve the above object, there is provided a method for cutting an adhesive film, the method including cutting, under a temperature environment of 40 to 10 C., an adhesive film that satisfies a condition of the following formula (1) and whose tack value per unit length under room temperature is 3N/cm or more.

y0.27x+11.4(1)

In the formula (1), x is a glass transition point ( C.) of the adhesive film, and y is a tack value per unit length (N/cm) under room temperature of the adhesive film.

Device for producing both linerless labels and lined labels

A device for producing both linerless labels and lined labels includes a base frame; a hotmelt station arranged on the base frame; and a portal frame arranged on the base frame and extending over the hotmelt station. A number of guide rollers are arranged on the portal frame for guiding a web of material along a web path. The hotmelt station is rotatably arranged on the base frame around an axis parallel to the plane of the web path of the guide rollers between a first position and a reversed, second position. Both the first and second position the plane of the web path of the hotmelt station are parallel to the plane of the web path of the guide rollers on the portal frame.

A reel body is the reel body in which an adhesive film having an adhesive layer on a base material layer is wound around a winding core. The adhesive film does not have a protective layer on the adhesive layer and is wound around the winding core in a state in which the adhesive layer and the base material layer are contiguous to each other in the radial direction of the winding core. A width of the winding core in an axial direction is smaller than a width of the adhesive film. In a rolled body of the adhesive film, an overhang portion jutting out in the axial direction of the winding core is provided.
