Elevator car with door system
The invention is an elevator car, with a door system, for with a bottom-driven elevator, where it does not play a structural role in lifting, but provides aesthetics and safety to the passengers. The elevator car comprises lightweight materials. The car comprises a frame and a door system. The door system comprises at least one elevator door and at least one pulley system. The pulley system is attached to the frame and the elevator door is attached to the pulley system, such that the elevator door rotates horizontally around the frame when the pulley system is engaged. The elevator door comprises a pliable material, such as ballistic nylon. The elevator car can have one, two, three, or four door openings, including two adjacent door openings. Finally, the system may also include at least one light curtain that transmits signals to an elevator control system.
SPOKEN COMMAND INTERFACE
Methods, systems, and computer program products for spoken command interface are provided. Aspects include receiving a statement command from a user, wherein the receiving the statement command from the user includes capturing, by a sensor, a series of frames of the user, wherein the series of frames includes lip movements of the user, and determining at least one statement command from the user based on the lip movements of the user. One or more keywords are extracted from the statement command. The one or more keywords are used to determine an elevator command.
Elevator control system with facial recognition and authorized floor destination verification
An automated elevator control system using facial recognition. The system is capable of recognizing an elevator passenger's face in a field of view of an imaging device in close proximity to the elevator car, capturing the elevator passenger's facial image using video data output from the imaging device, and comparing the captured facial image to pre-registered facial image data in a database storing corresponding authorized floor destination data for each passenger. Upon determining a match between the captured facial image and a stored facial image, the system is capable of sending a signal to the elevator control system to move the elevator car to the elevator passenger's authorized floor destination.
Cognitive interactive elevator assistant
A method for providing an interactive elevator assistant is provided. The method may include identifying amenities associated with a property and location-based features within a vicinity of the property. The method may further include mapping the amenities to floor levels associated with the property. The method may further include receiving user input from a user located on an elevator associated with the property. The method may further include, in response to determining that the received user input comprises an amenity, determine the one or more floor levels on the property that are associated with the amenity and triggering the elevator to navigate to the determined one or more floor levels. The method may also include, in response to determining that the received user input comprises a location-based feature, sending the received user input to an application for processing. The method may further include providing a response via the elevator.
DESTINATION ENTRY USING BUILDING FLOOR PLAN
Methods and systems for making elevator service requests in a building. The method including obtaining a floor plan for the building and overlaying a measurement system of suitable scale onto the floor plan. The method also includes identifying relevant features and their location in the floor plan based on the measurement system, determining a pathway from a user device to a target area in the vicinity of an elevator door based on the relevant features, and computing a travel duration from the user device to the target area. Finally, the method includes assigning an elevator car to a user based on a user service request at the user device and the travel duration.

ELEVATOR CONTROL SYSTEM
There is provided an elevator control system capable of improving operation efficiency of an elevator. The elevator control system includes a processor; and a memory to store a program which performs processes of recognizing a floor based on information from in a car of an elevator during travel of the car, determining a destination floor based on the floor recognized, determining whether or not the destination floor determined during the travel of the car, and registering a call corresponding to the destination floor in the car during the travel of the car in a case where the destination floor is determined to be the stoppable floor. The program performs processes of, in a case where the destination floor is not determined to be the stoppable floor, registering the call corresponding to the destination floor in the car after the car responds to all calls registered in the car.
Touchless gesture recognition for elevator service
A method for provisioning elevator service includes sensing, by a gesture interface including a sensor, a region in proximity to the gesture interface to obtain data; determining, by the gesture interface, that a first pattern in the data corresponds to a first gesture; and initiating a request for elevator service in response to determining that the first pattern corresponds to the first gesture.
Elevator control device
An elevator controller includes a microphone that receives voice of a passenger in a car, a memory that, for a destination floor specifying operation for the passenger to specify a destination floor by voice, stores a first keyword defined beforehand to signify an operation start and second keywords defined beforehand to signify a destination floor, a voice recognition unit that compares a voice inputted from the microphone with the stored first and second keywords, and a controller that, when the door of the car is fully open or fully close, the voice recognition unit recognizes the first keyword and thereafter recognizes a second keyword, registers a destination floor corresponding to the second keyword. The controller outputs a command to suspend an operation to open or close the door of the car until the destination floor specifying operation is ended after the voice recognition unit recognizes the first keyword.
Hall destination floor input device for elevators, elevator control system, and elevator system
A hall destination floor input device for elevators includes an information input receiver provided on a hall of an elevator on a floor set as an evacuation floor in case of an emergency in a building including the elevator. The information input receiver receives information from outside. The device also includes a signal transmitter that transmits a signal to a control system of the elevator, and a controller configured to cause the signal transmitter to transmit a signal indicating a destination floor of the elevator when the information receiver receives input of information on the destination floor if an operation mode is not an emergency mode based on emergency information of the building, and cause the signal transmitter to transmit a signal to open a door of the elevator on the hall when the information input receiver starts receiving input of information if the operation mode is the emergency mode.
