Modular pest trap assembly
10674716 · 2020-06-09 ·

The modular pest trap assembly of the present application includes a modular relatively planar structure that is configured to be adaptable for different methods and areas of a structure for the capture of pests. The assembly includes a modular structure having a main body with a first face and a second face. The modular structure also includes a corner and a plurality of sides. An adhesive layer extends across a portion of the second face of the modular structure. A detachable film cover lays across the adhesive layer to permit handling without contact of the adhesive layer. Additionally, an attachment member is selectively located adjacent to at least one of the plurality of sides of the modular structure for the purpose of securing the modular structure to a corner structure. Flaps extend inward into the corner structure to extend available adhesive internally to the total void space.

An insect trap assembly for luring and trapping insects includes a tube that has an upper edge and a lower edge. The tube comprises a translucent material. An adhesive layer is positioned on an outer surface of the tube. The adhesive layer secures insects to the tube when the insects engage the adhesive layer. An illuminating member is mounted to the tube. The illuminating member illuminates the tube when the light emitter is turned on. The illuminating member is positioned in the tube.

ADHESIVE BARRIER FOR CRAWLING INSECTS
20200163322 · 2020-05-28 · ·

There is disclosed an adhesive barrier for crawling insects, comprising a flexible sheet of material having an adhesive on at least one side, with a peel-off liner protecting the adhesive surface. The flexible sheet of material is shaped to form a self-standing adhesive barrier when its first and second side edges are overlapped and bonded together, the self-standing barrier having angled side walls and first and second openings of a different size, at least one of the first and second openings adapted to be placed on a flat surface without any gaps. In an embodiment, the flexible sheet forms a self-standing adhesive barrier in the shape of a cone, with a large opening at one end, and a smaller opening at the other end. At least one opening is adapted to be placed on a flat surface without any gaps.

AN INSECT TRAP

An insect trap may include a first housing; a reservoir at least partially defined by the first housing; a protrusion disposed within the reservoir and extending inward from an interior surface of the first housing, the protrusion configured to pierce a package disposed within the reservoir; an actuator connected to the protrusion such that when the actuator is moved, the protrusion moves with the actuator within the reservoir; a second housing moveably engaging the first housing; a trap chamber partially formed by the first and second housings; an inlet into the trap chamber; and wherein the second housing is movable between a first position where the inlet is open and a second position where the inlet is closed. The trap may include a package enclosing an attractant composition. The package has a release rate of the attractant composition from about 5 g per day to about 500 g per day.

ADHESIVE-TYPE INSECT TRAP

An adhesive-type insect trap includes a body having a hole for insertion of an adhesive sheet; a light source mounting unit disposed on the body; and a cover which is detachably mounted on the body and has a through-hole in at least a part thereof, and an adhesive sheet including a sticky substance and a sheet. The body includes a guide unit by which the adhesive sheet is guided, and the cover comprises a light refraction unit therein or on a surface thereof.

PEST MONITORING AND NOTIFICATION

A pest detection and notification system includes one or more pest monitors and notification badges or cards. Both the pest monitors and the notification badges are capable of short-range wireless communication. Upon detection of presence of a pest, a pest monitor generates and transmits a wireless pest event message. Any notification badge present within the transmission area of the pest monitor will receive the pest event message. Each notification badge includes one or more pest event indicators, such as an audible indicator, a visible indicator, and/or a vibration motor. Upon receipt of the pest event message, the notification badge activates one or more of the pest event indicators, thus notifying the wearer that a pest presence within the transmission area has been detected.
