METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INFESTATION DETECTION
A pest detection system comprising at least one of a temperature component, an odor component, or a respiration imitation component. The temperature component can be configured to radiate heat such that a select temperature is reached. The odor component can be configured to emit a select odor. The respiration imitation component can be configured to imitate a portion of a human breathing pattern. The pest detection system further comprises housing that retains a portion of the at least one of the temperature component, the odor component, or the respiration imitation component. The pest detection system additionally comprises a control system for controlling the at least one of the temperature component, the odor component, or the respiration imitation component. The pest detection system yet further comprises a trapping component. The trapping component can be configured to capture a pest.
IMAGING WITH WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SIGNALS
Methods and systems for estimating a distance to an object are described. In an example, a device can receive a reflected signal of a modulated signal being used in a wireless transmission of data. The reflected signal can be a reflection of the modulated signal from at least one object. The device can estimate a distance to the at least one object based on the modulated signal and the reflected signal. Further, the device can use the estimated distance to image a scenery including the at least one object.
SANITIZING AND INSECT-TRAPPING DEVICE
A sanitizing and insect-trapping device includes a casing, at least one LED light bar, a board, and titanium dioxide photocatalyst. The casing includes a plurality of openings. The at least one LED light bar is disposed of inside the casing and has LEDs disposed inside a metal hood and arranged to emit ultraviolet light. The board includes a light diffusion agent and is arranged inside the casing to be exposed to the ultraviolet light emitting from the LEDs. The titanium dioxide photocatalyst is arranged inside the casing to be exposed to ultraviolet light. The device provides functions of sterilization, insect trapping, air purification and also shows advantages of extended usage time life and low harm to human health.
INSECT AND OTHER SMALL OBJECT IMAGE RECOGNITION AND INSTANT ACTIVE RESPONSE WITH ENHANCED APPLICATION AND UTILITY
A device for detecting offending objects such as insects on substrates such as on leaves, plants, in fluid or over a large area. The device has a microscope lens which magnifies a portion of the substrate and sends an image of the substrate portion to an image recognition system. If the image recognition system detects the presence of an offending objectfurther steps are taken to remove, neutralize or mark the area where the offending object is located for subsequent action. The device may be mounted on a movable platform such as drone for active surveillance and action over a large area.
Induction heating systems
A method for performing mold remediation includes placing a ferromagnetic material in or adjacent to a surface upon which mold is located. The method also includes emitting, by an electromagnetic radiation source, radiation to heat the ferromagnetic material that is adjacent to the surface upon which the mold is located. The method also includes detecting, by a temperature sensor, a temperature of the surface. The method further includes comparing, by a processor in communication with the electromagnetic radiation source and the temperature sensor, the temperature of the surface to a desired temperature to perform mold remediation.

Method And System For Controlling And Communicating The Statuses Of Insect Bait Stations
A device for controlling at least one insect bait station, in particular for insects harmful to humans, animals and plants, in which the bait station is provided with: at least one container provided with an insect entrance opening, the container containing bait and being at least partially transparent or translucent, a lighting device lighting the inside of the container but located outside same, a telecommunication module and a printed circuit comprising, inter alia, a memory and a processor connected to said telecommunication means. The device comprises an optical sensor essentially opposite the lighting device, and connected to the printed circuit, which measures the general opacity caused by the insect(s) in the container, the corresponding value being transmitted for processing and analysis of the status of the bait station.
