Furniture Protector Against Bed Bugs and Other Crawling Insects
Pitfall traps, coasters, devices, apparatus, systems and methods for capturing crawling insects, such as bed bugs, and/or for preventing the insects from climbing up furniture legs to furniture such as beds, cots, chairs and any type of furniture where a person would rest or sleep. Smooth slick surfaces and/or pesticide treated surfaces can be located on underside facing horizontal or angled surfaces used with or without sticky surfaces which all can be used to prevent insect and bed bug travel and assist in helping trap the insects and bed bugs.
Insect traps and monitoring system
A discrete and safe automated insect monitoring system includes a housing, an interior chamber within the housing, and a light source arranged within the housing to illuminate at least a portion of a floor surface of the interior chamber. A multi-pixel optical sensor is arranged within the housing so that a field of view of the sensor comprehends a substantial portion of the floor surface. A processing circuit arranged within the housing receives optical data from the multi-pixel optical sensor, analyzes the optical data to detect the intrusion of an insect or other object into the interior chamber by comparing most recently received optical data to previously received optical data, and generates an indication in response to detecting the intrusion of an insect or other object. Detection and/or classification results can be wirelessly forwarded to another device, to alert appropriate personnel.

Pet feeder with replaceable insect trap
A pet feeder is provided to redirect pests such as insects and bugs attracted to the scent of exposed pet food, trap the redirected pests, and further prevent untrapped pests from contaminating any exposed pet food. The feeder may comprise a hollow holder configured to suspend a portion of a pet food receptacle in the hollow space. Such holder may comprise a plurality of apertures disposed thereon, and UV lights and attractive scents may be provided to redirect the pests from the pet food by attracting them into the hollow interior of the holder. Then, the pests may be trapped in the hollow interior by way of replaceable traps such as flypaper. Additionally, fans may be disposed on the holder and configured to define a forceful barrier that prevents any untrapped pests from contaminating pet food by the entering a space immediately above the pet feeder.
Pest control lighting device
A pest control lighting device having a connector capable of electrically connecting to a common lightbulb socket or electrical outlet. The pest control lighting device includes one or more light sources in electrical connection with the connector. The pest control lighting device may include an inner module capable of holding one or more pest control materials, such as an insect repellent. The pest control lighting device may further include sound emitting components that may be capable of emitting an ultrasonic sound.
Roll for Assembling a Device For Detection And Elimination Of Insects Such As Bed Bugs
A roll for assembling a device (2) for detection and elimination of pest insects includes a wound up, continuous band of fibrous material, the band having a main portion (22) and a first flap folded thereover, wherein at least one aperture (35) is arranged in the main portion along at least part of the length of the continuous band, the face facing away from the first flap such that the adhesive strip completely covers over the at least one aperture, the aperture being at least partially filled with an insecticide in powder form. The roll may include a second flap, wherein the first flap and the second flap at least partially overlap and the second flap is sandwiched between the main portion and the first flap.
