Recording device
The recording device includes an adhesive belt extending across a plurality of rotating bodies configured to support and convey a recording medium, a first sensor configured to detect that the recording medium is separated relative to the adhesive belt in a first range, a second sensor configured to detect that the recording medium P is separated relative to the adhesive belt in a second range within the first range, a take-up unit configured to take up the recording medium, and a control unit configured to control the take-up unit so as to take up the recording medium when the first sensor detects that a separation position of the recording medium is within the first range, and control the rotating body to stop movement of the adhesive belt when the second sensor detects that the separation position of the recording medium is within the second range.
SUPPORT STRAP DISPENSERS AND HOLSTERS FOR USE WITH SAME
A dispenser for storing and dispensing a rolled support strap, including but not limited to hanger straps (sometimes referred to as plumber's tape) such as those sold under the trade name TAB TAPE, as well as assemblies that include a dispenser and a rolled support strap therein, and associated methods. A holster for holding the dispenser, as well as a system including a holster and a dispenser, are also disclosed.
Winding assembly
A winding assembly includes a first supporting member, a pivot shaft, a driving assembly, and a limiting member. The pivot shaft is partly received in the first supporting member. The pivot shaft is configured to support the adhesive tape coil thereon. The adhesive tape coil is configured to be rotatable relative to the first supporting member. The driving assembly includes a secondary shaft. The secondary shaft is partly received in the first supporting member and capable of moving relative to the first supporting member. A first end of the secondary shaft is exterior to the first supporting member and is configured to couple to the hollow rod. The limiting member is spaced a preset distance from the first supporting member and capable of moving relative to the first supporting member. The limiting member and the first supporting member are configured to cooperatively limit the wound adhesive tape.
Adhesive film production apparatus and reel bodies
Provided is an adhesive film production apparatus for producing an adhesive film having an adhesive layer on a base material layer, the adhesive film production apparatus including: a feeding roller that continuously feeds a raw film of the adhesive film; a cutting part that cuts the raw film of the adhesive film into a plurality of adhesive films having predetermined widths; and a plurality of winding cores that wind each of the plurality of adhesive films, wherein each of the plurality of winding cores has a width larger than a width of the adhesive film as an object of winding.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FEEDING MATERIAL WEBS TO A PROCESSING DEVICE
A delivery device for feeding planar material webs, for example airlaids, wetlaids, non-wovens, or films/foils, to a processing installation is proposed, said delivery device having a splicing unit and a multiple-web unwinding device. The splicing unit is configured for connecting a fibrous-web end of a preceding individual fibrous web to a fibrous-web lead of a subsequent individual fibrous web, so as to in this way feed a non-interrupted fibrous web to the processing installation. The splicing unit is moreover configured for processing airlaid fibrous webs that are wound on winding cores and are thus made up as roll goods. The multiple-web unwinding device has at least two winding-core mounts that are capable of being loaded in a mutually independent manner. Each of the winding-core mounts may receive a plurality of comparatively narrow rolls having narrower individual fibrous webs, or alternatively also a comparatively wider roll having a wider multiple fibrous web that is perforated in the unwinding direction. By virtue of the perforation, the wider multiple fibrous web may be detached so as to form a plurality of individual fibrous webs by severing along the perforation, such that as a result narrow fibrous webs may likewise be fed to the splicing unit, as is possible in the case of correspondingly narrow rolls having narrower individual fibrous webs.
PART FEEDING DEVICE AND PART MOUNTING APPARATUS
A tape feeder (part feeding device) includes a main body including a transporting passage for guiding a part feeding tape to a part removing position, a conveyor for positioning a storage of the part feeding tape which is inserted to the transporting passage to the part removing position, and a part detector for detecting the part stored in the storage in the transporting passage at the upstream side of the part removing position. The transporting passage includes a travelling surface for supporting the part feeding tape from underneath, a pair of side guides for guiding two side surfaces of the part feeding tape, and a squeezed portion in which a distance between the pair of side guides is gradually reduced from the upstream side of the part detector toward a part detecting position of the part detector.
Prepreg tape slitting method and apparatus
Improved methods and apparatus are provided for the production of prepreg slit tape wherein master rolls of prepreg sheet are formed which are capable of being slit, with liner attached, at high precision.

Tape Head for Sealing Cases
Structural and operational techniques for a tape head sealer are described herein. In one example, a tape head utilizes a first actuator to drive leading and trailing rollers and a second actuator to drive a tape-cutting knife. In some examples, the actuators may be air-powered cylinders. However, solenoids, hydraulics, motors and/or other devices may be used as actuators. In the example, a first air-powered cylinder may drive the leading and trailing rollers and a second air-powered cylinder may drive the tape-cutting knife. The leading and trailing rollers press tape against the case to thereby adhere the tape to the case to seal it. The second air-powered cylinder may extend a tape-cutting knife to cut the tape. After the tape has been cut, the knife may be retracted.
